The rooms are clean and spacious. The air conditioning works great. The views are awesome. Being right on the beach is so great - we can be snorkeling within a minute of leaving our room. The staff here are super friendly and the food is delicious!

The hotel is great, with the rooms overlooking the jungle, comfy bed, nice shower, air con, fan. A lovely restaurant is one minute walk, the beach is just outside. A good spot for snorkelling with plenty of fish. If you need a store or anything else, you either need a bike or legs of steel. But it’s a place you can comfortably spend weeks if you’re stocked up with mosquito repellent and don’t mind 20% higher prices in the restaurant- which has an amazing view and great cuisine, one of the best Tom Yums I had on the island. You might also need earplugs - at least at the rainy season, you get a free concert of bullfrogs that starts about 22 and ends about 2am. After the main performance ends, there’s typically a solo artist that continues for another hour or so. So if you hear the weird “moo” sounds in the evening you now know what this is! Make sure you have a mosquito repellent if going in the rainy season!

Their garlic pepper pork is so flavorful and amazing! Their rooms are also decent priced for the incredible location. Snorkeling right off the beach. Cheap diving at Calypso - right next door. This place is truly paradise. Stayed 3 nights and would do it all over again🏝️

We only tried the restaurant, very poor service. We waited for 50 minutes for our fruit shake and food, got the shake after 40 minutes and didn't get the food. We just left and paid for the shake, without having the food. The manager accused us for not reminding the waiter although we asked 3 times what's going on. It's OK to make mistakes and that they forgot the order, really didn't like the way he accused us.

We only ate at the beach front resturant which was super. Food was great and very reasonably priced. Really pleased they they also served with no plastic! (Resusable straws etc)

Very lovely place. It's serene and away from the busy area. They serve delicious food and shakes. Will come back next time I'm in Tao ❤️

This is truly a memorable place. It's not luxurious or pretentious, it's simply beautiful and well managed. Our first reaction was unanimous, we didn't plan enough time this trip, we must come back. The food is amazing, especially if you love seafood. I've tried the salad, the fried rice and the mixed veggies, all with seafood. Excellent dishes. We rented a scooter to get here. The road is not for the faint hearted. The slopes are quite steep.

I ordered a hamburger at this restaurant and found a live caterpillar in the lettuce. It was crawling around in the lettuce. It was an extremely disgusting. I've never experienced anything like this before. When I told the staff, they didn't even apologize and just asked if I wanted to order something else. When I mentioned I couldn't pay for the food, the staff's expression turned sour. This restaurant is very unhygienic and their service was really bad. I do not recommend this restaurant.
