The Post Hotel Dining Room is not your average hotel dining room. It is a first class restaurant, in terms of atmosphere, food, and service.
Our waiter Sylvain was very professional, and in the course of the evening as the restaurant became less busy, and when asked told us quite a bit about where he came from and his experiences.
We were still feeling the effects of an enourmous lunch, and had even contacted the restaurant to move back our reservatioin by an hour which they did for us. Hence we stuck to lighter things on the menu - including the Octopus Confit - an interesting dish that was delicious, the Pan Seared Deep Sea Scallops that were cooked to perfection, and the Pan Seared Sea Bream Filet.
The dining room included a wall of wine, which was only a portion of the wine offerings. Downstairs was a complete wine cellar, that we just caught a glimpse of when walking by the stairway.
The restaurant has won a number of awards, including the DiRōNA Award of Excellence in 2025.
