Posta Design Hotel

The location is great, but the room was horrendous. It smelled like old, cooked cabbage 🤢 no complimentary coffee in Italy?! I paid over $800 for 2 nights and we didn’t get a WINDOW. The staff was nice, but that didn’t make up for being in this poor excuse for a “luxury “ room. I’ve stayed in youth hostels better than this. Do not recommend. There are plenty of other places in Como. 👎🏼

Loved the location right at a square with close proximity to shops and restaurants.|Staff service excellent. We arrived at lunchtime and was recommended a list of restaurants which obviously were good as most were fully booked. We tried about 3 of them and were pleased by the recommendation.|The hotel has a restaurant which is quite convenient for late dinners after a long day of sightseeing. Food was quite decent.|We found our room a bit small and were disappointed by the lack of a kettle and coffee machine. We only learnt after a few days that we could request for hot water at the restaurant to bring up. There wasn’t a safe either. The bathroom was long and narrow with insufficient hanging rails/hooks. All said, it was still quite functional. |Room facilities were a bit meagre but the biggest compensation must be its excellent location at a lovely square.

Perfect location, very central. Very nice room, modern and with very good quality amenities. The cafe and pastries were delicious, and the staff very friendly and professional. Very happy to have booked in this hotel. Highly recommend.

The hotel was clean and very well maintained. The bed was great and comfortable. We had the room in the attic. I would say it’s slightly less than what I would have expected for the price given that we didn’t have any windows looking out.The location was fantastic. Super close to the lake and really nice restaurants. Furthermore, the train station was also a 5 minute walk away should you need it.Would’ve been nice if the breakfast was included and/or reasonably priced.

Great location on the Alessandro Volta square, very close to the lake side and Cathedral. The room was beautifully clean and the Aircon was great. The bedding and towels were changed every morning and the toiletries and bottles of water were replaced daily. The staff were all helpful and friendly. In the evening the tables outside were great to relax and enjoy cocktails and snacks, which were great, to watch the world go by. Would definitely recommend as a lovely hotel and a great location.

We had drinks at the Restaurante Posta, outside dining area. Wow! So gorgeous. Loved the yellow booths and all the string lights. It was busy and the service was excellent.

Lovely boutique style hotel in heart of Como. The staff were friendly, in particular Alessandro and Aurora on Reception who were exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond. |Nice bistro with a nice outside seating area too. |The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I was lucky enough to have a small balcony.
