Posta Design Hotel

Great location on the Alessandro Volta square, very close to the lake side and Cathedral. The room was beautifully clean and the Aircon was great. The bedding and towels were changed every morning and the toiletries and bottles of water were replaced daily. The staff were all helpful and friendly. In the evening the tables outside were great to relax and enjoy cocktails and snacks, which were great, to watch the world go by. Would definitely recommend as a lovely hotel and a great location.

Lovely boutique style hotel in heart of Como. The staff were friendly, in particular Alessandro and Aurora on Reception who were exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond. |Nice bistro with a nice outside seating area too. |The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I was lucky enough to have a small balcony.

We were very pleased to have booked this hotel. A fantastic situation, 5 minutes walk to everything and in a very attractive square. We had a warm welcome at reception & found everyone friendly & helpful. |Our room, 104 was a generous size with superbly comfortable bed! We were right above the restaurant/bar and particularly over the weekend the square could be very noisy until the early hours. We were able to close windows which subdued the noise considerably but worth bearing in mind if noise is an issue. |Also the bathroom is adapted for disabled but water from the shower runs right across the room making it very slippery & dangerous. It’s so wet the plaster is bubbling off the wall. Apparently housekeeping/maintenance are aware of the problem but it needs sorting soon before someone has an accident.|Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Particular mention for one of the waiters, sadly we didn’t get his name, but he was the shortest. Always greeting us with a lovely smile! Thank you. The bistro is on the upper end of pricing but food was good & a lovely spot to sit for an evening cocktail.

Absolutely love this hotel. The location could not be better and the quality of the bedding etc is top notch.

This hotel is great. Ideal location, right on the square and only a few mins walk to the lake. We had breakfast here which was very good. They upgraded our room due to it being our wedding anniversary which was really kind. We had a little balcony overlooking the square, would definitely recommend room 304 if you can get it. Staff were all helpful, friendly and professional. Also sat and had a cocktail here most evenings which were delicious.

This is a lovely hotel situated near the square and close to the lake . It has a lovely buzz around the area . |The room we stayed in was very spacious , large bathroom , couch and a desk . The air conditioner worked well. We had a large wardrobe and safe in the room as well Wifi was very slow at times and you had to keep logging in , we were on the 1 st floor so it was a bit noisy with the restaurant cafe downstairs especially when the staff were closing up , bottles and rubbish getting thrown in the bin woke us .|Unfortunately there was no tea / coffee making facilities or no bar fridge . |We travelled two couple and had booked two rooms exactly the same on the same booking , but our room was very spacious with a king size bed , couch, storage area , our friends room was on the 4th floor , double bed, very small room , not much room to walk around . |I think when two rooms are booked on the same booking that the rooms should at least be of similar size and the same . Obviously we ended up with a bit of an upgrade or they didn’t get the rooms that we had booked . We all would definitely stay and recommend this hotel again as the location was amazing .|Check in was not till 2 pm , but they were happy to store our luggage when we got there until we could check in . The checkin was easy and the staff very friendly . |It is walking distance to the train station which is convenient. Just go down the road not down the stairs . |You pay a tax which is €4 per person per night .|Breakfast was not included in our rate , so we went to bliss cafe a couple of minutes away , or Mac Donald’s is about 5 minutes. Breakfast is available at the hotel . Prices are mid to high range

The hotel was clean and very well maintained. The bed was great and comfortable. We had the room in the attic. I would say it’s slightly less than what I would have expected for the price given that we didn’t have any windows looking out.The location was fantastic. Super close to the lake and really nice restaurants. Furthermore, the train station was also a 5 minute walk away should you need it.Would’ve been nice if the breakfast was included and/or reasonably priced.

Lovely experience, beautiful hotel and great location. The front desk staff was absolutely fantastic! Great housekeeping. The only negative was that several (not all) of the bar servers were super rude, or just snooty and unfriendly. It’s a real shame because the other staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
