I just loved this place and now one of my favourites though I visited for the first time for a 4 day meeting. Historical and a heritage site, it is also surrounded by important historical places like the first mosque of Istanbul, eye hospital, Galata tower, Galatahan hotel, Galata house hotel and many more. Yasar, the founder of the Postane, well known philanthropist, narrates well with history and current situation. The place has a restaurant, shop, office and meeting spaces, big conference hall and a terrace garden. Postane is a non profit institution and supports small organic produce farmers and also serves varieties of veg foods in their restaurant. I just loved all kinds of soups and coffees, the staff here are like family members. It's like home away from home. I would love to visit every time I am in Istanbul.

A true gem for vegan and vegetarian cuisine in Istanbul! The dishes are creative, nourishing, and full of authentic flavors — but the highlight for me was the cold yogurt soup. It was refreshing, perfectly balanced with herbs and spices, and absolutely ideal on a warm day. Everything we tried was fresh and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, with friendly staff. You can really feel the care that goes into each dish. Whether you’re vegan or just looking for delicious, healthy food, this place is a must-visit!

We have to come back here because the food was super good! We came a little late in the Day and they were out of some tings, but the lentil pasta dish and cheese pastry we had really delivered. super tasty! The staff was very welcoming and helpful! Rooftop garden is really beautiful and cool to se if you are interested in urban agriculture.

Lovely little place found by accident. After so much meat and breaded products we were desperate for a decent fresh salad that was a meal and not a side dish. Found this place by accident and love the ethos of what they did. It is not for picky eaters. Menu is small and based on what is available with a few choices but everything we had was so tasty. Well worth a visit. Shame we only discovered on the last day.

Very friendly place. Be sure to stop by here for lunch after visiting the Galata Tower. Delicious falafel and zucchini soup. Friendly waitress. You can go up to the platform at the top, although we were unlucky there was renovations there🥲

Real Turkish! We were excited to find this place. It was late morning, and we didn't have our breakfast as early as usual. To eat in this area, the old but well restored building caught our eyes. We thought it was a museum or a government office! A board with a list of the day's menu invited us! Upon entry, we found a clean place with warm energy. A young lady received us with a smile, which is not very common in many restaurants. The menu is simple and is changed daily, listed on a board. We ordered cheese omlet. It came warm, fresh, and quite good portion with nice salad. The dishes were clean. Water jars were on the table free of charge, with a vase of fresh aromatic daffodils. There is a shop selling organic stuff. The building is user-friendly. It has an elevator, a ramp for the wheelchair and the automatic door key at the toilets is low enough for kids and disabled on wheelchair. The toilet is clean and well equipped. The food price is reasonable. We strongly recommend visiting this esstaurant and enjoying the ambience. We will certainly return!
