Poste Garden Design Centre and Cafe

I was looking for a place to unwind on my break and saw a recommendation from WA gardeners in FB. When I checked it out, it's a gem of a place. It's like a kaleidoscope of senses where you hear the train passing nearby, the buzz of the planes passing above, then combined with the rustling sounds of the plants and decors moving with the breeze, and the buzzing bees around the garden complement the great food with warm staff serving the cafe.  I would highly recommend this place to unwind or catch up with friends and family. The cafe would definitely allow you to appreciate nature in an urban setting.

Now this is a place with more than a double meaning. Whereas we went there for a brunch, we ended up strolling the garden. The garden café is what it says a café inside a garden, as tables were placed among the plants. Very accurate in keeping up with the tone, the menu is French inspired, soups, pies, toasties, few types of omelettes. I had the most amazing omelette with goat cheese and salad and I walked around the garden statues and garden décor items. Amazing place and such a positive atmosphere. Lovely place and friendly staff!

Such a beautiful little spot! Enjoyed a coffee date amongst the plants and greenery. The people working there were so lovely and let my toddler feed the fish.

What a hidden gem! The menu is packed with yummy comfort food and coffee is delicious. So many gorgeous cakes to choose from too. Staff are friendly and warm.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Atmosphere ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Customer Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Food & Drinks ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Value This cafe / garden store is so cute, from the heritage building to the jungle of plants & pots, water features and then to the customer service it's all so so calming, vintage & super sweet. Thought it was a little pricey for what was ordered but then I tasted it all and it was devine! The toastie had proper chunks of ham, cheese inside and out plus a salad, the carrot cake was perfectly moist and the coffee was roasted to perfection (it's the little details & flavor that matters) - can't wait to come back. Thank you for the hospitality!

The garden setting is beautiful, and the cakes and the coffee are delicious. Only critique would be that some of the menu food is overpriced, paying $26 for an omelette seemed a little too much. All in all, well worth a visit.

This place is an absolute gem 💎 The atmosphere of the garden is great 👍 all tables are 2 m apart or more surrounded with plants. The staff are friendly and the food is ok. There's a large choice of teas.

What an absolute pleasure this visit was. Everything a beautiful cafe should be and yet so much more. Oozing in history, yet so pleasantly natural and peaceful in the beautiful tranquil cafe gardens. I had the front courtyard all to myself, which was lovely, where the back was bustling with life, if that’s more your thing. So many delicious treats to enjoy, and a fantastic French menu. Again, coffee was brilliant, but it was the service which was the highlight. So much love and care. Their clear aim, to bring you the best experience. Top spot to visit for a relaxing coffee in Guildford!
