I love the vibes of this place. Excellent happy hour selection of snacks and drink! The team is very friendly, warm hospitality, atmosphere is great. Good music to chill, the Deep fries juicy and crispy artichoke And the white anchovies were delicious and unique. The wine by the glass was great and very reasonable price, from sparkling to the red, all worth to try. Highly recommend. 👍

Is been awhile since the last time I came to posto Pubblico, came here this time for my birthday celebration. 🕺🏼 And it didn’t disappoint ! Everything was so on point, very delicious at reasonable price, very good value! And I was really appreciated with their hearty hospitality! They said they gonna make my day special when I made the reservation, and they really did!!! All the staffs were friendly and they even treat us few shots and the linguini with clams was on the house!! ❤️ First of all, I love their gnocco Frito, sooooo yum, is a deep fried bread with tomatoe dipping sauce! And we ordered lots food, their signature rigatoni Pubblico and farfalle, my all time favourite, cooked to perfect al dente and packed with sauce, I couldn’t stop eating them. Spicy clam with green chilli was super flavourful too, my fd even wanted to reorder ! The skillet pizza must order too, both fungi tartufo (cream base) and bronx bomber were bomb! The crust was so crispy and so chewy inside. Garlic bread and meat balls were my favourite too… and we also tried the daily special on the board, black cod and steak, both cooked perfectly! The cod was deep fried, so crispy outside and tender inside. The steak was well seasoned and super succulent, my fds devoured it in one second. 😂 Overall, I’m so glad that I picked this place for my bday celebration with my fds! I love how their food all packed with flavour, and the ambiance is nice, plus the service was superb! And I have to mention that we all love their music choice! Good taste in music 🤣 from old school hip hop to the most updated ones.. such great vibe! So I Highly recommend this place, especially good for bday celebration with a group! I miss their pasta and the fritto already! ❤️🕺🏼 $4xx ppl with 3 bottles of wine (8ppl) such great deal

The food here is really good quality, and that can't necessarily be said for other similar restaurants in the area. Not only is it delicious it also tastes fresh, which is rare in Hong Kong. Staff were also great and the drinks selection is good. The one downside was the price, we had four small dishes and a couple of drinks that came to $850 - not quite daylight robbery considering the location and good quality but it did nonetheless feel a little pricey.

Service were great, feel pity for the staff that need to work with no air conditioning. We ordered meatball, roasted egg plants, cacio e pepe, chicken alla vodka pizza and a mock tail. We feel like the foods were below average and disappointing. The pasta sauce for cacio e pepe was way too thick, straight up felt like just cheese and pasta, pasta itself felt store-bought too. The pizza crust was way too hard and doesn’t match with its price. Overall just disappointed with the food and would not recommend ppl to dine. There are way more better options nearby

Meatballs are a MUST TRY. The veal meatballs are possibly the best I have ever had. The are exquisite. Pasta is homemade and that was what made the lobster bollo spaghetti amazing. (obviously the sauce was pretty good too) Pizza is a Chicago type pizza so if that is not your cup of tea, stick to the pastas! Service is 11/10. Bianca was the best and even did some limoncello shots with us!! Great experience!

We were looking forward to a good meal here after reading the reviews and on the recommendation of a colleague. We loved the decor, with the small booths along the wall with a view of the open kitchen. Service was pretty attentive. Foodwise, we felt rather let down. The calamari was very fresh and went well with the aioli/tartare sauce, though it could have been deep fried a little more. But that is a personal preference. We ordered the eggplant pizza (Brooklyn?), and the veal meatballs with pasta. The meatballs were pretty good, but both dishes were just too salty. We would also recommend freeing up the entrance, as entering and leaving is difficult if there are people sitting at the two tables at the door.

Came here for a Saturday night cozy dinner. Greeted with warm bread sprinkled with cheese. Then we ordered a burrata from the specials and a braised octopus as antipasti, both very satisfying and tasty. After that we got a mushroom pizza, a linguini vongole, and a chicken parmagiania for main. The pizza was flavourful and the chicken was tender. The pasta was a bit undercooked and the clams were underwhelming. Finally a chocolate cake as desert and it was incredibly rich, tense and moist. Overall we were very satisfied. Thumbs up.

Excellent lunch place. Lunch starts off with lovely warm cheesy bread, paired with a glass of crisp white wine. Then we had a cesar salad, kale salad and eggplant on toast. I really enjoyed the kale salad. For the mains, we chose the crispy chicken sandwich and the vongole. Both options were great tasting, and generous in portion size. The staff were friendly and warm, excellent service there.

Posto Pubblico has been a mainstay in Hong Kong for Italian for years. The food here is really solid. Food: 4 stars Environment/service: 4 stars Value: 3 stars Recommendations: organic vegetables, white clam linguini The pasta here is what to get and in my opinion is better than the pizza. The pizza is cooked in a cast iron pan, which gives you a nice crispy crust. I prefer the wood fire oven cooling style and a more chewy crust. The pricing is on the high side but is in line with Hong Kong. I would expect to pay between 200-250 hkd per person. If ordering the more high end proteins then it will be more.

Still on point. This place is such an amazing place. Food is super good. Wine selection is awesome. Vice is super cool, relaxed, but fun. Music is perfect Top dishes Eggplant parm Chicken parm Burrata Spaghetti and veal meatballs

This is a gem that we were lucky to find among all the other Italian options in Soho. Really easy to find, and luckily we got there early (6:30) because they were able to seat us and it filled up. I went with the Caprese and the Bucatini, both were very good. The service was fast and friendly. The interior has a cool casual vibe with a lot of dark wood, chalkboard menus, bar seating up front, and a cozy dining room in back. In addition to the great food, a full bar, big wine list, and I'm sure to be back in the future!

Great eggplant parm, meatballs, pizza and chocolate cake. The beer is really cold and the service was over the top. Great spot. Give them a try!

Food was exceptional with simple dishes executed perfectly(Red Sauce!) and portioned generously. Curated wine list with 3 tiers of pricing and a solid recommendation from the staff. HK gives you too many choices to repeat even an above average meal, but I'll go here again.

Clearly Posto Pubblico is doing something right because half a year later I'm STILL dreaming about coming back for their pastas and desserts! From the atmosphere to the food and service, everything here is the definition of luxurious comfort. I love how they don't try to be fancy with presentation and plating, yet every dish is unspeakably delicious. The atmosphere is lively and sophisticated yet also intimate and comfortable. The servers are genuinely friendly and service is what you'd expect of fine dining. Somehow, all the elements of this restaurant just strike the perfect balance. I'm pretty sure you can close your eyes and pick anything off the menu and it'd taste amazing but my fave is the Farfalle Salsiccia ($168 HKD). Slightly pricey but it's cooked to perfection and so hearty. Oh, and don't skip out on dessert! The NY raspberry cheesecake is heavenly. They make all of their desserts in-house and it really shows because everything tastes fresh. Love love LOVE. Highly recommend!

This restaurant has been highly recommended by my friend, since he's part of the Posto Publicco, Stone Nullah Tavern, and Linguini Fini family. I love Italian food so I've been wanting to try this place for some time. I came with my aunt this past Wednesday, on a red thunderstorm night (!!!), thinking we wouldn't need a reservation since it's thunder storming outside but boy were we in for a surprised. They were completely full house, even on a RED thunderstorm. Thus I thought to myself, this place must be good if people are still venturing out on a rainy day! Nevertheless, we were able to get a seat by the entrance of the restaurant and had an enjoyable dinner. Jeff helped seat us and he was super friendly. He knows Morgan and was glad I ended up choosing to come to Posto instead of Linguini Fini the night I went (since I was debating between the two for dinner!). Posto first starts off giving you a plate of cheese, cherry tomatoes, and sliced meat with bread while you look through the menu. Being vegetarian, I ended up getting their caprese (basil, tomatoes, and burrata), beet salad, and pasta verde. I had also ordered the homegrown greens but half way through eating the caprese and beet salad, my aunt and I agreed that we were already getting pretty full and thus they kindly let us cancel the homegrown greens. The burrata in the caprese was delicious! It was so good and complemented the tomatoes and basil very well. I really liked this dish. I added the cheese to the bread that they served in the beginning and then would take bites of the tomato and basil afterwards. The only thing I would change is adding more bail in between the sandwiched tomatoes. You don't get a piece of basil in between every layer. I personally think it would taste even better if they add a piece of basil between each tomato. But nevertheless, the caprese is super tasty and I would totally get it again. The beet salad comes with beets, spinach, red peppers, and goat cheese. The beets are bright redish purple and tasted super fresh. Everything together had good flavors together, extremely tasty like the caprese. I actually liked mixing the two together and eating it side by side. The vegetable pasta was really good as well! It came with cauliflower, bell peppers, carrots, parsley, etc. I was already full by this point but kept wanting to eat more! It got to the point where I did stopped and decided I'd pack it and eat it for lunch the next day. Everything here is tasty! And the service is good. I can't wait to come back and eat more of Posto's yummy food. Tip - Posto does not automatically add on tip. They believe in tipping accordingly to the service you get, so remember to add / give the tip before you leave!

Posto was one of the first restaurants I tried when I officially moved to Hong Kong, and despite the plethora of amazing places to try in the area, I still continue to return. But why? Is it the New York Italian theme they got going on? (For those who don't know, I still have a sliver of NY in me as I went to uni and worked there for 4 years after.) Is it the friendly servers? Perhaps it's the close proximity to my dwelling? Most likely, it's the consistently good food quality that you receive, no matter what you order. Their fresh mozzarella is their specialty so definitely order any antipasti that features it; I'm partial to their Caprese salad. For pastas, I've tried their cacio e pepe and lasagna- both delicious. For lunch, their eggplant parm hit the spot. Desserts are not to be forgotten- their NY style cheesecake with raspberry sauce is the perfect ending to your hearty Italian meal!

Stopped here for a couple of drinks. Beers are like.. US, taste and price wise. The atmosphere was good, super chill, and suitable for grabbing a beer and bringing your laptop for the afternoon. Food was super mediocre though, so I would avoid.

Great Starters, great service. Pass on the pasta ... but if you're passing on the pasta, then why have Italian at all? Kitchen is pretty heavy handed with lemon - basically killing both pasta dishes we ordered. Disappointing considering our starters were so promising. Pass!

Italian food is a wonderful fare when you're hungry for a hearty meal, and Posto Pubblico delivers. Set up like a New York style Italian bistro, Posto offers a nice variety of appetizers including cheesy garlic bread, arrancini and antipasti platters. I did not order from their great looking selection of sandwiches like the classic Italian and a meatball parmigiana, but I look forward to trying them. I ordered a pasta dish that was a combination of two dishes on the menu and they happily obliged. A definite plus for service. The pasta was hot and fresh, but the overall presentation (including appetizer and salad) left a lot to be desired. Overall a pleasant experience.

Posto Pubblico easily has some of the best pasta I've had in my life. I got the rigatoni pubblico, which was rigatoni with a beef and pork ragu. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce was delicious. I also tried one of their non alcoholic cocktails, the Summertime, which was a wonderful blend of raspberries, ginger beer, honey and other fantastic flavors. In addition, the service was great and the restaurant as a whole has a quaint and elegant atmosphere. If you're looking for a nice spot for dinner in Hong Kong, I definitely recommend Posto Pubblico.

Let me tell you. This place is a gem. Food - 5 Ambiance - 5 Wine list - 4 Play list - 4 Service - 7 So we got pizza, rigatoni, spaghetti & meatballs, spinach, cabrese, and Chianti Classico reserva. Shared it all family style. Oh oh, Dolce. Chocolate cake and almond cake. Outbloodystanding! Really a great find. Enjoy!

Good Italian food - best you will find in Hong Kong. I got a rigatoni with vodka sauce, but the pasta was undercooked and the red sauce was only Ok. My husband got a spaghetti with meatballs which had an even worse pasta sauce. We got an eggplant appetizer which was absolutely amazing, and I was sad the red sauce hadn't been used for our pasta sauces. The best part of the eggplant dish was absolutely the ricotta filling. We came at 7:15pm on a Thursday night without a reservation and we were told that we could be seated if we ate and left in under 45 minutes. It was absolutely fine to be rushed, but I got the feeling that service and food would have been slow if they hadn't been motivated to move us along. Service was a little rude, but then again we didn't have a reservation and apparently they were going to get a lot of people coming at 8pm.

I've been going to Posto since before I moved to HK permanently. Four years later, it's still my go-to when I'm craving Italian food. It's a bit pricy, sure, but you're paying for the quality and farm-to-table ingredients on which Homegrown prides itself. I don't care that some say it's not authentic Italian dishes like in Italy but more of an Italian-American style, but the food is good and reliable and that's what matters to me. I'm always trying new places, but am all too often disappointed and end up crawling back to Posto with my tail between my legs for their classics. I've been all over the menu, but I must give a special shout out to the sandwiches because they are insanely good. I've been coming for the Chicken Cutlet and the Brooklyn sandwiches since 2011 - even after the Brooklyn was removed from the menu temporarily for a couple years (thankfully it's back on now) we were given the 'ok' to order if off the menu. With the new additions to the sandwich menu, I would tell myself visit after visit "I'll try a new one next time" but when every 'next time' arrived I just couldn't neglect that incredibly juice, breaded, chicken cutlet. Today though, I was feeling particularly adventurous. It was tough, as I teetered back and forth between my regular and all of the new options, each of which sounded like a delicious combination of ingredients. But finally, I closed my eyes and ordered the De Blasio (grilled chicken with kale and fresh mozzarella). I figured worse case scenario if it doesn't fulfill the legacy of the chicken cutlet sandwich, I order a second sandwich (they're only "half" anyways) and the universe is right again. I danced around with the trusty salad for a few bites, too anxious to approach the new sandwich that lay before me. The familiar crunch of the bread welcomed an even juicier chicken breast with garlic sautéed kale. And on top of that, it's even healthier because it's grilled and not fried (as if that really mattered!). The scariest part is now next time when I have yet another sandwich to decide among.

Arrived at Hong Kong and we were looking for a good Italian restaurant. We liked the reviews we saw in Yelp didn't really care for the bad review we saw in Tripadvisor. Truly great friendly staff, the food was delicious and you must try the garlic bread :)

Great tasty food and drinks, it is in the higher range of price but worth it for the location, it is in. Super fun vibe and staff are really friendly.

I have no idea why this place has 5 star reviews. I just had a meal that redefined mediocrity, I wasn't out to experience a culinary masterpiece - just had a yen for some good Italian food at a reasonable price. And the prices are not outrageous - but it's hardly good. Service mediocre, food mediocre... it's not a restaurant - it's a bar that happens to serve food. Viewed through that lens it's ok. But only just.

Yelp didn't do me wrong again. This was an amazing find in the Soho area where there are many choices. My reservation for 6 was promptly kept for 8pm on a Saturday night when they were booked solid. Much appreciated. Appetizers came out in lighting speed and were all good. Italian cheese bread and veal meatballs were excellent. Dinner for me was Carbonara. Outstanding!! Everyone had something different and all were excellent! Service was excellent and servers were very friendly. Loved it!!

More like a pub than fine dining. Service was A+. Food was an 8. Ambience was a 2. Played rap music all night at concert levels. Could not talk or hear each other.

I got a really good lunch here with my friends! They had a great deal on free flow wine and my eggplant parm sandwich is delicious. Also, I definitely recommend the chocolate cake for dessert...yum!

Never disappoints. This place is as reliable as you can get in a restaurant that strives to find fresh ingredients and cook authentic Italian dishes from scratch. Had the chicken cacciatore again and it was as delicious as ever. The portion is very generous with 1/2 chicken grilled to perfection and topped with the best tomato pepper mushroom sauce I've had. I love this place. The staff is outstanding. The place is comfortable and inviting. Can't wait to come back soon

I'm visiting HK for a holiday. While I love all the HK/Chinese dishes, I was craving something different. Had dinner at the bar. Terrific food and service! Bolognese pasta was tasty and the service was spot on. Good option if you are staying in the Central or mid-escalators district.

A friend who used to live in HK said that this was one of her favorite places, so I gave it a whirl. It did not disappoint, and really gave me a taste of quality Italian food I have been missing being away from the states. It has a really nice atmosphere, very open, big, and warm. You can look into the kitchen and see them cooking, which I always like. We were immediately greeted by the manager, who knew my friend, and away we went. Started with a nice merlot, and had the veal meatballs (A MUST HAVE) the risotto balls, the pumpkin pasta with meat sauce (a special of the night) and a steak. We shared a chocolate cake, which my friend loved, but again with most desserts I find in Asia just aren't sweet enough for my American sugar addiction. Everything was excellent, seriously, nothing I tried I did not love. Great atmosphere, excellent service, prices that didn't kill us, and great vibe. Can't wait to go back either for brunch or dinner again!

This place was amazing. I cannot say enough great things. Food was phenomenal and drinks were amazing. The service was outstanding. I will make a point to comeback every time I'm in Hong Kong!

Made reservations day of for 6 Americans for Saturday night. For our first trip to HK this place was great! The area alone is so cool. The restaurant was excellent. Great service, manager and server alike exceeded expectations and very attentive. The prices were incredible for the quality. Meal highlights: asparagus special appetizer (SO GOOD), farfalle pasta, the corn appetizer (BEST DISHHH!) the cold pumpkin appetizer. Con: No pizza and limited beer selection (only 4 choices). The only cons I can think of!
