Pot Sticker Dumpling House - Hobart

Tonight we ordered a few share plates, there was so much variety on the menu, it felt a bit like Yum Cha! Good prices too. And love the table QR code for ordering, saves time and got to relax rather than having to queue.

It was truly delicious and great value for money. My family kept praising me for finding such a great place. The food came out quickly, and the gentleman who seemed to be the owner was extremely kind and friendly. We will definitely visit again before our trip ends in Hobart.

Came here during my Hobart trip after a friend’s recommendation. Tried the pork dumplings and pork fried rice, both were absolutely delicious!!!! I got takeaway, and the service was quick and the staff were really kind. The dumplings were perfectly crispy and full of flavour. Highly recommend!

Having constantly seen advertising on the rear end of Metro buses I thought it waz finally time to give in. It wasn't very busy when I got there so there was no waiting to be seated. The place looked cleaned and neat and the staff were friendly enough. I decided I try the Beef Noodle Soup (the advertising worked as that was the main picture...plus it was cold outside and the dish looked warm and inviting). I did have my heart on a their egg custard dumplings but was informed that they didn't have any so I settled for a couple of pork minced dumplings instead. To wash it all down I ordered the raspberry watermelon sprtiz (going through a phase it seems). It all came to about $35. Waiting time for the food was reasonable and the food was delicious. If you plan to go during busier times I'd advise booking ahead as there's only so much seating so you could be standing outside for a table to free up.

The friendly and helpful staff made our dining experience a great one! The BBQ pork and Sweet and Sour pork meals were both delicious, and generously portioned. The crispy buns with condensed milk were an excellent dessert! The service was prompt even though they were very busy, with all tables occupied and a constant stream of customers ordering takeaways.

We had dinner here today and ordered Mongolian beef, black pepper beef and curry beef. Everything was way too sweet (and too bland other than sweet) to our taste. The pork dumplings were average. The self-serviced chilli oil was the highlight of our meal. The restaurant is not super clean. Table was sticky with a bit of smell if you are seated close to the counter/kitchen area. Service is slow but acceptable. If you expect authentic Chinese food, you would be disappointed, but their food is probably what the local community likes as the restaurant was packed during peak hours, so have to say it’s all personal opinions.

The best thing is there is traditional Chinese chilli sauce (photo 3). It perfectly matches the fried rice and dumplings!
