"If spending the day lounging on idyllic white sands and swimming in cerulean seasaren't enough without some snuggle time with adorable puppies, plan a visit to Potcake Place, in Grace Bay. This volunteer-run nonprofit is dedicated to rescuing andfinding adoptive homes for local dogs, most of which are a regional breed called "potcakes." The center has around 50 dogs in foster care at any given time andplaces about 500 per year. Visitors can stop by the shelter, located in Salt Mills Plaza, to help socialize the dogs by taking them out for a day on the beach. A kit with food, leash, and other items is provided."

I wish we had gone there multiple days! The place is awesome staff is great. Process is easy- you walk in hangout with puppies and they let you take a puppy for walk. They provide you everything leash treat poop bags.. all you give is TLC! And get back snuggles. Great service folks! Spreading the love and joy around the island!

i went to the island with my family and i have absolutely nothing bad to say about Potcake Place! i love everything about it! the pups are just so sweet and loving. we took out Bridget for the day and then Rudolph. so sweet!

This place was great! The staff are all so kind and loving. The puppies are adorable. Please donate to this organization. They help so many pups find forever homes all around the world. We went late but you are able to take a pup for a walk out on the beach or just around town when they open. Get there early, there is a line. Also, from 2-4 you are able to cuddle and hold.

I absolutely love the whole concept of this rescue!!! They allow you to take a puppy out for walkies and to interact with them! They give you a little tote bag with all the necessities for your puppy! Ball, poo bags, water, water bowl! We loved this experience so much!!

This is an amazing K9 rescue on Turks and Caicos. The staff work incredibly hard, with lots of love to care for the potcake dogs. Visitors are allowed to take a dog out for a walk. The staff provide treats, water and everything you need. You are asked to take the dog for at least 30 minutes, but can have a dog for up to a few hours. It's a great way to do some good and also helps if you are missing your own dog while on vacation.

This center does amazing work and the staff are so friendly. My girlfriend and I went on a Monday morning to volunteer for the daily puppy walks the center offers. We got to spend 3 hours with our pup and they gave all the necessary supplies we would need to take care of the little puppy. Definitely suck out this place for the great work they do and provide for the dogs!
