I absolutely love the whole concept of this rescue!!! They allow you to take a puppy out for walkies and to interact with them! They give you a little tote bag with all the necessities for your puppy! Ball, poo bags, water, water bowl! We loved this experience so much!!

This place was great! The staff are all so kind and loving. The puppies are adorable. Please donate to this organization. They help so many pups find forever homes all around the world. We went late but you are able to take a pup for a walk out on the beach or just around town when they open. Get there early, there is a line. Also, from 2-4 you are able to cuddle and hold.

This is an amazing K9 rescue on Turks and Caicos. The staff work incredibly hard, with lots of love to care for the potcake dogs. Visitors are allowed to take a dog out for a walk. The staff provide treats, water and everything you need. You are asked to take the dog for at least 30 minutes, but can have a dog for up to a few hours. It's a great way to do some good and also helps if you are missing your own dog while on vacation.

My husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon in Providenciales. This was our second time on the island and we never heard of PotCake Place K9 rescue. Prior to leaving for our trip, our church had us begin a 28 “cleanse” of everything that could be distracting in our life & to be more present in the moment so we can hear better of what God is calling us to do. When arriving to our villa from the beach on day 1, my husband and I began talking about fostering a dog when we got home to the states (we have been talking about adopting another dog for 2 years). We were in the kitchen getting something to drink, moments later, 2 island dogs appeared at our sliding glass door of our island villa. Now like I said we have visited before, and never once saw these dogs on the property. We fed them and gave them company and then they ran off. The next day, as we were eating breakfast in the morning, a small cat appeared, super friendly, just wanting food and love. The day after, another friendly cat appeared. If we had been on our phones or distracted with the TV we would have missed these visits from our fury island friends. That’s when we realized that this is more than ironic, this was a message from God. So we began looking up rescues and found POTCAKE Place. We saw they allowed walking dogs from 10-1230 so we decided, why not let’s go spend some time with these babies. We arrived to POTCAKE Rescue and there are SO MANY PRECIOUS PUPS, that are just yearning for affection and love. The staff is so incredibly nice and sweet and they take really great care of these babies to the best of their ability and resources. They don’t pressure you for donations and genuinely just want the pups to be loved and socialized for a small period of the day. It helps them out immensely when you’re able to take a pup out for a little while and the pups love it too! We got to walk “Bo” who we now call Kaico-Bo and instantly fell in love with her. We knew right there from the first walk, that she was meant to be ours and we instantly fell in love. Before the walk, the rescue gave us a little bag with treats, toy, water and water bowl and poo poo bags for our 3 hours together. POTCAKE Place helped us in every way on getting her home to the states with us but they definitely did their due diligence and made sure we were absolutely 1000% sure we wanted to take her and keep her forever. FYI- There is a new CDC regulation requiring the puppies to be 6 months old prior to adoption and travel into the USA. This is causing a massive build up in the volume of dogs at POTCAKE Place and they are having to turn some pups away because of the lack of room. I urge you who is reading this to sign the petition to the CDC to reverse this regulation due to island being a rabies free island. After much discussion & preparation with the help of the rescue, Kaico-Bo is home with us, with her new American Eskimo brother and her Staffy Bull Terrier sister & loving every minute in her new home & loves doing zoomies in her new backyard. We can’t say enough great things about this organization. Please donate to their wonderful cause!! There are so many island dogs on the island that have no homes & no one to love them. There is massive development on the island as well, as we heard that the property owners are finding liters of puppies in bushes and brush and killing them because they don’t want dogs on their properties. It’s so devastating but this place tries to help as much as they can & gives these poor angels a real chance. Any donation big or small helps the rescue take care of these babies. POTCAKE Place you are forever a part of our family & we can’t thank you enough for what you do for these sweet fury angel babies. Thank You God for opening our eyes free from distractions and leading us to POTCAKE Place because now we have our new special POTCAKE girl, Kaico-Bo. We are forever grateful!

This center does amazing work and the staff are so friendly. My girlfriend and I went on a Monday morning to volunteer for the daily puppy walks the center offers. We got to spend 3 hours with our pup and they gave all the necessary supplies we would need to take care of the little puppy. Definitely suck out this place for the great work they do and provide for the dogs!

It was a lovely experience!! All the workers were incredibly welcoming and kind, but they shouldn’t let people walk the puppies under such extreme heat! I “walked” a puppy(I brought jasper into stores with air conditioning and he fell right asleep on me), and lastly they need better air conditioning for the dogs, I saw a few over heated. Overall I hope that all animal lovers who come to this facility will adopt and donate!! ✨

Potcake Place K9 Rescue is more than just a place to visit—it's an amazing cause that I had the privilege of being a part of. The experience was truly rewarding and left a lasting impact on me. The staff at Potcake Place K9 Rescue is beyond wonderful. They are incredibly nice and helpful, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. They have a genuine passion for what they do and their dedication to the well-being of the puppies is evident. Speaking of the puppies, they are a delight to be around. Despite their challenging backgrounds, they are surprisingly well-behaved and full of love. Interacting with them was a joy, and the connection formed during the visit was heartwarming. One thing that stood out to me about Potcake Place K9 Rescue is their approach to donations. They provide you with everything you need to care for the puppies during your visit, and they are not pushy when it comes to asking for donations. Their focus is on creating a positive experience and raising awareness about their cause. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area. It's an opportunity to support an incredible cause, interact with adorable puppies, and leave with a sense of fulfillment. Potcake Place K9 Rescue is making a difference in the lives of these precious animals, and being a part of it is truly special.

What an awesome organization! We volunteered to socialize a Potcake puppy one morning. It was so fun, certainly didn’t feel like volunteering, the puppy made our day! Definitely DO THIS and please make a donation a when you do. These are awesome people doing amazing work to take care of these pups. Our girl was partially blind and had burn marks from either someone throwing something on her or sleeping under a hot car. But despite that she was the most loving pup. I really wish we could adopt her but we have a dog at home that insists on being an only child. But when the time is right, we would be thrilled to adopt from Potcake Place. Keep up the amazing work!
