Made my 11 year old Protifec as good as new! Id never had it serviced in over 10 years of ownership of my espresso machine and these folks serviced it and its like having a brand new machine. the machine is making rich creama shots again! Thank you!

When I had a problem with my ECM espresso machine barely able to produce steam for frothing, I knew that I did no want to ship it back to Whole Latte Love for repair, and found Potomac Coffee. They diagnosed and solved my problem efficiently, with a clear repair estimate, and prompt service. It is now working perfectly. It was definitely worth the trip from Maryland out towards Leesburg.

We own a restaurant in Washington DC and are using Potomac Coffee for almost 8 years. There product is superb, we love the TAC coffee for our filter coffees and Manuel for our specialty espresso drinks. A lot of our guests compliment our coffee and are asking for the brand and where they can purchase it. Besides having great products (we are also getting teas and Chai from Potomac Coffee) their customer service is outstanding, which is hard to find these days! No minimums, next day deliveries, they also lend you the espresso and drip brew machine if you purchase their product. The repair team is great as well, whenever we had an issue with a machine, it was resolved within 24 hours. I'm glad we found Potomac coffee, a small family owned company which we will continue to support. You should definitely check them out and give them a try!

If you live in the DC Baltimore region and plan to buy a machine consider the benefits of doing business with a local retailer, service center, and friendly - helpful staff before going to a store with an ecommerce approach.

Highly recommend this place - staff are professional, helpful and courteous…and quick turnaround, too. I needed a particular switch for my old Expobar Lever, and the machine was back in my hands in two days. We’re lucky to have them in our area!!

I left the guy a voicemail three days ago and never heard back! Potomac coffee repaired my manual coffee machine. It took them almost three weeks to get the part. But keep in mind; This is the only company which could repair my machine two hundred miles around Washington!!!

Tom's team fixed up our vintage Rancillio good as new. After a month fighting with bad espresso, we realized we needed professional help. Turns out shipping a Miss Silvia would be half the cost of a new machine! I'm glad we found Potomac Coffee nearby. Tom's team diagnosed it and had it fixed in a week or two, at a reasonable price, and now it's as good as new. And we're no longer suffering withdrawal.

It is hard to get espresso machine repair people & as a result we could not serve espresso for 2 Weeks. I did everything to find a company that could help us. Finally based on recommendation from one of our Food supplier, I called Potomac Coffee and they came in and checked our La Cimbali machine and told me About the need to change the Motherboard & provided an estimate to do the job. I agreed and they changed The Motherboard by bringing in a new one.They happen to charge us way less than what they had estima- ted. I would still been happy if I paid 3 times more.these people will have my business for ever and I will also purchase our espresso beans from them. Highly recommended. In short, I took my expresso machine to him for repair. I told him that it was either the electronics board or the pump. When dropping off the machine I asked him if he had an electronics professional on staff and he said he didn't. (I should have walked out at that point but I didn't.) He charged me a $35.00 drop off fee and I left. He called me a few weeks later and told me that he was not able to repair the machine. When I asked him what the issue was, he stated that the problem was with the electronics board and there was nothing wrong with the pump. (Parenthetically, I'm thinking the following: he doesn't have an electronics professional on staff but he was able to conclude that it was the board that was the issue. Are you with me on this so far?). So I drove out from Arlington to pick up my machine, which is an hour round trip and of course the fee on the green highway, the gas and my time. This is my second round trip along with the associated personal costs. Here's where everything falls apart. I begin contacting espresso repair shops nationwide and someone says to me, buy x, y, z pump from us and if it works, great, if it doesn't you can return it. Guess what? It was the pump that was bad and now my machine works. You can draw your own conclusions from what transpired but there's no other conclusion. The owner is a deceitful business owner or a moron. Take your pick. When I wrote my first honest review here on yelp, he saw it and responded with something that had nothing to do with our transaction and Yelp pulled my review and said I'd need more detail on my review. He did, however, refund my $35.00 fee but not my time, gas or highway fees. So here I am again letting people know about this guy, Tom Fasolo, and his company, Potomac Coffee Company. My bottom line review is this guy only knows how to pull components out of certain types of espresso machines and replaces parts until he replaces the right part that makes the machine work. How else could he be in business without an electronics professional. In addition, when I dropped off my espresso machine, I also dropped off a bean grinder that stopped working. His comment about not repairing my grinder was that he couldn't figure out how to take it apart. Yea, you read that right. Yelp, if you delete my review again, I'll never use you again for anything. Note: This is the second time I've posted this story about this guy because Yelp asked me to be more specific about what transpired. Interestingly enough, the owner responded to my first posting with a bunch of garbage that he invented and that never occurred. So I suspect he'll do the same with this posting. He is obviously a very sick puppy. Pro trump anti masker? This guy is a bonafide nut case.

I seldom choose to review a business, but in this case i feel that i have to recognize the help that Potomac Coffee Espresso Machine has provided for my French Restaurant. I have used them 2 times & both times they fixed the issues.The last visit they built a pipe to replace a leaky pipe.By building the pipe, they avoided ordering from Italy & were able to save me Time & Money. I highly recommend them. First when i was searching on yelp to get help choosing a Company there were no category under Espresso Machine repair. I managed to choose Appliance repair to be able to write my review.

Potomac Coffee is the BEST!!!! Ive been in the coffee business for over 40 years and have been working with Tom, the owner at Potomac Coffee for over 20 of those years. Tom and his Company are amazing, from help with Sales of new equipment, to service and product, Potomac Coffee has everything anyone who is serious about Coffee could need/want. Recently, I needed service on my $15K Bazzera Machine from Italy and got to listen to Tom speaking Italian to someone from the Bazzera Company in Italy. You cant get that kind of help just anywhere, I wouldnt want to be in Business with out Tom & Potomac Coffee. Love me some Potomac Coffee Company

Potomac Coffee repaired my espresso machine with mixed results. The machine would not turn on so I called Potomac and they came and picked it from me. After a few days, they said it works fine. They said, We tightened some wires and now it works. Great. But after a week or so at home, it stopped working again. When I called back, they said try tightening the wires, which I did. Still did not work. Beyond that they did not offer help, tell me specifically which wire was loose, or followup, plus I could not reach them by phone. Bottom line: they did not seem interested in working on my consumer level product. Frustrating. Update: Refund received and accepted. Thanks for your honesty.

Great service! We at Cupcake Heaven have been getting delicious coffee from Potomac for our business for close to 10 years. The service is great and prompt. Delivery is done the same day, if not the second. They service our coffee equipment as well and have always done an excellent job and have backed up their work.
