Our experience at this restaurant is always great. Food is tasty and we never had a bad meal here, lot of daily lunch options, good soups... Interior is really nice and there is a lot of seating options so you will always find a table even in lunch rush. Staff is nice and attentative and will take good care of you. I have to mention that in a lunch rush our order was on the table in a matter of minutes. 👌 Recommend to visit.

Food is excellent (unless you get chips) and the beers are fresh as can be 😋 It’s expensive compared to most places in Prague but the quality is there. Staff were efficient. Charged us CZK50 for a jug of tap water …!? Watch out for that 😉 Can highly recommend the koleno (pork knuckle). It’s BIG and tasty 😋

Love the place, good atmosphere, good portions, especially the beer, it's so fresh !! It's worth a visit. The service was quick. Can't wait to go there again. Keep it up 💪🏽

This is a wonderful place! It’s a shame we discovered it at the very end of our trip to Prague. The food was very tasty, I appreciated that they serve some traditional dishes along with burgers and etc. Portions were big. Our waitress was attentive and helped us to choose the food. Thanks a lot! There is a spacious outdoor area hidden in the inner yard. You dont hear the noisy street and can relax. Really nice. So, that was just a wonderful visit. Thanks! :)

Google
TLDR; good food, fantastic beer, very reasonable prices. Friendly staff. This is factory (brewery) pub/restaurant in the building of the Staropramen mega brewery. The food menu lists five items, most are standard pub dishes. I chose the Szeged goulash with dumplings for 128 CZK (£4) and a 0.4 litre lager beer. After I placed my order I went to the toilet and when I returned to my table the food was already there. Can I complain about too quick service? The goulash was made with quality lean beef and cabbage. The flavour was somewhat bland and lacking character. I would have hoped for more sourness, more spicy bite of chilli peppers. On the up side, the dish wasn’t over salted. I gobbled up the whole dish. A very decent fast food at about the same price of McDonald’s. I’ll choose this Staropramen factory pub any time! (The inside decor of the restaurant is rather strange. The seating on high chairs is not as comfortable as one would expect.)

Limited english but the staff was very efficient. I loved the local beer as there is a brewery here. The nonalcoholic local beer was very tasty and was on tap. The food was great. The tenderloin in cream sauce was the best version we had on the trip. The mushroom soup was also excellent. The prices were very reasonable. They don't accept service charge on credit card, so make sure you have enough cash to cover the service.

The food was some of the best we tried during our visit to Prague, really good! However none of the staff spoke English almost at all, and even though they came fast with our food, when we askes for deserts we had to wait a long time (around 10 minutes) for them to come check what deserts we decided on. There was also no AC nor fans turned on, was quite hot inside.

Food was good, fresh beer, and the staff was friendly. We'll come again next Prague visit. Nice place!😁😁😁

Yelp
When it came to the menu, the restaurant truly excelled in serving authentic Czech cuisine at affordable prices. From the moment I took my first spoonful of the soup, I knew I was in for a treat. The flavors were rich and comforting, making it a perfect start to my culinary adventure. I particularly enjoyed the traditional chicken dish, which was cooked to perfection and showcased the restaurant's dedication to quality ingredients and skilled preparation. However, it was the strawberry dumplings that truly stole the show. These delectable treats were a delightful fusion of sweet and savory flavors, leaving me craving for more. The combination of the tender dumplings, fresh strawberries, and a hint of sweetness made for a truly memorable dessert. While the food was undeniably the highlight of my visit, I must admit that the drinks didn't quite measure up. The cocktails and alcoholic beverages I tried lacked the strength and distinctive flavors I was hoping for. Although they were decent, nothing stood out about them, and I felt they could have been more memorable. In terms of service, I was impressed by the staff's proficiency in English. They were attentive, friendly, and happy to guide me through the menu and answer any questions I had.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I shared the duck confit and the traditional kulaida soup, which was plenty for us after having a couple of beers. The duck was tasty with a nice gravy and buns on the side. It was my first time trying kulaida but I enjoyed it despite having nothing to compare it to. Restaurant ambiance was nice for a restaurant/brewery style place. Our servers all spoke English and were polite. Would visit again.

Yelp
Arrived late on a Friday night for a weekend visit and needed food so I found Potrefená on Yelp. Got here at 11:15 and there were still a few customers. I was encouraged to order quickly as they close at midnight. The restaurant has a modern/hipster feel. I sat in the front area that had a mix of regular and high tables. The smell of grilled meat was in the air. Started with the Staropramen Eleven-what else?! Just wanted to get a sampling of Czech fare so ordered the grilled spicy sausage and assorted Czech cheese. There were 3 types of cheese and all were tasty. Tartare of Olomouc, whipped Blue Cheese & marinated Camembert. I Iiked the Camembert the most. They grind and make their own sausage & you can tell as they were seasoned perfectly and grilled just right. Service was good. That said, they were ready to finish up so if you come after 11 & want food have your order ready. This was the meal I needed after a few hours of travel!

Yelp
The restaurant was pretty large so there is no need to worry about a reservation. It does look like it's a part of some chain. Our server was good! Attentive & got us in 10 min before the kitchen closed. The food was meh. We got the pulled duck pockets, fried cheese, & goat cheese salad. The salad is probably the only thing to order again. The meal was priced fairly.

Yelp
Well. For me this here was the best food in Praque. I never had so good meat. It was like heaven. I really don't know what else to say. You should go there. Price and quality are perfect. Sadly we forgot to take pictures. It looked too delicious and we noticed after we ate nearly everything. Pork cheek was awesome. And the Beef.

Yelp
This place seemed pretty corporate but the food was yummy. They had some good beers on tap. I had the summer and the mixed beer, light and dark. For dinner I had the beef with gravy and dumplings. The beef was tasty and the gravy on top was really delicious. It came with dumplings which are kind of a waste of plate space in my opinion, these at least had some other flavor to them, instead of just bread. Our waiter was friendly, service was good. Overall, a good dinner. I would recommend it.

Yelp
Located at the Staropramen Brewery, Potrefená Husa Na Verandách is awesome and definitely worth the trek away from the tourist areas. It was very easy to reach and there is a tram stop right out front! We tried the beef goulash & dumplings, pork belly, cabbage salad, steamed red cabbage, and "deep fried potatoes" (these were potato wedges). The dessert dumplings were filled with chocolate and covered in gingerbread crumbs with sour cream. Everything was good, especially with lots of beer! We sat outside on the patio, and the staff were all very kind. Highly recommended!!

Yelp
A typical Czech restaurant that belong to the famous chain. This restaurant is a good choice for regular meals nothing special but good quality food. It's great when you want to go have beer with a group of friends or just to grab something nice on the way home. Also the space is good for company events or larger celebrations.

Yelp
Friendly service at this spot near the Andel metro. We unfortunately did not get the name of our server, but he was so sweet and indulgent of our feeble attempts at using Czech phrases. He warned us off the "very aromatic" (read: PUNGENT) beer cheese, but we persisted, thinking it was the famous fried cheese we had heard so much about. It was...different. Definitely not for mild palates. The grilled chicken, on the other hand, was delicious, and I wish I could have smuggled some of the side potatoes home. My friend wasn't in love with her strawberry dumpling dessert, but I thought the apple strudel was divine! Would go back here if ever in Prague again.

Yelp
Great beer, food and service ... It's apparently part of a chain operated by a brewery, but don't hold that against them. Friendly, quick and efficient service ... nice spot ... My son and I both had the spicy goulash, very good and filling. Two beers and two goulashes came to about 360 Kr. ... Went back two days later, had the pork neck, excellent, as was the struedel ... well worth it ... my son and I each had pork neck, 4 beer, dessert and coffee ... total including tip 1,000 Kr = $56 Can.

Yelp
Definitely solid - it's the brewery restaurant for the Staropramen complex. The interior is clean and modern and they have a non smoking room. We had beer cheese (definitely get this!) - a mix of soft cheese, beer and spices that is made at table. Kind of like the beer cheese in Munich but sharper tasting. Entrees also very delicious - roast pork just melted and the goulash was really tasty too. Fair prices and friendly service - six beers, an app, two entrees - USD $37! And just two blocks from Hotel General.

Yelp
Dinner for 8. Two plates of fried cheese for the table was great. Most got burgers and loved them. I got the traditional beef tenderloin and it was delish. Our waiter, Tomas, was amazing.

Yelp
Nice restaurant next to Staropramen brewery, not in centre of town so a bit off the beaten track, but easy to get to on 12 tram (Angel stop). Mainly big portions (though I make bet goulash). Chicken wings are good and the pork knuckle is huge. Weirdly a big selection of Staropramen beer... Try the Velvet (let it settle) - good choice

Yelp
So, yeah, about that spicy goulash. Terrific! The sliced dumpling with it made for one serious meal all on it's own. Had the country salad with poached egg prior to that, which was also excellent. The poached egg really works. That and a couple of their house unfiltered beer made for an all around solid dining experience. It does have the vibe of a chain restaurant in some ways - the menus and meal presentation look kinda focus group tested. But a someone else aid, don't hold that against them. It's well worth the visit.

Yelp
Located right next door to the Staropramen tour! The beef tongue charcuterie was excellent. Beer cheese is also a wonderful invention. They've got a nice patio if you want to sit outside as well. A great lunch spot.

Yelp
We tried the pork cheek and the tenderloin with dumplings and both were really great! The staff were nice and attentive and there was very little waiting time. Would definitely return!

Yelp
Absolutely worth every penny and then some. Terrific food and service plus great Czech beers. Cannot recommend it too highly. Really loved the spicy goulash and red cabbage. The dumplings with the goulash were great. Only complaint is that servings were too large. Waiter told me the same dishes are sold a lunch for about half what I paid which was less than $15 USD for the meal, two beers and a great pear brandy.

Yelp
We went here specifically for the spicy goulash and were a bit disappointed in the lack of spiciness and relatively small amount of beef. The beef, as is typical in goulash, was not the best cut and could have been more tender with better trimming and a longer cooking time. We're not dumpling fans, and there were certainly an abundance of them, and too many raw onions on top of the dish for our tastes. The service was accommodating and the food generally a bit more expensive than other places we tried in the local area, but more than satisfactory. The draft beer was excellent, although specify the size you want or the waitstaff will assume the largest option. That said, the beer is excellent and a bargain.

Yelp
Best food in Prague, close to Andel Metro and trams. Great atmosphere, beer and grilled veggies. Everything we ate here (twice in 4 days) was delicious. Close to river; walk southeast to the railroad bridge and ride the free ferry.

Yelp
Great ambience and reasonable prices! The Staropramen unfiltered beer is sooo good! We ordered veprevo koleno, garlic soup, Caesar salad, beef soup and sausages. Everything was delicious, staff was very friendly and helpful. Also we loved the design.

Yelp
Prices were very reasonable and atmosphere was great. Tried the beer cheese which was delicious, the beef goulash was also very good. Portions are also huge.

Yelp
Great food & extremely great prices. We had the risotto & goulash with a small beer & water & it was only $16. We also had bread which was an extra charge. The entire meal was $20 with tip. The portions were not small either.

Yelp
Good food, good service and a good selection of beers. They have velvet, a Czech lager with hints of Guinness. They have a non smoking section and clean bathrooms. Among the best places around Andel.
