Potsdam Hotel Am Jägertor

I arrived there for one night and with a car. I could easily park underneath for a price and the room was really nice. The staff is helpful and friendly and I can only recommend staying there! Breakfast was also delicious and rich. One thing to feedback, at night the AC wasn’t working as well as it did during the day and as a pregnant woman I could hardly sleep during the heatwave.

I stayed at Landhotel Potsdam for half a week during a conference at Potsdam University. I really liked the rooms—they’re classically designed with full wooden furniture and marble showers. It felt warm and welcoming, and I really enjoyed spending time in the room to work and relax. ||Breakfast is served in the hotel’s pleasant restaurant. Since I visited in the winter and there were very few guests, they offered à la carte service instead of a buffet. The selection was rich, though the quality of some of the products wasn’t top-tier. Still, I enjoyed the breakfast overall. ||What really surprised me was how well located the hotel is for exploring Potsdam’s city center—which turned out to be surprisingly lively, with plenty of dining and drinking options for evenings out with colleagues.

Helpful & friendly staff with fluent English. Very reasonably priced considering the quality of the hotel. Good breakfast and communal spaces by the bar. Location close to lots of restaurants and bars.

Lovely hotel and well situated for the old town - very friendly staff lovely room and nice bar. Nice old style decor but all new and sparkingly clean. I didn't have the breakfast buffet but I looked in at it. Seemed really nice. I definitely recommend this hotel

The hotel is excellent. The room was clean, and had everything that one needed. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was a pleasant atmosphere.

Great boutique hotel. Was fully booked but never saw other guests and never felt crowded. Rented bikes from the front desk which was a great way to see the city. Service was above and beyond—great staff. Rooms were cozy and a/c made it very comfortable.

Everything about my stay was excellent! I felt very well taken care of, it felt like finding a hidden gem!

This hotel is superb, I have nothing but praise for it! On entering you find a very impressively decorated building with tasteful furniture. The welcome from staff is professional and genuine. The rooms are also wonderfully decorated, looking rather majestic and of good quality. The bed was extrememly comfy and enormous. Everything you could wish for in a room was provided, including tea/coffee, complimentary mini bar etc. Lovely view of an inner garden that must be a delight to sit in duriing the summer months. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Breakfast at €21 is not cheap but an excellent variety of food is available including vegan options. There is no restarant in the hotel but as the hotel is very central, there are many top quality restaurants within 1 km. No wellness/gym on site. Rather a quirky underground car park (only space for about 12 cars, €20 per night). There are options for onstreet parking in the vicinity. Will definitely make a return visit.

Jedes Jahr am ersten Weihnachtsfeiertag trifft sich die Familie meiner Liebsten schon seit einigen Jahren in diesem geschmackvollen Hotel zum Brunchen & hingebungsvollen Schlemmen. Das Essen ist jedesmal erstklassig & ausgesucht, es gibt immer kalte & warme Gerichte, die Auswahl hat für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Das Personal ist höflich, zuvorkommend, so wie man es in einem solchen Haus erwarten darf. Wir waren bisher immer sehr zufrieden. Since some years on Christmas Day, the family of my love visites this tasteful hotel for Brunch & devotional feast. The food is always selected first class and there is always cold and hot dishes, the selection has something for every taste. The staff is polite, courteous, just as one would expect in such a house. We were always very satisfied so far.

I usually don't review hotels, but I enjoyed myself so much here, I felt it appropriate. Great location. Lots of good chow all around you. Shopper? Lots of that too. Beautiful building, very well manicured. Loved my room & balcony. Great place to watch Potsdam wake up while sipping coffee or slow down sipping a glass of Reisling. Attentative but not invasive staff - hard balance to maintain. My new hotel of preference while in the Berlin area.
