Poulo Condor Boutique Resort & Spa

Me and my friends had a very special stay at the resort. We stayed for 3 nights and would’ve loved to stay longer. The resort is beautiful and super peaceful. It is located on a beach with nothing around except the island airport at the other end of the beach (about 30-40 mins walk) and some tourists and locals that sometimes pop up on a scooter. Unfortunately there is a bit of trash on the beach, but the landscape is still beautiful. The resort itself is beautiful, the rooms (villas) are huge and very nicely decorated, with an outside shower and a gorgeous bathtub. You may get the visit of some monkeys, be careful not to let them in. The pool is also big and gorgeous. We didn’t get the best weather while we were there (windy and quite cloudy) so there was not much to do other than relax - which we loved doing. There are some activities to do on the island, you can get into town with the hotel shuttle or with a taxi. We recommend visiting the museum (Con Dao prison). We have to admit we didn’t find the staff to be the most friendly nor professional, although it was fine for the price we paid - we think they might have hire local staff from the island, which we find really good. Would definitely recommend staying at Poulo Condor for a peaceful retreat, especially while the island is still a hidden gem!

We had a great experience here — totally worth it. We spent two wonderful days fully enjoying all the resort’s amenities. We took kayaks and explored the local pond, spotting many birds and even bats around sunset. We also had the pleasure of watching the sunrise on the beachfront. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was excellent, and in the morning we were amused by several monkeys trying their best to get inside our room. The resort has a beautiful park where we enjoyed a relaxing stroll, discovering many exotic trees and plants. We stayed at other hotels on the island, but none offered such a rich and immersive experience. Highly recommended.

I stayed at Poulo Condor Boutique & Spa for 3 nights in in mid December 2025 and rate the experience as excellent in every way. The room was spacious and comfortable with a colonial vibe. The dining room superb for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The spa was a great experience as I opted for three 90-minute sessions over the course of my stay. I also rented a motorcycle for 2 days from the resort to see the island and the town. No worries; the roads are practically traffic free! The weather was a bit chilly for the beach and pool, although both looked very inviting. Airport pickup and drop off were part of the experience. The grounds were well manicured, beautifully illuminated at night and peacefully quiet. A final nod goes to the first-class staff. For an escape from busy Saigon, you could hardly do better. The location was secluded annd quiet area with big beach. Shuttle services from/to airport are convenient and just 10 minutes away. Restaurant menus include local and western selections; all the food we had was well prepared and delicious. The staff members were polite, kind and helpful (Minh Anh and Dang Nguyen were specially helpful). Most of the serving staff spoke English very well. Even we were boating, a staff member took time to take photos of us. They offer complimentary hiking which took us to a breathtaking view of the ocean. The rooms were spacious and well taken care of. We would love to come back that we didn’t know it was a windy season that we could not swim, but still enjoyed the resort and the island.

We stayed in a private pool villa with a beautifully secluded setting, offering both privacy and comfort, while still being just a short walk from the beach. The villa itself was spacious and thoughtfully designed, with large rooms, an outdoor terrace, sun loungers, a daybed, and an outdoor dining area — perfect for relaxing at any time of the day. Everything felt calm, generous, and well-balanced, never crowded or rushed. The resort is peaceful, refined, and harmoniously integrated with nature. From the layout to the atmosphere, everything feels intentional and of high quality. A very special thank you goes to Nhuan, who was our host during our stay. She is truly exceptional — warm, attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. Over two weeks, she consistently made us feel welcome and well looked after, always present when needed without ever being intrusive. Her energy and dedication added a personal touch that elevated the entire experience. The service throughout the resort was consistently excellent, the staff kind and respectful, and the overall feeling was one of authenticity, calm, and understated luxury. We are leaving with beautiful memories and a strong wish to return. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Con Dao and looking for privacy, comfort, and a truly memorable stay.

The welcome and attention from Nhuan were incredible from the very first moment. The hotel is wonderful, completely immersed in nature and perfectly isolated from everything, making it the ideal place to relax and disconnect. Our villa was very spacious and beautiful, and we also rented a scooter directly from the hotel, which was extremely convenient and made exploring the area so easy. Breakfast by the sea is unbeatable, the service is excellent, and the entire staff is genuinely kind and friendly. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay at Poulo Condor Boutique Resort on Con Dao. The resort is set in beautifully lush, green grounds right in the middle of nature, which made it feel incredibly peaceful and serene. We loved observing all the cute animals around the property, geckos, squirrels, and even monkeys, which really added to the charm and sense of being immersed in nature. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with good air conditioning and reaalllyyy comfy beds. A big plus was the housekeeping team, who renewed the complimentary water several times a day and lighted a little candle in the bathroom each evening. Those afe such a small details, but very much appreciated! A special shoutout to Nhuan at reception, who is an absolute gem. She gave us many great tips, was extremely helpful, and truly warm and welcoming. She regularly checked in with us to make sure everything was to our liking, which made us feel genuinely cared for. Another special mention goes to Nhu from restaurant service, she was very attentive and even memorized our room number after just one conversation. She was incredibly sweet and kind. I also had an amazing massage with Ngân, she did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend her. Overall, all the staff were friendly, kind, and helpful, and the food was really delicious. The only real downside was the beach. During our stay, it was quite full of trash and even had some oil stains that were difficult to scrub off our feet. The staff clearly did their best to clean their stretch of the beach, and this issue is mainly due to the windy season. It's not the hotel’s fault, but rather a sad reminder of the larger, man-made problem of ocean pollution. Thankfully, the resort has a beautiful pool, which almost made up for this completely! We would definitely stay here again, just not during the windy season. We truly loved how quiet, tranquil, and serene the hotel grounds are. It was the perfect place to fully relax and unwind. Wow! A beautiful resort, surrounded by stunning natural gardens and lily ponds.|Peacefully located just minutes from the airport, yet wonderfully serene. Our colonial villa was literally a one-minute walk from a quiet, well-maintained beach. The sound of the sea was incredibly calming. The villa was gorgeous, immaculate and very spacious.|A special mention to our personal host, Nhuan, who cared for us in a way that went far beyond expectation. She was incredibly kind and attentive, always going out of her way to help us with anything we needed. Made us feel less like guests and more like family ☺️
