We stayed in a nice, simple and generally clean apartamiento. ||||We had the pousada get a guide for us to trek the Lencois. Ask for Rudy to help you out while you are there. He speaks great english (no one else seemed to) and was super helpful.||||The food was good, probably expensive, compared to other restaurants ($40R for a meal) but was good and after a long journey we weren't that into adventuring out. ||||Santo Amaro is a great jumping off point for the Lencois, as it is much closer to the dunes than Barreirinhas. The tourist infastructure is minimal, however, so it takes a little more work from here.
