Pousada and Camping LUMIAR

I camped here in a tent during September and found everything to be quite pleasent. The parking for RVs is just that…a dirt parking. The tenting areas are spacious and plentiful consisting of grassy areas and beautiful trees. There can be quite alot of noise from the nearby youth gym during the day, but I don’t believe this establishment deserves to lose stars over what they cannot control. Anybody complaining about utensils in the kitchen is clearly not prepared for camping in its true nature….you are camping remember…bring what you need to sustain your travels. Toilet paper is a hot topic in other reviews as well, there never appeared to be any which I think is a little strange for the price paid per night (45 reais) as I have stayed only days earlier at other properties in Chapada where I paid 30 and 40 reais per night and that included all the toilet paper my heart desired. I personally was not affected by the toilet paper situation as I always bring my own but its worth noting that if you plan to stay here, bring toilet paper. The shower was hot anytime I used it and the wifi worked throughout the grounds. I’m giving 5 stars because the reception was kind, the ground workers always greeted me with a smile and the location is great. I have stayed here twice now and will continue to return as long as prices remain reasonable for what is offered.

It's a beautiful place with a few amenities, but you're basically out in the open, it is a camping ground after all. But it's close to the city center, so if you want to go out for a drink some nights, you won't have to go far. There are basic amenities like a kitchen and some bathrooms/showers, a restaurant and an inn close by, but you'll be getting what you paid for. It's a great place to disconnect from everything , and occasionally there will be some live music and performances here. It attracts a great crowd and is a great place to stay if you want to have the camping experience.

Nice camp with grass. I think the place is generally well looked after, but we went over new years day, so things were a bit messy. I guess it's understandable given the crowds in those days. A bit more pots and cooking utensils in the shared kitchen would help.

Clean and well kept, friendly staff, soft green grass, spacious, shade under big trees and a covered cooking area. We were here over new year and even with the additional people camping here it was great. Good place to camp. Very central too.

Camping is nice, bad thing is the almost empty pool working as a mosquito farm nearby. Also the showers can be cleaner. For the price would be good to have at least WiFi in 2019 ;) peepz are cool and friendly that work there! Valeo :)

Camila was great as a host. The centenary house room is charming/fantastic. Location couldnt be better. We definitely recommend. Thank you

Really beautiful garden for camping. You can use their kitchen. After sunset be prepared for funny guests because dozens of huge frogs start to walk around garden. Funny :)

I thought the price for the drinks a little bit expensive, the service was ok. Thanks for the attention
