Pousada Arco-Íris | São Thomé das Letras | MG

This is the second time my fiancé and I have stayed in this pousada. The reason we keep coming back? This place is amazing! The room we stayed in was spacious and clean and even came with a private parking spot. The room also had a romantic fireplace that the staff will light for you every night. The breakfasts were amazing and the cooks will make fresh pão de queijo for you once you arrive. It’s located just a short walk from the central square with plenty of shops and restaurants to go to. Everything about this hotel is wonderful- we love the staff, the location, the room, the food... everything about this place is amazing!

This was by far one of the nicest and friendliest places I've ever stayed in. The town of São Thome das Letras is very quaint and this hotel fits in perfectly there. The hotel is composed of multiple buildings on both sides of a street and the architecture and design of the buildings are so cool. The entire facility is made of stone and there are murals and sculptures all over the property. The staff was by far the friendliest group of people I've ever met in a hotel setting. We went to the town with a group of friends and the lady working at reception upgraded our room for free so that we could stay closer to our friends. Plus, the room we were upgraded to was absolutely phenomenal! We had our own private parking space (instead of having to park in the small, crowded parking lot) and a fireplace complete with a sitting area as you entered the room. Our entire experience at the hotel was amazing. The room was perfect, the breakfasts were awesome, and employees were so nice. Visiting São Thome was unbelievable, and staying at this place really made it special. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to or through São Thome das Letras.

The good: the localization, the service and the parking are ok.|The breakfast was acceptable for a pousada.|The rooms are so small without a place to hang anything, without any drawer of any time. They are noisy because they are close to the street and anytime a moto drive by you will hear it.|The bathroom are so small that you must shower sideways and the toilet also....unbelievable.|Even considering that it is a pousada and not a hotel, I cannot understand the many excellent reviews.|And the price is very high for the value delivered.|

Very nice staff, clean and comfortable. A small heated pool and sauna available at the venue in case you want to relax. The city is very small and the venue is located close to everything you would like to visit.

Já é a quinta vez que vou pra São Tomé e sempre fiquei em pousadas com valores mais acessíveis e "simples", esse ano como era uma data especial pesquisei por avaliações e fotos do que seria uma pousada "melhor" e escolhi a Arco Íris, porém me decepcionei demais. O quarto super pequeno, não tinha um local decente pra colocar as roupas, cama desconfortável e banheiro com a janela pra rua. Enfim, não vale o valor cobrado. Café da manhã sem muitas opções, porém estava ok. A Francisca é uma fofa, realmente ela que minimizou a impressão ruim que tivemos no geral. Retornarei pra São Tomé muitas mais vezes, mas nessa pousada nunca mais, o custo x benefício não compensa, tem locais mais baratos e com café da manhã mais gostoso e quartos mais confortáveis.

Voltei depois de 8 anos e, novamente, só tenho elogios! A localização é um diferencial pra quem não quer usar carro na cidade. O café da manhã é uma delícia, a limpeza dos quartos é impecável e o atendimento da recepção é nota 10.

Fiquei hospedado na Pousada Arco-Íris por duas diárias (08/2024), inicialmente com reserva no quarto 10. No entanto, ao chegar, percebi que o quarto ficava do outro lado da rua, em uma área praticamente aberta, com muros baixos e garagem sem portão. A recepcionista, de forma atenciosa, ofereceu o quarto 5 como alternativa, localizado na parte principal da pousada, com estrutura mais fechada e vaga em garagem coberta. Foi uma opção muito melhor. Um ponto negativo importante é o banheiro: extremamente pequeno. Tenho 1,71m e 90kg, e tive bastante dificuldade para me movimentar dentro do box. Até pegar um sabonete no chão foi complicado. Minha namorada, que é magra, também se queixou do espaço reduzido. O café da manhã é bacana, mas no geral, considerando o valor cobrado, o custo-benefício não compensa. Há opções melhores na mesma faixa de preço.

Fiquei hospedada na pousada no feriado prolongado de abril e só tenho elogios! A localização é um diferencial pra quem não quer usar carro na cidade. O café da manhã é uma delícia, a limpeza dos quartos é impecável e o atendimento da recepção é ótimo. Eu precisei de ir no centro de saúde e a recepção me deu todo o suporte pedindo carro pra me levar! Recomendo muito!
