Pousada Borghetto Sant'Anna

Highly recommend staying here! We stayed here with friends over the first weekend in September and it was a wonderful escape. We stayed in one of suites and it was particularly lovely. Beautiful room, gorgeous view and terrace, working fireplace with wood for the evenings, and a nice living room area where we all hung out in front of the fireplace and relaxed for awhile. Breakfast was also great - they made us eggs on order each morning and had a good selection of meat, cheese, and fruit with terrific coffee and juices in a room with floor to ceiling windows. Hotel staff was also very friendly despite my limited Portuguese skills!

Got the "casa paterna"(presidential suite) for my stay at the Wineries Valley and it was a great experience. Room is very cozy and wide. Besides the bedroom area and the bathroom, there are nice living and dinning room like areas, a small kitchen and a great balcony with a superb view of the valley. Had a great time enjoying the fireplace warm while listening to a couple of romantic song classics. Is also worth spending some time in the balcony during the morning, stretching a while in the sun and enjoying the valley view.

It was a surprisingly nice experience to stay in Borghetto Sant'Anna for us as our last trip in Brazil after staying for 3 years. We really miss and would like to go back again.||This pousada (Inn) locates in the middle of Vale dos Vinhedos, where is very quiet and tranquil and you can enjoy nice view of the vineyards on the downhill. The room is very clean, well furnished, the bed we used is very comfortable, the shower is hot and has enough pressure.||However, the best point of this pousada is how they welcome us. You can just talk with them what you want to do, then they give you the right suggestions, information and arrangements, not like the way of the hotel, but just like your family or friend, even though their work is very professional, while you do not even realize their efforts as it is so natural. We arrived there on new year day, so all the restaurants around were closed, but they quickly arranged nice cold cuts like ham, salami, etc. with breads (although they do not have dinner service there), so we could enjoy nice, quiet new year evening in the room with a nice bottle of wine we got in the winery nearby. They even didn't charge it! Anyway, you don't need luxury dinner in this place, you can really enjoy the tranquility with your favorite wine you find in Vale dos Vinhedos (although there are also some nice restaurants available around this area). ||In our room, there was an old boombox, and I wondered why at first. However, I felt it was really a right choice, when I found a Coltrane Jazz CD inside, which promises you a nice evening moment in the pousada. ||I definitely recommend this pousada for the person who wants to spend your vacation in beautiful vineyards quietly. I also recommend "Picnic" in Vinhos Larentis where you can walk down in 15 min. from this pousada.

We enjoyed our stay very much, and would return in future trips! The view is very nice, with cozy fireplace and friendly staff. The house is well stocked and we really enjoyed every bit, were able to invite local friends for a dine and wine, with the Pousada's nice selection of music. I just wished we had a dedicated router inside the house for better connectivity.

We loved the location of this pousada. It has a sweeping view of the valley and it immediately feels like home. The place is decorated with charming country furniture and is unbelievably comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful - they even put an umbrella outside our door one morning when the forecast called for rain. The only drawback to our visit was a family of four (a couple and two young children). As we thought this was more of a couples' romantic retreat, we were surprised to wake up every morning to our fellow guests' children screaming. Despite this, it was a lovely place we would be excited to go back to.

The hotel is very well located, right in the middle of the "Wine Rout". We stayed for a quick time (only 1 night) but it was a very special experience. Travelers left messages for the hotel owners in a room diary, and we saw this place made a lot of happy moments for some other couples too. ||Breakfast is average and could be more elaborated, but it was delicious and with a nice view from the restaurant.||The staff is very kind and helpful with all local tips and also posted on via courier 2 jackets we forgot in the wardrobe. Lovely!||They don't accept cards for payment - take cash.

We stayed at the lovely Casa das Ervilhas for 3 nights and we honestly wished we could have stayed longer. It's in a peaceful location, just besides a vineyard and with an amazing view of the valley. It is a romantic setting, with a fireplace perfect for the winter days. Since there's so much to do in the valley, we didn't stay in our house as much as we wanted, and it definitely deserves a more quiet weekend!

Very quiet and relaxes place, excellent service, beautiful surrounding. The staff friendly and helpful, the proprietor helpful more than can be asked, even taking us to places in his private car. In view of all this, the price of the room seems appropriate.
