Pousada Casa Búzios

We stayed at the Pousada for a whole week, and it was absolutely amazing. Chris is the kind of host every hotel should have. He makes you feel so welcome, which is rare nowadays. He made us laugh, made sure we felt comfortable, and was always radiating his amazing energy.||The Pousada itself is a dream. It’s located right on the beach, and in the morning you can enjoy breakfast while listening to the ocean. The rooms are spacious, the mattresses are wonderful, and everything is spotlessly clean. I honestly have nothing negative to say about this Pousada or its employees. I would highly recommend it to anyone.||I have traveled the world, stayed in countless hotels, and I even teach Hotel Management to students in Holland. The way Chris runs this Pousada is exactly what I teach my students about true hospitality.||Thank you, Chris and team, for giving us such a wonderful holiday!

Very cute and stylish Pousada (good taste) in the best location in Buzios. Only 6 room. Amazing staff and very helpful. Good vibe and ambient music. Green garden with very good breakfast.small attention in the room. Definitely recommended and better price outside booking !

While it might not be as swanky as its neighbors like Casas Brancas or Abracadabra, this charming Pousada excels in something that none of the others in the area have - Extremely personalized service and super warm hospitality! A luxury of a different kind! Housed in a heritage villa that used to be a former French residence from the 40s - this small boutique hotel provides a good balance of comfort and local flavor, though it may not suit travelers seeking luxury accommodations. The pousada's strength lies in its warm atmosphere and convenient location, making it a solid choice for those wanting to explore Buzios without breaking the bank. The best part is its character. Every nook and corner of the property is tastefully decorated with vintage decor oozing an antique charm from a bohemian bygone era!||LOCATION: The hotel's location is undoubtedly one of its strongest assets. Situated just a short walk from Rua das Pedras, Buzios' main street, you can easily access shops, restaurants, and nightlife. Several beaches, including Praia dos Ossos and Praia Azeda, are within walking distance. ||DINE + DRINK: The cute little lobby bar is super characterful and great for a pre-drink before you head into town.The complimentary breakfast was refreshingly good with a simple but custom menu||ROOM: We stayed in a lovely Room that was in the exterior part of the villa with great views of the ocean from the sweet balcony attached to it; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; VIEW: Lovely views of the swimming pool the beautifully blossomed tree and the seafront from the terrace attached to the suite; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM: Good sized bathroom with a Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Excellent spa quality toiletries by L'ÓCITTAINE brand!||FACILITIES: No Gym, but they have a cute and cozy pool on site||SERVICE: Friendly staff that cared for all our needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout-out to ANDRE from the front desk whose World Famous CAIPRINHA we couldn't sample! But the star of the show was the owner/manager Mr.CRISTIANO who hosted us like family and even gave us a private tour of the beautiful premises!||HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Small TV dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment - BUT ONLY IN PORTUGUESE!!

Pousada Casa Buzios manages to give the feel of a luxury resort with the personal touch of a high-end bed&breakfast. From the moment you step onto the property it's obvious great care is taken to achieve this feeling. Christiano (the co-owner) is not only a spectacular host but excellent tour guide; relaying numerous tips of the area that made us feel like locals. I could not have been happier with the accommodations as well; perfectly clean rooms, lots of space, and manicured grounds. All the staff was equally hospitable and welcoming. You truly felt they wanted to create a memorable experience for us. I cannot recommend Pousada Casas Brancas highly enough. A true gem within paradise.

Location! Pousada Casa Buzios is perfectly located in a quiet place overlooking the ocean, on the Bridget Bardot sidewalk. It’s walking distance to nice restaurants, clubs, and shops. This exclusive, 6 unit hotel offers luxury accommodation for a reasonable price. The hotel is well maintained in a stylish old home with plenty of charm and attention to details. The rooms are comfortable and cozy. Breakfast overlooking the sea is chicken soup for the soul. The pool is maintained daily. Ample parking inside the premises. Security cameras are installed around the property. I booked direct from their website, and communication was easy because the owner speaks fluent English. I intended to stay for 3 nights, and ended up staying for 8 nights. I look forward to returning next year. Thanks to Chris and his dedicated staff for making my stay memorable.

One of the nicest places I have ever stayed, friendly staff, clean property, great location. |I would definitely recommend this with place to stay. |It was an amazing experience staying at this property. The staff were warm and friendly and greeted us and treated us like we were family. ||The communication, via whatsapp before we arrived was outstanding, giving us information about the property and sped up the check in process.|By providing a form to complete before we arrived, the check in was fast and very smooth.||The property is amazingly well kept, the bed is very very comfy, the rooms very clean and the toiletries where that of a 5 start hotel ||A nice large breakfast was served each day and the view from the pool deck is very scenic.||The location of this property is also great, close enough to the shops, yet far enough out to be able to enjoy the peace.||Thanks to Chris and all the team at Pousada Casa Buzios, you really made us feel like family and provided the best service and provided us with a stay way beyond our expectations.||Date stayed: 6th to 11th November 2023. |Room name: Canoa

We loved our stay here - one of my most favorite travel experiences. We stayed in the Alquimista suite which had a beautiful veranda. The breakfast was so fresh and delicious and we ate with a gorgeous view of the sea every morning. This location is wonderful too - we could walk to the town center easily or walk to the beach. The staff here were so friendly and helpful and gave us great recommendations. We also appreciated that they accommodated our early check in. There are also two very cute cats on the property. Our stay here was a dream!
