Pousada Casa Tiki

Lovely pousada, super quiet and chilled, with delicious breakfast. They also serve coffee, tea and biscuits in the afternoon, which is perfect when you're tired from a day on the beach and need a "wakemeup" before going out for dinner and drinks :)||Stella and Cicero - the owners - are extremely friendly and can give you some great tips about Itacaré and surroundings. ||We spent New Year's Eve there and Stella was amazing enough to prepare a gorgeous vegetarian dinner for guests who didn't have any dinner plans.||The place is extremely clean and tidy and the location is perfect as it is nice and quite but in a walking distance from the main touristy street (Pituba) and the beaches.||Will definitely go back to Casa Tiki when in Itacaré again.

We spent 4 nights in Itacare, in Casa Tiki. We liked it there. The room was spacious and calm. The host was very nice and helpful. We felt like home! ||The breakfast is very good as well. It is very easy to go the main beach (not outstanding) or the ones a bit further (much nicer). Same, very easy to go to the main street for the restaurants.

We spent 2 weeks in this pousada. 2 wonderful weeks! Kevin - the owner, is very friendly and cheerful Belgian guy. He is always ready to help, to give advices and tips on where to go and what to do, even can easily help with the translation of Portuguese to english and french. Yvonne, his girlfriend, helps with hotel and she is also very friendly and a great cook! Pizza and BBQ parties were awesome!||Marley - supercute and kind dog whose name will be the name of the new guys' restoran which i wish to visit in the future. Should be an excellent place to chill!||The room has conditioner which is very useful in that climate and has everything you need. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is great and we were not tired of it after 2 weeks cause of great variaty) ||Kevin even helped us very much with the unfortunate visist to hospital. He spent almost all day with us to translate everything to doctors and also did everything to find best ones in that city. ||This place is clise to the main street but at the same time it is located on the calm and not noisy street, which is nice if you want to relax after surfing. ||We loved the place very much!

Really helpful! Good location, short walk to main street and beaches. Rooms are clean and nice size. 2 really sweet dogs that make the place feel homely. They have an honor system with taking beers, water, soda etc from the fridge. You just write down what you took and pay at the end. Which i think is great. Fair prices too, pretty much the same as the store. Nice to chill around the house anytime of the day. There was no mosquito net, but kevin gave us a plug in repellent and a spiral incense repellent that did the trick. ||Easygoing place! |

This is a great choice if your looking for the essential comforts of a hotel yet the tranquility and privacy of a home. Kevin, the owner of the bed and breakfast greets you at check-in. There are four rooms and a beautiful, well decorated common space. Its a really comfortable and welcoming space. I LOVE that huge orange beanbag!!! I would definitely come back again. Oh and its a 5 minute walk from the beach.

This is really a great pousada, close to the beach, in a safe and tranquil neighborhood filled with a lot of other pousadas. We stayed three days in the Africa room which is spacious and has a high ceiling and a balcony with an obligatory hammock in front. The place is laidback and quiet, but doesn't feel isolated as some places tend to feel in low season. The host, Kevin, gave us tips about where and when to go at night to find live music and our only regret was that we didn't stay for the jam session at his bar not too far away, but only because the kitchen had closed and we were really, really hungry. Kevin was a great host, he really went out of his way to help us with everything we needed. We'll definitely return the next time we're in Itacaré!

I am a frequent traveller and have been to quite a few locations over the years. I think I originally booked for 5 days but stayed 10! Having recently travelled to Bali (for about the 9th time in Feb 15), Kevin has done a fantastic job of creating a very relaxing / Bali feeling. The rooms, gardens and surroundings are always immaculate and Kevin personally went out of his way to ensure that I had everything I needed and more (for example I had run out of Protein powder for the gym and Kevin was very quick to offer some of his ! I am sure that he would give the shirt off his back if you needed it ! :). I have decided to stay in Itacare for an un-determined period of time. If and when you come here make sure you only buy a one way ticket. This place is really a paradise. The beaches are amongst some of the best I have seen and the Surf is great for all levels of surfing. Well done Kevin and the "Tiki" team. You deserve all the accolades as hard work alway's tends to pay off !. Cheers Ronny

When i was there the place was really quiet and relaxing. The rooms are clean and spacious and they have greeat breakfast. They told me during high season gets crowded but still nice. They also offer surf lessons.
