Pousada Catamarã

Last week I stayed there with my wife for 5 days. Generally speaking, the experience was very good. Below some bullets:||1. Room was cozy, very silent and comfortable - I only disliked that device you have to plug a sort of card to have electricity available (this is annoying in my opinion)||2. Breakfast was very nice, many options of cakes and breads, always two options of juice. Pancakes, tapiocas and omelets are done at the time you asks for, what results in fresh food (although the omelet or scrambled eggs are a small portion - could be better)||3. Staff attendance: all of them always very friendly, attentive and helpful. They gave us good suggestions of tours and places to eat. Also, were kind and efficient to solve the issue of missing water.||4. General infrastructure: overall, very good. Great pool, always clean, so as the inn entrance very confortable and clean.

Nice pousada very close to many restaurants and stores.|The rooms are basic yet they have some charm and are comfortable. The grounds of the pousada are nice.|The staff are very friendly and welcoming. |The beach is a bit of walk away but is not bad. |I would stay there again.

We were only here a few night's but thought that it was average overall. When we arrived it must have been a mosquitoes birthday and the were all invited. The room was full of them. The staff sorted it pretty quickly which was good but the room smelt most of the night after. Breakfast was average. In there defence we booked super late and they weren't expecting us.

We had a fantastic time over Christmas at Catamara, the staff is happy, kind, and helpful, rooms are very clean and comfortable, air-conditioning is silent and works really well, nice swimming pool and fantastic breakfast with big variety of fresh fruits, cakes, breads..., quiet location, nice location close to the beach and close to restaurants and bars. It has exceeded our expectations at all levels. We are looking forward to come back.
