We stayed two nights in Da Bia. It is well located. The breakfast is great and they have the traditional Minas wooden oven to keep to water hot. The kids enjoyed the pool. The rooms can be quite small and the water pressure in the shower is not the best, but all was clean and good. The service was good, we could even have our laundry done at the pousada!

Although this hotel is overall very nice, it's just a little overpriced for what you get. I admit we chose it because of the lovely pool (which we had almost to ourselves as there were hardly any other guests). We had a room at the back, which was nice, although not that big. Private secluded parking right in front of our room. Beside the pool, we loved the breakfast buffet the most. Plenty of choise, very tasteful, a great way to start the day. If you're willing to pay a bit extra, so stay here. If you're on a tighter budget, there's probably better choices.

I'd absolutely recommend Pousada da Bia - my friend and I were traveling on a budget and found nearly everything in Tiradentes to be outside of our price range - until we found this place. It's a super-cute pousada/hotel, the rooms were pleasant and really well decorated and the outdoor common space was perfect. The staff and owner were incredibly nice and accommodating, far over and above what is to be expected -- they even called a number a hotels for us in the next towns we were planning to go to (Portuguese being very challenging over the phone for non-native speakers). Was a great experience!

The Inn is located in the centre, we could walk everywhere from there. The accommodations are cosy and with mini bar, tv and bathroom. They serve a complete breakfast with delicious specialties from Minas Gerais state and the breakfast room is very typical with old style oven, wooden furniture and very big windows to the garden. We'll definitely will be back soon.

Nice rooms, Very friendly staff and a tasty breakfast. The highlight would be the staff. Always smiling and ready to help. The rooms are simple but clean and with Just enough space to be confortable. The location is Very Nice. Very near to the historical centre.

Tiradentes is a very expensive place to stay and this was one of the only affordable pousadas I could find. I stayed there with my boyfriend and my mom and we were very happy with the service, breakfast, pool and location - walking distance from the main sights in Tiradentes. The rooms are very basic and did have some bugs in them, but they were clean and well maintained. This is one of the best options in Tiradentes for an affordable but still nice place to stay in the center of town.

Very nice Pousada, very friendly owners, breakfast in a garden house, small pool. Rooms are very simple though, not even a chair or table inside, a bit overpriced. Still a lovely place, nice to relax on the verandah.

Rooms to small and very "basic" , and too cold for staying there during the brazilian winter months. There are no common rooms/lobby where you could stay/sit in the evening. Very nice garden area and good breakfast and nice breakfeast room, yet closed during the rest of the day. Not enough service orientation for brazilian means. The owner "Bia" was not present during the time when we were in the hotel. No reception desk or other services after 9 pm, no contact person after that . Overrated by "Lonley Planet" travel guide, would be happy if Regis St. Louis (LP author) could review and discuss that with the owner.
