Pousada das Missões

The Pousada is a five-minute walk to the ruins. Visiting during the day and at night for the Sound and Light Show was a breeze. Front desk staff is very helpful with maps and attractions to visit in the area. Breakfast was excellent. On arrival our room was very clean and once we figured out the solar heated shower we had plenty of hot water. ||However, our room was not cleaned during our 2-night stay and noise from adjoining rooms was a problem. It seems that the bathrooms share a common ventilation system through which sound travels.

I stayed for two nights in this "pousada" and I would recommend it, especially for those on a budget. Breakfast is satisfactory, reception-desk is friendly and helpful, location is perfect and it offers quiet and comfortable rooms. I would only point as "con" some minor issues regarding cleanliness.

Great place to stay. Room and bathroom are clear. Very close to the ruins.

It was late when I was looking for a place to sleep 💤 it was good value for money . Parking space available.

Ecological place. Room very clean and organized. Breakfast delicious!
