My foreign friends are always speechless: this little place is close to perfection for a romantic & charming getaway. (No pool = no kids = great!) Few, very personalized, varied rooms with the taste of historic old times. Owners treat you like family, in the good sense: they will make sure they you get the best out of your stay, in town and around it, going an extra mile to make sure that happens. I will always be back! .

The rooms are nice, clean and cosy.|The pousada is well situated in the Center of tiradentes. Right between two of the main attractions of the city. For breakfast the served a great variety of delicious food. Ranging from fresh Juice and fruit, pastries and homemade egg. The stuff is kind, welcoming and very helpful in every situation. |We highly recommend this pousada.

We loved the location which is in the quiet historic part of town. We booked one of the upgraded rooms which was spotlessly clean an comfy. The staff speaks only Portuguese which is true of almost the whole town. This created a bit of a challenge for us but the staff was very patient and accommodating. The breakfast was basic but incuded fresh fruits and fresh squeezed juice. We would definitely stay here again!

Pousada do Ó is a very rustic and basic guesthouse. It's located in a old bulding, so do not expect any sophistication. We stayed in a standard room, but if you want a little bit more comfort opt for a superior room. They are more spacious and have modern facilities. During the winter time the room may be a little bit cold and the old style door and windows may let the cold air come inside, so be prepared!||||There are two top things when it comes to Pousada do Ó. First of all the location. This pousada is located right in the heart of this charming town, just a short walk away from the main church and the principal square. Location couldn't really be any better. Secondly, the staff is really friendly and helpful, especially the owner. They make you feel home. ||||If you are looking for a centrally located pousada with reasonbale price (remember Tiradentes is NOT one of the most economic brazilian destinations) I would stay that Pousada do Ó is a good option. If you just keep in mind that it's a rustic old times experience and not a fancy and modern pousada, you will enjoy your stay.

Pousada do O had the best breakfast of any place we staying during our 2 month stay in Brazil, with fresh juice, fresh cake and Minas cheese. The staff were attentive and helpful, the pousada was centrally located, clean, with great rooms. I'd definitely recommend this to any traveller to Tiradentes. The wifi signal was the one thing that could be improved, it was good when in the center of the pousada, but didn't reach all the rooms.

Beautiful Bed and Breakfast, with lots of handcrafted, modern decor that match the city! Breakfast was delightful, filled with local and home made pastries, cakes. The only negative was the shower head, had no pressure, but that is pretty common throughout Brazil.

Excellent service! Excellent stay! Obrigada Dona Maria! Also great location. We upgraded to a larger, newer room and found that the room was spacious and comfortable. The pousada has a great breakfast with local fruit and baked goods.

Four of us, including a 3 year old, visited recently and found largely the same features as other reviewers: great location - in the middle of everything but still quiet, quaint old building with stone floors and period furniture, friendly and helpful staff and good breakfast (typical local fare). ||For 3 1/2 people, though, it was quite cramped with only one tiny window facing out onto dead-space and no ventilation. We also happened to stay during a cold snap and the room was quite cold (as 95% of those in the region would have been) and the shower heater was insufficient to overcome the cold water, so lukewarm showers were the best we could do. They did have a small space-heater for rent which helped. ||Bottom line was that, for what it is, Pousado do O does a good job, but is overpriced (same as most everything in Brazil right now, at least for this negotiation-challenged gringo) at R$300 / night.
