Four of us, including a 3 year old, visited recently and found largely the same features as other reviewers: great location - in the middle of everything but still quiet, quaint old building with stone floors and period furniture, friendly and helpful staff and good breakfast (typical local fare). ||For 3 1/2 people, though, it was quite cramped with only one tiny window facing out onto dead-space and no ventilation. We also happened to stay during a cold snap and the room was quite cold (as 95% of those in the region would have been) and the shower heater was insufficient to overcome the cold water, so lukewarm showers were the best we could do. They did have a small space-heater for rent which helped. ||Bottom line was that, for what it is, Pousado do O does a good job, but is overpriced (same as most everything in Brazil right now, at least for this negotiation-challenged gringo) at R$300 / night.
