"The Pestana group is responsible for an outsized proportion of Portugal’s hotel trade, and among their specialties is the rehabilitation of historical properties. Pousada do Porto - Rua das Flores is just such a place — an 18th-century structure on a pedestrians-only street in Porto’s historic district, meticulously restored and opened to the public as an 84-room boutique-style luxury hotel." - Tablet Hotels

We have just been lucky enough to spend 3 nights in the beautiful hotel.|We were amazed by the whole place. It smells amazing as you walk in and gives a classy but friendly vibe. The staff are welcoming and helpful. We arrived early, and our room was ready which was great. We stayed in a cosy room and although small, it was well appointed and suitable for what we needed. The beds were the comfiest I have ever had in a hotel.|Breakfast was of a very good quality with lots of choice and we ate dinner in the restaurant one evening, my husband says it was the best burger he ever had.|Ideally located to visit all Porto has to offer.|We had to leave early this morning and the kitchen arranged for us to have a take away breakfast - just make sure you ask the night before. Really nothing was too much trouble. |We would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

Pousada do Porto on Rua das Flores MORE than exceeded my expectations! I don't know what I was expecting but it was so much more in the best ways! The hotel was in such a fabulous location in the very walkable city of Porto. Porto is a city, but it doesn't feel like one, it feels calm and relaxing, especially where this hotel is located which is just minutes from the river, transportation and so many great restaurants and shops. I felt like I was walking into a luxury hotel, the staff was so friendly and helpful (especially Diana who recommended to see the beautiful towns of Braga and Guimaraes while I was there and I'm so glad I did)! The room was stunning, no detail overlooked and I even had a great view! I loved keeping my door open to hear the church bells! I highly recommend adding the breakfast buffet as it was absolutley delicious every day with the best servers and their restaurant was fantastic as well with local favorites like the Francesinha which you should absolutely try while you're in Porto along with the port wine! My server was great (Mauro, I believe?). I can't recommend this place enough, it is worth every penny and I will absolutely stay there again next time I go to Porto! Thank you all for making my stay in Porto so special!

This pousada is an historic building that has been renovated. It is on R. das Flores, a pedestrian street in the historic area of Porto. Rhe street has many nice shops, cafes, and restaurants. The furnishings are quite nice, but our room is small for 2 people. The queen size bed takes up most of the space. The breakfast buffet offers many items. The dinner menu in the restaurant is also quite good, and the service is excellent.

The hotel is well placed base for easy access to bus, train, metro and train services. Also the river bridge crossing is in walking distance and give good access to the port producers. The staff are friendly, helpful. They conversed with guests in many languages including English. We had a superior room was clean and comfortable with a range of good facilities. The outlook was over the courtyard with a view of the main clock tower. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection. Tiago and Sayonara were very friendly and attentive serving guests with teas/coffee or dealing efficiently with specific requests.. Evening meals with the hotel were tasty. The waiting staff were friendly with a good service. It was very useful the hotel offer to store bags on depart day allowance guests to maximise time in Porto. The hotel is quiet and relaxed. A great location as a base to visit Porto and surrounding areas.

My husband and I stayed here on our recent trip to Porto. Absolutely loved staying here - the hotel itself is beautiful. The location is amazing - right in the center of the city. We were able to walk to most places, including the Sao Bento Train Station (<5 min walk). Our room had a false balcony that opened up to the street which made our already luxurious room even more special. (Also want to note that despite being in a very busy part of the city, the balcony door impressively sound proofed the room at night). The included breakfast had a lot of options and their dining area is so pretty. Highly recommend!!

The hotel is located on a pedestrian street right in the historic center, which made exploring the city super easy and enjoyable. The room had everything we needed: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, water, tea, coffee and even a mini-bar. We added breakfast and didn’t regret it for a second. Felipe and Thiago were incredibly kind and attentive they even remembered exactly which coffee each guest preferred. The girls at the reception helped me track down my lost luggage at the airport, which I appreciated so much. I only wish I’d packed a swimsuit so I could use the pool. The sauna was great too. Highly recommend this hotel. A solid 10/10.

Mauro was so sweet! So helpful even beyond serving our food, he gave us suggestions on things to do in the city, and gave us a new soup when we didn’t enjoy the first one. Felt truly cared for and appreciated it a lot!

Mauro was spectacular. His knowledge and lovely calm demeanor made our experience even better than expected. The hotel is calm inviting and well appointed. Try out there pool. The restaurant is the best we have experienced in a hotel lobby- worth the visit even if you’re not staying at the hotel. Mauro- 5 star service. He deserves recognition.
