Pousada do Vale

The best kind of hotel! Friendly knowledgeable staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome but without being too intrusive. Beautiful grounds including a really lovely vegetable garden which the gardener was only too happy to show us round. Great room with lovely balcony overlooking the greenery. The best breakfast of our Brazilian travels: extensive and personalised additions such as avocado on toast and omelettes. Highlight is the delicious cakes served for the complimentary afternoon tea.|Our only disappointment is that we wished we had stayed for longer. The whole family ( mum,dad and teens) absolutely loved our stay.

The reception staff were some of the best I met on my travels around the world. They are at another level of helpfulness, professionalism, lindo, organisation, and are funny and delightful to know. Then there is Laurina, who is a bit crazy, definitely has a screw loose but is hilarious, kind and mischievous. All the staff made me feel welcome, looked after and comfortable.||||This hotel has customer service down to perfection, from collecting me from the airport, organising trips and excursions, fixing issues I had and finding my lost property.||||The accommodation is top-notch, with brilliant air conditioning, TV, a huge bed, modern fixtures and furnishings. My only suggestion would be to add mosquito net but they did supply one of those plug-in devices that kept them at bay while I slept. Unfortunately the mosquitoes are as bad as in Ilha Bela, they are absolutely savage.||||The accommodation is set in a delightful valley with a lovely garden featuring signs detailing plant names. They even have their own vegetable patch, which provides fresh produce to the restaurant, which serves a decent breakfast, delicious lunches and dinners. Then there are the tea-time cakes, which were scrumptious.||||I thoroughly recommend visiting this island and staying at this venue. The wildlife, attractions, and people are amazing. And dangerous – well, the sharks are – and those pesky frogs that sneak up on you when walking to the restaurant.||||I had a great time, with memories I hope I never forget. If you want to create your own memories, definitely visit this island.

Terrific hotel on a magical island! The staff are all incredibly gracious and helpful, the gardens are lovely (including fresh vegetables for the restaurant) and the location is terrific. Highly recommend, it is the best hotel on Noronha.

Amazing hotel and amazing service, absolutely beautiful. We also had the most wonderful breakfasts each morning that were home made with care. The team also organised a private tour guide which was a great day exploring the island. Do not hesitate to book.. !!

Pousada Do Vale was absolutely wonderful in EVERY way. I recommend it 100%. The rooms are very comfortable and well stocked. We stayed in a family room with our three children and had enough space for the 5 of us plus a hammock & table outside and a little patio with a small garden for the kids to play in. Everyone on staff was also incredibly attentive and helpful. My husband got sick on the first night there and they ensured that he got back to health and were completely at our disposal to provide attention, care and support. We are so glad that we chose Pousada do Vale for our stay in Noronha!! Our kids loved the warmth of the pool, the daily tea/dessert and the fruit garden on the property! We all LOVED the freshly baked pastries and breads at breakfast (we’ve traveled all over the world and this ranks as one of the best hotel breakfasts ever) and the fact that the beach was walking distance (and includes two natural pools). Our kids are already planning their next stay at Pousada do Vale!

Do Vale was lovely! They have a vegetable garden which is rare on the island. We had a lovely dinner one evening! The location is great, breakfast is very extensive and the complimentary afternoon tea was a really nice touch! The staff are very helpful and a number of them speak really good English! I highly recommend!

We stayed for 4 days at Do Vale with an our 2 grown up children (20 and 24). The staff at Do Vale was very friendly and helpful, and the Pousada is so beautiful. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and hospitality. |The breakfast buffet was very good, and allowed my family early access when they had to leave before 7am for diving.

This was my best experience at a hotel in all of Brazil. The staff are amazing and spread vibrant island energy. The food at the hotel's restaurant was nothing short of spectacular... the best seafood I've had in a LONG, LONG time. Lastly, as an anecdote for my appreciation for the hotel and its staff. When I checked in upon my arrival, in one of the forms I filled in my birthday. Coincidentally, my birthday was three days later. Fast forward three days, as I ate breakfast, I was surprised with a delicious chocolate birthday cake and everyone sang me a happy birthday song. I can't say enough good things about this place!
