This hostel is one of my favorites after staying in hostels for over a year now. Gabriela was very kind and helpful as were all of the other staff members. The rooms, bathrooms, and common areas are very clean and comfortable. This kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook your own food. The common areas are set up very nicely so you can either study, watch tv, or sit outside on the patio. Hot water and strong wifi just added to my nice stay here. The breakfast was very nice with a good selection of breads, cakes, meat, cheese, coffee, teas, jello, cold cereal and more. The location is within walking distance of Paulista street which is where you can go shopping and find nice restaurants.

Great super clean hostel with lovely facilities. Huge dining room, new furniture in lounge areas (2 of), outdoor area and nice kitchen - the best I've seen in a hostel to date. We stayed in the private room with bathroom which was small but new and clean. Shower was fantastic! And staff were lovely and helpful. Bed was comfy but the room does face the street so keep that in mind if you are a light sleeper. For the price it was very good value I thought.||||Location was good if you don't mind walking a bit and we didn't go out clubbing or to bars so I can't comment on location to entertainment.

clean hostel, great buffet breakfast. facilities are top notch: great wifi & there's a computer available at the common area. ||english spoken, & gabriella is especially helpful.||located in a safe residential area close to little italy & within minutes walk to the popular restaurants there, although at first glance the little italy part seems a bit on the rough side.||my only gripe is that although it's not that far from paulista avenue, the walk is a bit of a climb & if you're in a hurry to the metro station, it could be a hindrance.

This pousada deserves more than 5 ⭐s! Hands down the best stay I’ve had in two years of travel! It felt like I found a home and a family, too. It's no wonder repeat guests come back every year to visit. Location- Tucked away on a cozy residential street, with many nearby bars, restaurants, cafés, grocery stores, and gyms. A short, 4-minute walk will get you to Paulista Avenue and the metro. Breakfast - A filling buffet of fruit, cereal, breads, juice, coffee, cake, hot chocolate, cookies, yogurt, ham, cheese, with the option to order eggs. Family - The pousada is family owned and operated. The family do not live on-site but are nearby and always ready to help with anything you need. There are staff on-site to serve your needs 24/7. It's clear that the employees and family have mutual love and respect for each other. That care carries over to guest treatment. Property - The property has a garden, driveway, dining room, two living rooms, kitchen, and workspace. The rooms and bathroom are large and clean compared to anything I’ve experienced in Brazil. The wifi is fast and I took my Portuguese lessons online (video calls) without any issue. Atmosphere - Calm. Relaxed. Peaceful. Cheery. Cleanliness - Impeccably clean. Sleep - A+. My partner and I rented a private room with both a large and small bed. Both were comfortable and despite a nearby hospital, we found the street quiet enough. Safety - This neighbourhood is mixed in terms of wealth and lifestyle. But I never once worried about my safety. The front gate is accessible by door code and someone is at the front desk 24/7.

This hostel has everything you may need: location, cleanness, strong WI-FI in communal areas, laundry service, nice breakfast etc. Very relaxed lounge and outdoor area which is perfect to chill after long day. Most importantly, people at the front desk are simply great. We had to change our reservation very last minute from 4 to 3 bed, and that was done with no issues. Gabriela fought like a lion to get our lost luggage from the airport asap. Vomir ordered us a pizza in the middle of the night when our Portuguese language skills failed us miserably etc.etc. No request was too small or too big and staff was always happy to help which makes this hostel great. Will return if I ever have a chance to visit Sao Paulo again.

Upon entry into Pousada dos Franceses, I was greeted with an size-able, cozy garden space that met a large sliding door into the lobby of the Pousada. It was there where I met Dior at the front desk - an accommodating host and friend. This was the case for all of the Pousada staff - Gabriela, Patricia, Letti. It was almost if they were traveling with us and knew just exactly how to make us feel relaxed and worry-free. The staff hosted small get-togethers on the weekends for friends and fellow travelers and were always present when needed: 24 hours, 7 days a week. ||||I had many great memories here - late nights with the staff and other travelers. I left on the check-out day feeling as if I left my second-home.||||Specs:||The rooms were great, we had a nice view of the street and patio. ||Great Location (Proximity to Paulista Ave. and Metro - in addition to the food, diners, and bakeries all within a short walking distance).||There's a back patio (attached to the laundry room) that has a beautiful view of one of Sao Paulo's many skylines.||Complimentary breakfast.||Free Wifi

I can easily describe this hostel as a peaceful place in the heart of São Paulo. The staff is amazing, kind and helpful. The rooms are very clean and tidy, the breakfast is really enjoyable.||I was astonished by the cozy environment and the price - it's really cheap.||Near the Paulista Avenue, I would definitely go for it again.

Pousada is located in the Italian neighbourhood of São Paulo and about 1 km from Paulista Avenue. Great staff, very good buffet breakfast, clean and comfortable beds, smallish rooms, nice common areas making it a great value for São Paul and safe area to walk. Loved our stay.

Yelp
Wow! This place has B&B/Inn quality service at the price of a hostel. Some highlights: -24/7 front desk -Clean linens, common spaces, etc. -Great internet service -Warm-hearted staff, who speak very good English, and are knowledgeable about the area -Great location, though not directly on the main road (means it's quiet) -Consistent, basic breakfast -Lots of places to have privacy for phone calls/reflection, etc.
