Pousada Lua Bela

We booked Lua Bela for six days. Unfortunately, due to a death in the family we had to leave on the second day of our stay. |The hotel staff was very caring in understanding our situation (Fernanda and Alessandro) and was able to accommodate our needs with full reimbursement not only for the unused days but also for some of the local trips we had already paid for.|The hotel is lovely with some newly refurbished bungalow. Fernanda is responsible for booking the local trips and could not be lovelier. The rooms are cozy with great air-conditioning, a comfy bed and good shower and nice amenities. There is a nice pool with a sea view. We do hope we can go back to Fernando de Noronha and will definitely stay again at Lua Bela.|

Wonderful experience. I really had a great time while staying there. We were greeted with a bottle of sparkling wine, which was a nice touch. The bedroom was very clean and it was lovely. The sheets and towels were really comfortable and clean as well. And there is a espresso machine in the bedroom, so it was pretty much heaven for me. The staff was great, especially Luciana and Lucas who helped us a lot and gave all the assistance we needed. The breakfast is not out of this world; it’s simple, but well done. The pool was great and it was nice hanging out there (with a bottle of wine, of course), before going out for dinner.

The best location , love the breakfast , afternoon Tea ! Very clean and the staff very nice ! I would love to comeback to the same place , The pool is very welcome and the view is breath taking !!!! Almost forget , they are very fast in providing service .

The Lua Bela is pretty much in the middle of the Island. It's located off the main road so it's quiet. It's close to a variety of restaurants within walking distance and if you are in good shape, with a pair of good footwear, you can walk anywhere. Staff are great. Rooms are clean. Grounds are clean. The infinity pool is great to relax in. Breakfast is included but they also have a snack time between 4-6PM where you can get some food; this was a surprise to us. I highly recommend this Pousada. If we go again, we'll be staying here.

First the staff is top notch above and beyond service. They speak English fluently, and recommended the best guide in the island, Tapyoca is his name, explained the fixed taxi fare, changed my dollar to real, and were on hand to all of our needs. Chefs prepared any type of eggs or tapioca crepe and had fresh cakes, bread and fruit all day. Wheelchair access was a plus; we didnt need one but we are familiar since we both have family with special needs. If you go to the map of the Island, They cleaned the pool everyday and have hammocks I even met the owner Claudio who was down to earth and loves sailing. Lua Bela is right in the center. We were lucky because we liked to walk and we walked to most of our destination from the Pousada. It is a 2-3 mile walk to the beach but convenient stores, shopping and restaurants were within a mile away. Why take a taxi (no Uber) and save $R20-30 for a mile drive. We were lucky to have the last room (18) because it was 5 feet away from the pool and a great view of Morro do Pico. Once the AC and curtains are up, you cant hear or see anyone outside. There is a dinner restaurant next door in case you do not want to walk the mile or 2. I've been visiting Brazil for 20 years and Noronha is the best place I've ever been . Granted it is more expensive (but the dollar was strong) but I felt safe since the island has only 3000 people and pre test of COVID was mandatory to and from the ISLAND. There were no violence whatsoever (in comparison to RIO and SP). Now I understand why it is called the the paradise of Brazil.

Excellent location, comfortable and new accommodations, very good breakfast and afternoon tea buffets and a very kind and welcoming staff. The best we can expect in NORONHA without any doubt. Special mention to the reception staff: Eddy, Julio and Gabriel! And also a recommendation to Fofinho for helping with cleansing goods for our diving equipment! ;)

Superb inn at the heart of Fernando de Noronha. Extremely comfortable, with a wide room and a week design infrastructure with you plan to stay more than three days. Offers breakfast and a afternoon snack with lots of choices. Excelent attending and service, specially from Raìssa and Nina, the receptionists. Phenomenal kitchen service. We recommend and will be back for sure.

Absolutely gorgeous setting for a beautiful pousada. The staff is very friendly and can accommodate English speakers well, and the included breakfast is also better than expected. There is nothing to complain about regarding Pousada Lua Bela, and to include all the positives would take paragraphs.
