Pousada Maravilha I had the pleasure of experiencing true paradise at Pousada Maravilha. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional and heartfelt. Walle provided concierge service at the highest level professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in curating the perfect experience. His welcoming tone made every part of the trip smoother and more enjoyable. Each morning was lifted by Jaja’s incredible energy. The friendly warmth, the genuine happiness, and the kindness that greeted us at breakfast set the tone for the entire day. Even though I don’t speak Portuguese, the team was patient, encouraging, and helped me learn along the way. Amber and both Leticias delivered outstanding service that truly made our stay feel like a vacation in every sense. Thank you, ladies, for making us feel so cared for. Hoel provided a Michelin-star level dining experience and kudos to the chef, who kept us wonderfully fed with a delicious Noronha twist. Though I didn’t interact much with the groundskeepers and cleaning staff, their work spoke for itself. The property was always pristine and picture-perfect. I also want to highlight Diego, whose calm and tranquil demeanor helped center us and gently reminded us that we were truly on vacation. His presence rounded out the experience perfectly. Lastly, I want to acknowledge the owner for being personable, welcoming, and ensuring this was a truly unforgettable experience for us. Pousada Maravilha has set a new standard for hospitality, and I cannot wait to return.

All the hotels on Noronha are small. 4-10 rooms. This is one of the best (most expensive) and is a lovely place to spend your time on the island. What really makes it special is the team - especially Wally and Leticia - who make you feel incredibly welcome and help you squeeze everything out of your stay on the island. Total stars. Although closer to the airport than most hotels (2 min drive), but you would have no idea of that. We didn't seen a plane apart from the ones we arrived and left on (and there are very few flights per day). The hotel also has first rate 'facilities' given its size. Wifi is good enough if you need to do a videoconference, each room streams multiple TV channels (we watched a lot of US Open), and there is an air-conditioned running machine with a view, if you'd rather not run in the heat.||So would wholeheartedly recommend Maravilha. What's more complex is Noronha. It is universally reviewed as a stunning beautiful marine paradise. And is IS absolutely stunning. But it's also logistically hard to get to (will probably be much of a day spent travelling each way), and 50% more expensive than the mainland (and less great for dining quality). That's an inevitable cost for being on a remote island (and it is still much cheaper than equivalent Caribbean islands). BUT it's not a no brainer whether to make this part of your vacation if it's multi-location, rather than just your return trip from SP. We loved it. Stunning beaches and lots of nature to explore. But Brazil is so full of treasures, you'll need to decide whether the price/travel is worth it to include this one.||Until you're there, you also don't think about other aspects of the location. There is no operating theatre on the island - any complex medical event will require evacuation by plane. So if your health needs make that a risk, be aware that it is hours away from a full hospital. I am also in 2 minds about the merits of the 'buggies'. They look cool, and my son adored it. But they are hell to drive, and felt very unsafe (I am not a fraidy-cat normally). Taxis are a perfectly good option.

Could not fault the staff they were all excellent ,friendly and helpful especially with booking trips and taxis. As a none Portuguese speaker the reception staff were able to speak in English which made things so easy for us. |The pool area is beautiful and breakfast delicious especially as it is served until 2 pm which we found really helpful if doing an early morning activity. My one slight criticism, we stayed in room 218 was the shower room and toilet area was not in fitting with the rest of the hotel !

It’s historically the list beautiful Pousada in the Island. The reception, deck and pool have an unbeatable view of the Atlantic Ocean. Sadly the beach below the hotel is closed to swimmers. We were in a family room with two beds with a mezzanine floor above for our children. Our rooms are I. Desperate need a refresh in turms of decoration, bathrooms, electrics etc. They were nothing like the hotel reception or pool area. The Pousada is small so it’s perfect for families but maybe not for couples on honeymoon. There is very little space and no privacy. The staff are friendly and very helpful providing advice and bookings for very reliable local taxi’s restaurants, booking snorkeling gear etc. Should I return I would ask the Pousada reception staff to arrange all my outings and excursions. The hotel operator I used was unprofessional and disorganized .The hotel is booked on a bed and breakfast basis. The breakfast is varied and abundant. Sadly everything else needs to be paid separately even the drinking water in the bedrooms. This is incorrect given that the tap water is not drinkable. We ate dinner at the Pousada once, sadly the sunsets on the other side of the island so there is no view. The food is good, expensive and the service is very slow.

My family stayed here 5 nights and it was absolutely wonderful. The view and location is incredible and the room and buildings are beautiful. Beds were so comfortable and the breakfast was so good. But really what made it special was the staff. Everyone was so kind and friendly and helpful. They seem to authentically enjoy their jobs and made us feel so welcome. We looked forward to seeing their faces everytime we came back to the hotel after a day out or went to sit for a meal. This was a special trip for our 20th anniversary and staying here really did make it special. (Also, they say they are the best restaurant on the island and they may not be wrong!)

Thank you so much for this great week.||The biggest positive point of our stay was the staff. All were extremely attentive, remembered and cared for our every need. You are lucky to have such a team.||The breakfast are very nice, the restaurante in general was the best we have seen in Noronha, and we really liked the daily chocolates in the room.|The pousada generally is fantastic and there is little to improve overall.

A luxury pousada with a wonderful view. Staff is very professional, attentive and extremely kind thus providing an outstanding service. Last but not least the restaurant offers one of the finest cuisine in the island.

Everyone super polite and the food was really good. Leticia was so pontual on picking us up at airport and helping us with our reservations and we love our guide his name was Fernando

We didn't actually stay at the pousada, but rather stopped there for lunch and separately for dinner. We recommend just going there for the view one afternoon for lunch. The food was okay and many of the items on the already small menu weren't available.
