Very interesting art and giant shell chandelier in the dining room made a good first impression. We had many choices of local fruit for the caipifrutas and many interesting northeastern dishes to choose from. We had grilled vegetables with okra, a tiny squash called maxixi and more familiar ones like broccoli, etc. For our mains we split arrumadinho: sun dried meat, beans, Brazilian salsa and farofa. So tasty! The second main was Baiao de dois: filet mignon covered in a delicious Parmesan sauce, salad, and a mix of black eyed peas, rice, and fried calabrese. Mmm, mmm. Too full for dessert, we ordered cafezinho which came with a cinnamon stick to stir and cocada quemada. Definitely worth a trip.
