From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Maria, whose professionalism and genuine care made us feel truly at home. She was always available to assist us, ensuring every detail of our stay was perfect.|A Slice of Paradise nestled in lush greenery, offering breathtaking views of the ocean (a true haven for relaxation). Waking up with the sunrise light filtering through the trees and reflecting off the water was an unforgettable experience. One of my favorite moments was unwinding in the hammock on our panoramic balcony surrounded by nature. It became my personal sanctuary where I enjoyed some spiritual reflection and even savored a cigar or two, all while listening to the sounds of the forest and ocean. We loved Pousada Naturalia. Beautiful, clean, comfortable, quiet, air conditioned, lovely breakfast and tea/cake in the afternoons. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and we loved our little balcony. But the staff really made it - the service was exceptional, so friendly, so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Definitely the place to stay if you’re visiting Ilha Grande - we can’t recommend it highly enough!

We had a wonderful three night stay in this well located pousada. ||Everything worked very smoothly right from the very clear and helpful check in process. Many of the staff spoke excellent English and, despite our own poor Portuguese, we managed fine with everyone else. ||Our room was very clean and comfortable and the ocean views from the balcony were stunning. ||The food was a particular highlight with copious fresh fruit, delicious juices and great cakes, pastries, eggs, cheese etc at breakfast. ||Afternoon tea was also provided and was greatly appreciated by all. ||The pousada is a short walk out of the town centre but there are several bars and restaurants close by and the walk into town is safe and easy. It was very quiet and peaceful at night when the only ‘disturbance’ was the sound of the waves and the birds’ dawn chorus. ||Absolutely top notch!

The hotel was beautiful crafted into the hillside with stunning views of the sea. Breakfast was lovely, and afternoon tea and cake was a pleasant surprise. Staff were very helpful, professional and friendly - even giving us soap, shampoo and towels for a shower after a hike after we'd checked out. The hotel boat tour was amazing and would fully recommend as a cheaper option than the tours you can get in town. While on the edge of town, it's a 2 min walk to the beach and bars but you enjoy the peace and quiet of a nighttime and wake up to beautiful noises from nature. The hotel also has a bird table where we saw lots of local birdlife including hummingbirds and Brazilian tanagers! The food was also vegan and GF friendly but had a lot of meat options. After a month of travelling the hotel and ilha grande were a welcome respite.

My husband and I stayed at this pousada for 3 nights and we absolutely loved it. It’s tucked away quietly and backs onto the rainforest. We had an ocean view room with a gorgeous balcony and hammock. The staff were so helpful and informative. The breakfasts included is lovely with fresh fruit juices, fresh fruit, cakes, eggs and hot and cold options. They also provide a daily complimentary coffee and cake service at 4:30pm. They offer a boat tour, at an extra cost, of the island, with a minimum of 4 guests and a maximum of 7 guests, where you get to swim, snorkel and have beach time around the island as well as an incredible fresh seafood lunch. We saw turtles and lots of fish while snorkelling. We absolutely recommend the tour as it makes a big difference with a small number of guest as opposed to some other boat tours with 60 plus people and music blasting. They allow you to bring your own beverages on the boat and they have a cooler to keep the drinks cold. Our experience here was just lovely and we would absolutely recommend this pousada to anyone looking for a tranquil, relaxing and eco focused experience.

Having travelled from Rio this Pousada was like an oasis. Hidden from the beach in the coolness of trees it was a delight to find. We had a friendly welcome where English is understood. Room was comfortable and breakfast with fresh fruit, homemade yoghurt, cakes etc was delicious. The staff couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay here was enjoyable. And it was.

Clean rooms with great views. Very comfortable and large balcony with a hammock. The service is very attentive and knowledgeable about activities on the island. The breakfast was always fresh and well stocked.
