Good price-quality relation. Didn't have soap or conditioner ( wish supposed to be included). Otherwise, it's good. Splendid breakfasts. The room has no windows and you can hear all the sounds from the hallways. The person who attended us was nice.||I would come back

The location is hard to beat. It's on a pretty quiet street just a couple of blocks from everything in Pelourinho. The staff was extremely friend. The building is really lovely. Breakfast was delicious and varied, served on the rooftop terrace, which had really nice views. ||My friend and I booked a private room w/bath, which clearly doubles as a dorm-style room when needed, since it had 4 beds (including 2 bunks). We appreciated the refrigerator for water and snacks. It was an excellent value.||It is an old building though, and while clean, the age definitely shows, especially in the rooms. Outlets were few and recessed - we had trouble getting most of our adapters to fit. The internet was ok, but cut out periodically, requiring that you join one of the other property networks - fine for our vacation purposes but wouldn't support a remote work situation. ||The bathroom was small, and in our top-floor room, the water pressure was low, and the bathroom door/doorway wasn't a good fit anymore, so the door wouldn't stay completely closed and the lock didn't work. I was traveling with a friend, so no big deal for us, but could be awkward under other circumstances. ||No deal breakers, especially for a hostel facility, but some minor inconveniences. I would stay again under similar circumstances.

I stay at Hostel Pedacinho da Bahia with my wife and my mother-in-law for 7 days in January 2017. I really liked the experience. Mr. Roberto was very helpful. Everyday he would tell us the interesting things that is happening in the city.||The rooms where clean and confortable. The breakfast awesome.||The Hostel is very close to Pelorinho (Historical Center).||Before I booked, I saw that some reviews mentioned an ally between the Hostel and Pelorinho and some people were concerned about security. But everyday and every night there was policeman securing the area.||I am sure that everyone that choose this hotel will have a very good experience.

Rooms are clean, modern and comfortable with a TV, fridge, air-conditioning and places to hang you clothes and towels. Breakfast was on the rooftop terrace with views of Pelourinho, with lots of tasty options and eggs cooked to order. Wifi was strong and fast. Staff were very friendly.||Location is just out of the the old town, so you are not disturbed by the noise at night but can walk there in a couple of minutes. The police park in the lot behind the Posada and stand on the corner of the street leading out of the old town and up to the Posada. It is well lit also, with a fancy Pousada across the road also, so we thought it was safe. Like everywhere though, there was occasionally a homeless man collapsed on the street.||The price was very good value.

Newly renovated, family run hostel in a neglected part of the Pelourinho district, outside the main tourist-area. Room small, very cramped for two, window faces indoor corridor so no natural light and lack of privacy. Very clean, beds comfortable. Reasonably appointed for a hostel with air conditioner and TV but room so tiny it did not encourage you to spend extended periods in it apart from to sleep. Poor Wi-Fi with scant coverage and frequent drop outs. Kitchen reasonably clean to prepare own meals, adequately equipped. Accommodating staff, walked us to the stadium so we would not get lost. Good communication from staff via email. High standard breakfast for a hostel, mostly continental items, no hot food. On site parking, free.||||This area of Pelourinho is sadly very unpleasant, poorly lit, unpoliced and dangerous at night. Locals refused to walk with us to find the hostel in the dark, we were approached by extremely juvenile prostitutes walking home and another guest was robbed right in front of the hostel during our stay. Despite the earnest efforts of its owners to create a good value, inviting hostel, this overtly threatening element is unquestionably a deal-breaker.||||I cannot recommend this hostel to other travellers and would not stay here again.||||DETAILS: Group of friends, 2 males, mid-20's. 2 nights in private twin room with private bathroom. June 2014 (n.b. DURING WORLD CUP). Paid US$300 total (I.e. $150/night).

I liked this place because it was close enough to Pelourinho (3 min walk) but far enough from it so that you can actually sleep at night and not get any of the noise going on in the many parties of the city center. The place is new, modern and clean and the guy who attended us (who seemed to be there 24h a day) was really nice, happy and helpful. The breakfast buffet was extensive and good. However, try to get a room on the second floor which is a bit further away from the reception.

The Pedacinho da Bahia is a awesome place. The staff are lovely. Breakfast was great and Fabiana was a terrific host and so polite. She made our stay warm and friendly which set us up for carnival in the best way! Would highly recommend! ||

This hostel is close to the historic centre of pelourinho. The staff are all very friendly without exception. They have a midnight curfew for coming back for the night which I disagree with, however the guy was actually flexible with this anyway so consequently it never inhibited us. |Very clean and comfortable rooms and a reasonably good breakfast. Would stay again.
