Pousada Remanso

We spent there 3 nights as it was recommended by a tour guide who helped us with Pantanal tours (Gil's Pantanal Discovery). It's a very good pousada located by the main street of Bonito but the rooms don't face the street so it's not noisy at all. Staff is so friendly and always ready to help. Special thanks to Silvio who checked us in. Breakfast is really good. Wi-Fi working well. Nice pool. I only missed a veranda with a private hammock. It would be perfect then.

our room was a deluxe one, was big with big bathroom, fridge, forniture was simple but new, flat tv (with few channels). There are rooms upstairs and other downstairs, I believe that there are not elevator. Our room was in a separate building, looks like new. Breakfast was fine, with natural juices, lots of choices with great taste, only few hot options. Location was great, 5 minutes on foot to town center, restaurants and shops. Safe place as all the town. At night the shops only closed with simple glass door, lots of tourist around town center at lest until 21.00h. Staff friendly. Hotel works as a travel agent if you need, they did our reservations for snorkel and transport to these activities and trip to campo grande airport. Town laundry company can clean your clothes if you ask about. This service was good and not expensive.

Our stay here was part of our Pantanal and Bonito tour organised through Eco adventures travel. Bonito was our favourite place in Brazil and this Pousada is not bad if you want somewhere cheap and clean.||This Pousada is located on the main street in Bonito so it is within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The room was clean but small, the bathroom was absolutely tiny. The breakfast buffet was good and there is free wifi. Staff are very helpful and friendly Only suggestion would be more English TV channels. It rained quite a few nights we were in Bonito so we spent a bit of time in the room and it would have been good to watch some TV. |

This pousada is of a higher standard than some posadas. It is quite large and really more like a small hotel. The beds and bedding are of a high standard. The towels are thick and clean. In fact the entire pousada is very clean. The buffet breakfast is of a very high standard and includes western indulgences such as cereal and a toaster. The juices are freshly squeezed. There is a nice little pool Ina sunny spot. There is a nice recreational area with hammocks. It was very quiet at night so I slept well. Air conditioning brazillian tv sufficient lighting to read and very friendly accommodating staff. I would recommend this pousada

Nothing to write home about, but it provided us with a clean room and extremely nice and helpful staff in a central location at a very reasonable price. That’s good enough for me. One advice though: If you have an activity scheduled for VERY early in the morning, let them know you will be having breakfast early. They say breakfast starts at 6 am, but that was not our experience, more like 6:20-6:30 am.

Lovely little pousada on the main street of Bonito. Very friendly staff and very clean room. Good shower. Check in very effortless, rooms were quiet with no noise. Nice little pool if you have kids too. A superb find!

We stayed 5 nights in Pousada Remanso doing lots of Eco tours in the surrounding area. Bonito is off the beaten tourist path for English speaking tourists, so it was no surprise that many on the staff did not speak English. But a few did, with Silveo and Agusto doing the most.||||Our room was average size and had both a double bed and a single bed in it, in addition to a mini fridge. There was no safe in the room. The bathroom was smallish, and our shower only had luke warm water during our stay (but we didn't mention this to management, so maybe that could have been changed).||||Our room was in the separate building by the car parking lot (motorcycles parked in a different place), and our friend who had a room on the upper level said she was bothered by street noise a bit, while we weren't bothered by it downstairs.||||The breakfast was good, with fruit, scrambled eggs, coffee and juices, in addition to another couple of hot items, and a nice choice of bread and muffins, plus yogurt and cereal.||||The pool was nice, with sunshine in the morning, changing to all shade in the afternoon. There were 2 depths to the pool, but no ladder, so getting out was a big step up from the shallow portion.||||Coffee and tea were on a table in the patio area (where the hammocks were) all day.||||The staff went out of their way to try and accommodate our requests, and we appreciated that. Their restaurant suggestions were good. We had a problem with the free WiFi in the separate building, but once we were able to communicate the problem to the staff, that was fixed. The WiFi in the patio area always worked.||||We would stay here again.

This is a lovely pousada with clean rooms and lovely outside sitting areas. The staff is so polite, friendly and efficient! The pool is somewhat small, with a small area to sit around it. The breakfast was delicious, plentiful and varied.
