Pousada Vila Canoa

Best location directly on the beach with private access. The service team is very friendly and helpful and tries to fulfill all requests. Very lovingly prepared breakfast. The rooms are okay and clean, in general the property could use a new color. We had a good time here and would definitely recommend it.

This was our second time at Vila Canoa, it has amazing view of the beach from the rooms and from the breakfast area. ||Barraca Tiki Beach is part of this Pousada so usually we go down to the beach and have our meals and drinks there, also before when we stayed at other places. This is the best place to spend your say and night.

We stayed for four nights at Villa Canoa and loved it. The scenery is lovely - right at the beach with a beautiful view over the ocean. The bungalows are lovely and all have AC. Breakfast is simply amazing - loads of fresh fruits and juices, amazing Tapiocas and many more delights (e.g., little pieces of pizza) - and is served on the terrace, i.e., you have a beautiful view over the ocean. The Pousada’s beach is really nice - the perfect place to chill out (sun beds, umbrellas, great for a dip/swim and very attentive service in case you want to have a drink/something to eat). All in all Erik (the host) and his team do a great job - you always feel very welcome and they help you with any questions you might have (e.g., organizing transport from the airport/to your next stop). In case you do not speak Portuguese Erik will answer all your questions in perfect English. We would definitely recommend Villa Canoa (and also Canoa Quebrada in general) and will definitely return!

This Pousada is fantastic while still being a work in progress. The location and the views can't be beat. There are small things that need to be updated throughout, but nothing that would prevent me from staying here again. The owners are great people and will do everything they can to make sure you enjoy your time.

I was the first time in Canoa during the world cup. It was so amazing, that i returned there for my next vacation for this november 2014 again.||In my opinion, the pousada vila canoa is the best place in canoa, it is the only one direct at the beach and with its own barraca (beach bar/restaurant).||The pousada itself is managed by a dutch man (Eric) and his excellent team. All of them are very very friendly and helpful. You can feel as your home.||The rooms will be cleaned very fine, in spite of the salt by the ocean. ||I loved the breakfast every day. You get so many fruits and fresh juices, and at the same time you can enjoy the amazing view to the sea.||The barraca by the beach is perfect, good music, not so overcrowded, good drinks and food.||The broadway with all the bars and restaurants is 5 minutes by walking off. ||||I can recommend the vila canoa without any doubts. You will enjoy your vacation beginning with the first hour there. We have come here only for laying at the beach, hence this review is only about the Barraca (we did not stay in the Pousada). The place ist great for relaxing comfortably right t the beach. ||The staff is very nice with excellent service. Some of the staff even speak english which was helpful. ||Prices are reasonable for the food you get! We ate here several times and it always tasted good. You must Try the Caipirinha....We would definitely come here again.

My husband and I spent one week in your pousada. We had a great time. The place and the view is beautiful and all people very kind and friendly. The location couldn't be better. The beach at only one step and the famous "Broadway" next to the pousade. We hope to be back very soon. Thanks for everything.

Recently spent three nights at Vila Canoa. Comfortable accommodation, excellent breakfasts. Their beach Barraca - Tika Barraca offers ice cold beer and first class food with cheerful first class staff. Social distancing is carried out by the pousada and most people follow the rules. Beach is miles of open space and a great walk in either direction.
