Pousada itself is nice with large enough and clean rooms, good showers, and the rooms come with a small balcony with a hammock. Wifi is slow and often doesn't work at all in the rooms, but is okay in the reception area. There is a little pool too. Other than one person, no staff speaks English or Spanish, but that is normal for Brazil (as I came to realise with time). The walls are quite thin, so if you're a light sleeper, you may want to consider earplugs. The location is close to the beach, but a little away from the centre, about 5-10mins to walk - perfectly okay during the day, however the roads are barely lit at night, so it feels a little lonely and weird, though not completely unsafe, to walk back at night.
