5 minutes walk from town this Pousada is very conveniently located, it is a sweet, quaint, Pousada, with very friendly people working there. We had the ground floor room which has its own veranda with hammock and picnic table. We couldn't quite work it out but there are very young children there every night, and early morning..so lots of chatter/noise. TV on in evening too, but all is quiet after 10 pm. We did go in the off season so Pousada was in sleepy/relaxed mode, not sure if it is like this all the time, nice breakfast every morning until 10am.||I would recommend that they have a word with their cleaning staff, the bathrooms could have done with a better scrub down, they were cleaned every day but needed that extra attention.and rooms could have done with a more thorough clean. If you want a big fluffy towel, take your own, small tread bare towels offered. We stayed 7 nights.

We stayed 6 days at Casa Zasa and had a very comfortable and relaxing stay in a beautiful, spacious and clean room. It was cleaned every day, fresh towels every second and fresh bed (good mattress) sheets every third day. Breakfast was rich and varied from day to day. The Dutch owner Eddie was outstanding nice and helpful. ||The pousada is painted in vivid colours and lovely decorated.||If we ever come back to Itacaré (what we'll definetly try to do ;-) ), we will definitely stay at Eddies place!

Well situated near beaches and the famous Pituba but yet very calm. Ideal for who wants to be active (swimming, walking, shopping, ...) and likes to relax in a comfortable surrounding. Very warm welcome by the english speaking staff and manager. Extremly helpful advices about places to visit and how to get there. Rich breakfast buffet and additional oportunity to order freshly prepared dishes like scumbled eggs and tapioca. Extremly friedly ambience and great help in organizing the continuation of the trip. A staff who literally cares about you!

Pousada itself is nice with large enough and clean rooms, good showers, and the rooms come with a small balcony with a hammock. Wifi is slow and often doesn't work at all in the rooms, but is okay in the reception area. There is a little pool too. Other than one person, no staff speaks English or Spanish, but that is normal for Brazil (as I came to realise with time). The walls are quite thin, so if you're a light sleeper, you may want to consider earplugs. The location is close to the beach, but a little away from the centre, about 5-10mins to walk - perfectly okay during the day, however the roads are barely lit at night, so it feels a little lonely and weird, though not completely unsafe, to walk back at night.

From my first contact with Pousada Casa Zaza I felt taken care of. Eddy's responses were prompt and very helpful. Once I arrived, I was very pleased with property, being well kept, clean and colorful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The pool an extra added treat. Breakfast abundant and delicious. Location very convenient. I will be staying there again when in Itacare and highly recommend it to others. Thanks Eddy for all the help!!!

This wasn't the first time staying in Pousada Zaza. We love the location, the pretty garden, the deck chairs along the swimming pool, the short distance to Praia da Concha and, above all, the excellent cafe de manha. Add to this the warm hearted service of Fernando and his wife and you understand why we are happy with staying here. I informed Dutch Eddy, the former owner, that the quality of his hospitality concept is as good as ever if not better. See you again Fernando.

We really do recommend this charming pousada, owned by Eddy and his family. Nice rooms with a/c, a small pool and a beautiful terrace with hamacs to relax. Eddy will give you precious hints concerning your stay at Itacare. The pousada is two minutes walk away from the beach and 5 minutes from the center. You will feel at home right away- and if you are lucky you might get one of Eddy's famous caipirinhas ;-)||If you want to learn surfing go to "Local Surf School" and ask for Adriano.

Correct for the price. Employees are nice and garden is beautiful. The rooms are ok but a bit too basic and would need to be refreshed (holes from previous equipments in walls, former HVAC still installed, only one light bulb on the ceiling...).
