A nice pasty shop in Toulouse. Can’t say they have the best ever ever cakes, however, they are definitely worth exploring and trying all of them! I really enjoyed their macarons. They have 12 different flavors so you have to try all of them to pick your favorite. Overall, I encourage everyone to pay a visit to this place and try as much as possible :)

We came here to try the macaroons, which were excellent. The passion fruit and chocolate was specifically delicious. The sugar dipped clementine was also very tasty.

It is such a nice patisserie with full different desserts. I had eclair and they gave me vanilla macaron as a gift. Both were so delicious. Thank you so much.

We stumbled upon Au Poussin Bleu after seeing so many people around Toulouse carrying their signature blue and white cake boxes, and we just had to see what all the fuss was about. We’re so glad we did! We decided to try their galette de rois, not knowing exactly what to expect—was it savory or sweet? Well, it turned out to be the most delicious frangipane tart we’ve ever tasted! The pastry was buttery and flaky, and the frangipane filling was perfectly balanced—not too sweet, just a lovely, rich almond flavor that melted in our mouths. It was absolute perfection. We enjoyed our galette right in front of the Capitole, and the whole experience made for a truly memorable day in Toulouse. Highly recommend stopping by Au Poussin Bleu if you’re in town.

The place has a good touch of vintage and French style. Bought a Frangipane for six person (32 euro) and the taste is excellent

Poussin Bleu has an attractive looking storefront displaying good-looking pastries. Passersby might not all be sugar aficionados, but the displays will - at the very least - capture their attention, as it did mine. I cannot judge if the pastries are as good as they all look because I only had a tiny sample, but I'll gladly go back for more.

Best macarons ever! It was my first time trying macarons in France, and I never knew they could taste this good

I love Poussin Bleu for the delicious macarons. The individual flavors pop and they have a perfect chew while still being very light. The best I've had in the city!

Yelp
My husband and I stopped here for a quick bite after a trip to the Préfecture. What a delightful find. As is usually the case here in France, there was a wonderful assortment of the usual pastries and bread - baguettes, croissants, eclairs, etc. Hubby really enjoyed his eclair. However, what makes this a standout are the macarons. There have about a dozen different types. We bought chocolate, pistachio, raspberry, creme brûlée, and cassis. All were well-made - crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. My favorites are cassis (simultaneously tart and sweet) and the creme brûlée, which was filled with a yummy buttercream. I am thankful that this is not near my house. I would put on 10 pounds in a week scarfing these down. A must visit in Toulouse.

Yelp
Macaroons are yummy. Hard not to over buy. Seemed pricey but not sure if that's the market rate.

Yelp
Need to bring home some macaroon at the end of my business trip. Found this place online and gave it a try. The look of the macraoon is not as nice as the one you would get typically from the stores, but it shore is better taste than any one I ever had. the crunchy exterior with chewy center is exactly what I just like.
