Powder Hound Pizza

Good to see new digs, finally. It's a comfortable, half-sports--half ski apres, set up. Honestly, well thought out for a tourist area. Had a meatball grinder for lunch, and it was fine. And I liked the option for Tim's Jalapeno chips as a side. All the young crew working there on a busy Sat afternoon were great. All smiles, good banter with the diners, just a good mood bunch, and that made the stop memorable for me. This joint has Sand Creek/Sandpoint written all over it...

Hungry after snowboarding. Food was pretty much fire and service was fast. Had the parmesan garlic wings and Thors hammer pizza. Started with salads.

Awesome local pizza place! They have happy hour specials on drinks and apps. I don’t remember the details. Pizza was delicious!

The pizza here is definitely pricey, but it’s so worth it! We did try some other items, but they were disappointing. We ordered two types of wings (buffalo and garlic Parmesan), and neither were good. The buffalo didn’t taste like buffalo at all—they told us it was a dry rub, but honestly, it had no flavor. The garlic Parmesan wings were extremely greasy. We also tried a salad, and it was wilted from the overwhelming amount of dressing, which made it unappetizing. Bottom line: the pizza is absolutely amazing, but the rest of the menu doesn’t live up to it. Go for the pizza and skip everything else.

10 out of 10 recommend. Food was great pretty quick service. Cool ski town vibe loved it. They even supplied diapers for a diaper changing station which ive never seen before awesome!

Was my favorite pizza place..but their quality and service has gone way down. Ordered a pizza two weeks ago and had barely any sauce on it at all. Went in day before yesterday and let the manager know this and ordered the same pizza. I made a point to order it with extra sauce. It still had very little sauce on it. I live out of town so I wasn't about to turn around and drive back into Sandpoint. Called the following to let the manager know this and was put on hold for 15 minutes. Finally gave up and hung up. UPDATE..went in this evening ( the parking lot was empty) and ordered my usual Hawaiian and the spicy Thai...they were both delicious..hoping the last few times were just an off day.

My wife and I both had the Thor's hammer pizza tonight. I have the gluten-free and I think it's the best gluten-free pizza I've ever had. I have to tell you Thor's hammer hit the nail on the head. Place is hopping, super busy, everybody having a great time enjoying your incredible pizza.

Tried their Bobcat Veggie pizza and made it vegan. This is the most loaded pizza I’ve ever had! A large size should be sufficient for 3 people. The staff was really nice, they have plenary of seating area. The wait time was about 35 minutes on a Sunday afternoon.
