Google
It has a good selection of specialty stores, clothing stores and high end outlets. There’s a supermarket and lots of food options and restaurants at the basement and top floor. Other resto’s & coffee shops in the periphery. There are banks and ATM machines. Good security. Onsite parking available.

December 2025 Rockwell's upscale mall that has been there for a while and has undergone some expansion through the years. It's original wing was a straightforward layout of a moderate size and since then it has added a few wings and additional outdoor establishments. Most visitors are the foreign and senior citizen crowds.

Google
Upscale retail selection, good food, and laid-back atmosphere. Place is almost never crowded. Most anticipated are their Christmas decorations that start as early as September and I would say it has the best Christmas décor among higher end malls within the Metro.

This is our first time at OOMA in Rockwell, and it doesnt disappoint our expectations sa foods nila. Everything we ordered is masarap, all the staffs our very appealing and accomodatind. They let you feel at home while you dine in., i highly recommend this Japanese Restau to everyone, also this place is really good feel to eat...Great Job OOMA..delicious food and Very nice Staffs..

Hearing the name I was totally expecting some kind of old power plant renovated into a mall, I was very curious on the plant factor till I was told its a luxury mall where the wealthy enjoy and I might even see celebrities shopping. It has a simple layout but the design of the place is beautiful and it is good to walk all over the place to appreciate the different parts.

Google
Very well maintained place. Perfect for early walk or jog because they close one side of the road to be used for exercise. Powerplant mall itself has luxury stalls and grocery.

The christmas decorations make this mall feel so fancy and warm. There are many shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Very convenient !

Yelp
Loved this mall - it has a lot of great regional shops and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas!

Yelp
Nice spot for shopping and to grab food! The mall is generally clean and well maintained. It may not be the largest mall in the area but there are lots of food options on the bottom floor. Also, the shops are great! They have Zarah Juan-- I'm obsessed with her boutique and the bags that are more of an artwork than an accessory. Also, Frankie and Friends general store which has a lot of cute Filipino handcrafted items to give as gifts or for your own use.
google avatar

Yelp
It's a small, high-end mall in Makati. Most of the food options are on the bottom floor. We weren't happy with how cramped the food court was. It was rather difficult to weave around all the people to find a seat, and the selection of food options was rather limited. Other than the food court issues, the mall is nice. The decor is quite posh, and the shops were mostly high-end. I found a shop that was selling those expensive tourbillon watches. So, I think the mall suits the area. Compared to some of the other malls in Manila, I just didn't find it all that spectacular when you pulled away the glitz.

Yelp
Power Plant Mall knows how to celebrate Christmas! This mall has everything you need. There's a grocery store, lots of restaurants, hardware store, cellular store(get a Rocket sims card for unlimited data for 499 pesos a month!), movie theater, food court, coffee shops, barber shop, etc! It's also very clean and nicely air conditioned! Make sure you stop by Bruno's and get a massage! I highly recommend that place. It was my Dads favorite spot!

Gerry T.

Yelp
One of my most favorite malls because it's sooo classy and with underground parking and nice restaurants and stores on every floor. I have to admit that I'm attracted more to the eating and food shopping (Rustans) as opposed to shopping for stuff. There's just so much variety but if you come here everyday, it can become rather small - even with the new wing (per my relative who's here everyday), it's not the biggest mall in the Philippines. But it's quality, not quantity...right?!? I also have to comment on how impeccable the restroom staff is at keeping the men's room clean. As a germaphobe, they deserve OCD medals. I first came here in 2003? The mall has actually maintained and improved in appearance, which is awesome.

Yelp
One of my favorite mall when in the Philippines! So clean with so much variety of shops and restaurants! Very clean and organized! Always cone here to eat and shop!

Yelp
A posh mall in the lap of luxury, in the heart Makati (or mine) more specifically north of Makati central business district and is literally across from Mandaluyong, where we normally reside when in Manila, on the Pasig River water front. Closest mall to drive to without having to wander into the deeper veins of congested bumper to bumper sketches. Built in 2000, the interior is tasteful, simple yet articulate with hints of careful attention to elegance that you won't help but notice as you walk through the mall. This Christmas vacation had us in the middle of Manila traffic times 10, however the inside of Power Plant Mall was warm and a lot more easy going than the other surrounding malls in the city. The architectural design behind this is based in Toronto, so naturally I was inclined to love the place even more...arrogantly. Rustan's Market place is located on the same floor with several dining channels showcasing cuisines from all over, with a dozen other coffee shops and restaurants that are designed to thrill the eyes even before your first sip of cappuccino. Like at Rockwell Glasshouse Harlan+Holden surrounded by beautiful landscaping, if you choose outdoors or even indoors. Or how about dine in with your lover at Dean and Deluca, because my tastebuds never partner up right with my lover, this place catered to our cravings as they serve pastries, eggs Benedict, poke bowls and fish curry with rice. Try them all!!! We ordered some takeout for the kids while we finished our glass of wine, which was a choice of fried chicken and pasta (recommended by our servers as popular with the kids) so the service really levelled up the experience at PowerPlant Mall a notch. Parking is really tight, space wise. What would've been a parking space meant for 2 cars here in North America, Manila managed to design for three cars so I had to assist my daughter out of our Fortuner so she doesn't end up dinging the car beside us. There is valet parking though for people who don't wish to stress over how to deal with insurance as the laws here would be entirely different my friend. Or snag a GRAB (Asia's version of Uber). Lastly, for those wanting to get their Sunday Worship duties achieved before you shop, this place has a chapel. I'm one big fan of Jesus so this was great when traditional churches all throughout Manila were packed and congested in light of Christmas season. Also, baby friendly unlike other malls in the city, they've got nursing stations which were cool when baby boy had tantrums, so I was no longer breastfeeding but quiet bottle-feeding calls for faster roads to napping while Mommy and sissy shops.

Yelp
Beautiful mall, very luxe. Small crowds, the largest crowds were on the bottom floor at the eateries. I spent several hours and about 5,000 pesos or ~$90+ at The Spa on the 4th floor. I had a 1/2 HR long Coffee body scrub, a 1 HR long Swedish full body massage, a Peppermint Foot Spa and a deep conditioning hair spa. All of that for under a hundred dollars, which is amazing. I highly recommend Aiza, that was honestly the best massage I've ever had. The facilities are lovely, afterwards had a nice long shower before re-entering the beautiful mall. After that pampering sesh, I was starving and ordered the Green Curry Laing at one of the counters in The Grid. Wasn't sure what 'laing' was when I ordered it, and the cashier explained it as "leaves." Ended up being very creamed spinachy and actually quite similar to a traditional taro leaf dish back home so I wasn't mad. The bits of deep fried pork rind aka chicaron were also nice. If the dish weren't so salty I would've really enjoyed the whole bowl of leaves. The upscale food court The Grid is pretty new and was pretty empty even though it was around 5pm. There's a team of wait staff constantly refilling water and clearing up tables which was also very nice and wouldn't mind going back to try something different. The mall has an impressive range of stores, from electronics to mid-high end brand names. They even make brands like Nespresso look sexy with these showcase-type shops. Overall, I love Power Plant Mall and in the future I will try to book a hotel close by just because. I give it four stars because as lovely a spot it is, it was almost impossible to catch a Grab from the location, like it was almost too upscale for Grabs and taxis. Not that it's the Mall's fault, but it wouldve been nice if it had a courtesy cab service. Also, although I registered my mobile number for the free wifi, it never went through and I wasn't able to connect at all. Will surely be back in the future.

Yelp
It's my first time to be in Power Plant Mall, and seeing how it is, very well kept, warm and lovely ambience, quality stores and food places, the Marketplace, this is definitely one of my favorite malls to be in. Highly Recommended.

Yelp
If you are one of those extreme shoppers one who thrives on discounts and who comes in, swoops down and frantically picks up everything you need in less than an hour, then you could stop reading this. I respect people who behave this way, and even get such spells, but Power Plant Mall is simply not the venue for it. If there is anything I love about this place, it is the pace of life. Unless it's freakin December 24, there is never a need to be frantic. Even during its sale season, it is still noticeably more laid back compared to other shopping centers, may it be high end or otherwise. I just love walking around its well-lit hallways, gazing at displays and finding items I never knew I needed in my life. But make no mistake about it, the place is not all swank. Power Plant may not be a very huge complex but it has the standard mall essentials like bookstores, a drugstore, a hardware a grocery and a deli. Also, there's an adequate selection of restaurants, wine stores, dessert places and watering holes. On weekends, there's even the Bakers' Dozen where passionate pastry chefs sell artisanal goods. See, Power Plant mall is not really a mall. It is an indoor theme park for adults.

Yelp
Power Plant Mall is probably the most homey and intimate mall in Manila. Unlike other malls which are built to be massive and packed with people, Power Plant Mall has just the right size and right amount of people. (Though with the new bridge leading to Mandaluyong, there have been more and more people) What I love about this mall is that you will never get lost or get drowned and drained by the crowd. You can easily walk around the mall and visit all your favorite stores in one afternoon. You're never in a rush to finish your errands and get out of there because the vibe it has is so cozy and pleasant. You wouldn't mind sitting down somewhere for a cup of coffee or getting some merienda with friends and family. It also has everything you need, from clothes stores to book stores to grocery stores to restaurants to a cinema and it even has a chapel for your weekly Sunday mass. It's never boring in Power Plant Mall because it will always have some sort of event at the concourse or even at the tent. And hey, don't forget those bubbly, hip and uniqe set of performers that they often have playing different genre of tunes for the whole mall to hear.

Yelp
Powerplant Mall in Rockwell, Makati is one of my favorite malls to wander around aimlessly in. It is surely one of the more upscale shopping centers in Manila that caters to the local A and B market. The mall houses a good mix of lifestyle and fashion boutiques, interesting and diverse food concepts, a supermarket with a wide assortment of goods and produce, and even a state-of-the-art movie theatre. Occasionally, the mall also organizes interesting events such as bazaars, mini-concerts, pop-up fairs and so much more. The Rockwell Tent, found beside the mall houses such events and it's always a good idea to be on the lookout for these cool gatherings. On the top floor of the mall sits the Powerplant Chapel where Sunday mass is offered to the mall-goers.

Yelp
I like to visit this high end shopping mall in Manila. There are international brands, luxury grocery market, cinema and popular restaurants inside out. Today, I come in particular to search organic products V&M and Neutra Organics in their retail lab! The products are stunning! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Power Plant is one of my favorite malls because of three things: the breathing room, the cinema, and the Fully Booked branch that's in there. When I go to malls, I almost always go only for the shopping and the movies, never really just to spend quality time with another person because usually it's impossible to do so. But with Power Plant, I find myself relaxing when I'm with other people and relishing the moment for its own sake. The fact that Power Plant doesn't get crowded, sometimes at all, puts it up there in my book with Shangri-la Plaza and Podium. It's not that I don't like people, it's just that I want to see where I'm walking when I step, you know? The peace and quiet makes me want to go around more, explore more shops, and unfortunately for me but fortunately for the mall, buy more things. Power Plant can get really festive and colorful during Christmas time, often showcasing a gargantuan Christmas tree along with brightly lit Santas and reindeers to go around. And on regular weekends, they have a fruit market. Definitely check out Power Plant if you have the time!

Yelp
A mall that's perfect in size and contents, intimate yet complete. One of the first things you notice is the people who frequent this place which you have to see and experience to be able to understand. It's like a heartfelt haven for those who aren't too eager to shop but there to possibly enjoy a good meal and do some therapeutic material sightseeing. It's my go-to place when I'm feeling a little bit emotionally under the weather. It's not too crowded and its in a perfect location plus it's never difficult to find parking space.
google avatar

Kate R.

Yelp
I say one of the best malls in the Philippines! There's a lot of malls out there but this one is less crowded, I don't know if it's just me but I always see some "conyos of Manila" here. Haha It is not too big but definitely worth the time to come here to chill and shop a little. A lot of people come to malls just to cool off so you'll see a lot of bystanders, I guess? Don't let them bother you!!! They always have nice decor and easy parking!
google avatar

Mariel F.

Yelp
We have too much malls in this city and even if everyone knows this already, they just won't stop building. I don't know about you but being inside the mall is something that I try my best to avoid. There's just something about being surrounded by too many things (that I cannot buy) that I don't like. Maybe I'm bitter haha but I guess I'd rather do something else. I only go to malls when I want to watch a movie or I need to buy something, otherwise you would find me elsewhere. I do have an exception and it's Powerplant Mall in Rockwell. I think it's the best mall in the country. The size is just right, it's impossible to get lost there and they have pretty good restaurants inside. Also, on weekends you can visit their little food bazaar on the lower ground floor and get a taste of some the best desserts in Manila. This mall is different because it's not like the other mall that claims to have everything or that other one who believes they are more superior.
google avatar

Katrina E.

Yelp
I have a lot of memories in this mall, a lot of dates here too (you know when you're a teenager all you know is to have dates in malls by eating in a restaurant or watching a movie). I would always look forward to going to the top floor so that I could spend a whole afternoon checking out books in Fully Booked. The crowd here compared to other malls seems to be manageable. Although I see more and more people than before. The mall is still one of my favorite malls to go to because it's not that big so you won't get tired running all over the place just trying to enter a store. Although whenever I'm here I'm always bound to know someone. The Makati community is so small that almost everyone goes to this mall every weekend, either for family gatherings or even to hear mass.
google avatar

Yelp
As far as malls go in this city, Powerplant is my favorite because I can actually breathe when I'm in it. Spacious, airy; a design that's well thought of. Even when it gets busy on Sundays, there's enough space and light to go around and just breathe. But you know what it really is for me, though? People in Powerplant respect the personal space of others. No ogling, no harassment; people say sorry when they accidentally bump you with their bag; there are no annoying phone conversations in the elevator; and it's basically just like a civilized society should be! I think it's because Powerplant exists to serve a community, so they've built around the lifestyles and conveniences of their affluent neighborhood's residents and the respectable offices and schools around it. It's not just about having a department store with a sale every 15 days; it's about having a reliable Starbucks Coffee to study in for the law students, a well-stocked Rustan's Fresh supermarket for the residents, and Rambla or Draft or Barcino to go to at the end of the day for the office folk. The list goes on: it's easy to navigate. There's always room to park. There's often a well-curated bazaar inside or outside. Celebrities don't act like celebrities in the mall. There's an indoor play area for kids. The cinemas are clean and well-equipped. There's variety for price and cuisine at the food court. Et cetera et cetera
google avatar

Natalie Ann U.

Yelp
Powerplant easily falls under my list of favorite malls in Metro Manila. It's really spacious and well-built, and even when there are a lot people it never feels crowded. I love how organized the mall is, I don't think you could ever get lost inside unlike with Trinoma, which is labyrinthine and almost impossible to navigate, with Powerplant you go in, learn the lay of the place, and after that you pretty much know which way to go. The shops are a little on the pricey side though. Your wallet needs to be a bit padded to shop here, but there are lots of nice cafes and restaurants of moderate prices to eat. The cinema isn't too bad too, and they have a nicely stocked Fully Booked at the top floor for whatever reading pleasures you might like. I also like how there's a really cheap (P5!) specialty jeep service that brings you to the mall. It's not as directly accessible as malls that are linked to MRT stations or malls that you can take a jeep to, you have to get off at either the Guadalupe MRT station or the Estrella bus station and walk a bit to get to the jeep area. Thank god for the jeeps though, because it would be a bit of a walk to go from the stations all the way to Powerplant, so I'm really pleased that they have those. (Although I'd be willing to walk the long way for such a great mall!)
google avatar

Danyella P.

Yelp
This is certainly my favorite mall. Greenbelt and Glorietta are closer to my place, but there's something about Power Plant that I really appreciate. Maybe it's the fact it's quieter, so you can avoid the big crowds. Maybe it's the convenience: it has a Rustan's Marketplace and is located in front of the delicatessen where I buy meat (Santïs; just check my review!). So picture a typical Sunday in my life: I go there with hubby, we have lunch at Barcino, have some churros at La Lola as a dessert, then we go window-shopping, we buy a ticket to the movies, we enter National Bookstore and forget about the clock, then we realize our film is about to begin, we take a to-go coffee at The Coffee Bean, we watch the movie, then we go to Rustan's and then finally we leave the mall, cross the street and buy the colds and meats at Santïs. The end. Or a pause, 'cause the next week this ritual will probably be repeated. I also appreciate the fact they have some bazaars (like in Chinese New Year) and some artistic performances. Once I was there and out the blue some woman started to sing an opera on the concourse level. People immediately crowded in front of the railings to to check it out what was going on. The amazing thing is that another woman who was just beside me - apparently just watching - started to sing too! She was part of the show! And there were lots of "hidden" singers in the crowd! It was a really nice experience offered by a mall :) TIP: When you take your churros at La Lola, look for the old lady playing the piano on the same floor. She's very cute!

Yelp
This is a great mall as it isn't too big or too crowded. There's a supermarket, tons of restaurants (from fast food to semi fancy), clothing stores, a movie theater and a bunch of other stores. There's no department store here though. It's one of the high-end malls in the city right up there with Greenbelt and SM Aura so expect to see stores selling designer clothes and restaurants such as Chili's, Yabu, Via Mare and Barcino. You'll also find stores like Fully Booked, True Value, and an Apple reseller. Another thing I like about this mall is the glass on the ceiling that allows natural light to come in. On a particularly sunny day (or rainy for that matter) you don't feel like you're completely enclosed in a concrete building.
google avatar

R S.

Yelp
Great food areas, shopping for mid luxury designer clothing, clean and spacious mall. Parking seems hopeless. Always come with a driver. Crowd is professional, well dressed and educated.
google avatar

Yelp
Just the place for buying anything, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Yelp
The memories came flooding in when I stepped in Power Plant Mall after 10 years. Nothing much has changed, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Still present is the ever-timeless Power Station and the movie theaters, but gone are the bowling lanes, which is now replaced by a huge Toys R' Us. I remember my first date at this mall, when I was still in high school. We agreed to meet by Fully Booked, and I was running a little late because of traffic. I went inside, looking for her amongst the tall bookshelves scattered around the bookstore. When I saw her, I noticed she was feeling a bit cold because of the air-conditioning (probably because of her choice of clothing too), so I surprised her with a hug from behind. She instantly slapped me in the face, only to realize it was someone who was supposed to be her date. She felt quite embarrassed by the entire thing, and we eventually laughed it off as we walked towards the movie theatre. Now that I'm much older, I enjoy the clothing options that they offer, and appreciate the food here a lot more (Draft and Mamou Too!). I like that no matter what day of the week, Power Plant Mall doesn't ever get too crowded, and doesn't get too empty either.

Yelp
Rockwell Mall has always reminded me of Sunday gatherings with my family. Back when Cucina Victoria was still open, this was our go-to dining destination always. While Cucina Victoria has since moved to the Aruga Hotel, Rockwell Mall is definitely a mall I can say I grew up in. It opened when I was fifteen (do the math), and I remember this being the place to be when it came to high school movie dates with my first boyfriend. Now that I'm a little older, I don't watch movies here much, but I still love going here whenever they host bazaars at the Rockwell Tent, or to have drinks at Draft with my friends, or dinner at Mamou with my family.

Yelp
Power Plant is one of my favorite malls in Metro Manila. While it doesn't compare to Shangri-La Plaza or SM Megamall in terms of scale or variation, it does give off an air of exclusivity and elegance that is rivaled only perhaps by Greenbelt. The shops are limited but they have some of the best theaters, two bookstores to choose from, Healthy Options, some of the best restaurants in town, and of course, my favorite local candle store: Alice Blue. This mall is perfect for when you don't want to get overwhelmed but simply want to enjoy strolling through a retail area.

Yelp
I stayed at one of the Joya units in Rockwell during my 2 week trip back home.. This mall is located right across the Joya lofts.. It's your typical mall similar to the ones in the states..not something that made me wow.. Quiet, nearly empty during weekdays, no rubbing elbows, everything seems to be priced the same as US if not probably a few bucks more..Rockwell community makes you feel like you never left the states, only difference is the security at every entrances to this mall and equipped with metal detectors.. Mall staff seems very uptight though, me and my uncle were taking pictures inside one of their dept store downstairs and this sales lady came by and said "no photos"..lol!! there's the movie theatre, your typical food court and a few upscale restaurants..to me the mall felt like a "go in go out type of place"..got really bored after a few visits, wifi slows down to a halt.. It was only fast early in the day.. I had more adventure visiting market market and MOA..

Inigo V.

Yelp
The best mall i ever went to! I totally want to come here at night due to the fact that this is when stuff gets real the whole mall itself is fancy!makes me think this mall was created for richers and stuff.its also beside a powerplant and thats weird.

Yelp
Power Plant Mall isn't one of the bigger malls in Manila but it is definitely a great place to go to if you don't want a hassle experience or a busy crowd. This mall is one of the more relaxed malls in the Metro. Visit here and you're certain to have a good experience. Power Plant is one of my favorite malls because it has a lot of options for both shops and restaurants and also because of its chill atmosphere. The shops here are varied to fit any price range and they also have some unique shops options that you can't find in other malls with areas for tiny local stalls that offer great products. Not to mention you get to support local brands too, win-win! The restaurants at Power Plant and great and super duper yummy! Definitely an assured great dining experience whenever you visit. Although most restaurants are a bit on the pricey side Power Plant also has staple fast food options for those who are saving. Power Plant has all the basics from a grocery, a drug store, hardware store, shops, food, etc. You will certainly enjoy your experience here!

Yelp
I think Power Plant Mall was the very first mall that I went out with friends back in grade school. I think that was circa 2005 or something like that. I can fondly and quite embarrassingly remember our pre-teen selves feeling so cool that we're out in such a cool mall like Power Plant. I even have loads of those picture card thingies when those used to be a thing before. Plus, they had Power Station, which seemed like a cooler Timezone at that time. But seriously, Power Plant is more of a luxury mall. A lot of luxury brands open up shop in Power Plant, definitely populating it more than the local, mid-priced clothing stores. Aside from retail, they do also have a vast array of restaurants, and a lot of top notch ones. The best part is that there are a lot of restaurants outside you can explore that aren't far away from the mall. The collection of restaurants for me is what makes a Power Plant visit for me.

Yelp
Back when my family and I used to live in Makati, my dad worked in Rockwell. On many nights, we'd go here after my siblings and I finished school and he'd catch up after his work and we'd have dinner here and roam around for a bit, finish by 9 or so. Then, I found Power Plant kind of boring, being only 9 years old. The only places that interested me were the grocery, the Fully Booked branch, and of course the Timezone branch. Going there now though is more enticing, because I know how much of a chill mall it is. It's got a quiet feel to it, as you'll hardly find any toddlers throwing tantrums or large groups of 14-15 year olds roaming around here. There's a lot of restaurants to choose from here, but I don't think you'd be able to choose from a wide selection if you've got a regular student's budget, but I think that's part of why Power Plant patrons are usually families or working class millenials. Power Plant is definitely one of my favorite malls in Metro Manila.
