Warm outdoor heating on a cool May sunny day, just makes the atmosphere wonderfully great. A generous size scone and butter and beautifully done coffee. Just don't go through the front door. That's the kitchen. Perhaps a bigger sign on the window will deter unwanted guests. Plenty of sparrows were foraging for free crumbs, but I wasn't bothered. Neither were the staff bothered when I accidentally opened the front door. Thanks I'll be back, provided I visit the other umpteen cafes in Hanmer.
Ps cinnamon chocolate salt and pepper is on the table. Smell before sprinkling lest you get pepper instead of cinnamon! A label would be helpful.

Very very good breakfasts. Big breakfast flavors were great, the kumera patty combination of flavors were awesome. Can see why there was a constant flow of people coming and going. Good job.

I have been coming here once a month for over a year now. The food and coffee is excellent. The menu adds a flair to each dish that gives it a burst of flavour and difference. The presentation is always amazing. Staff are friendly and efficient and there is a great vibe. Relaxing music and clean and chic decor. Highly recommended. I have had breakfast at every venue in Hanmer, this is a stand out. 🤩

Delicious, healthy, well presented food, a little bit different to the norm. Coffees pretty decent too. Lovely staff, in a relaxed setting, would recommend to anyone in the area.

Lovely staff that care, and make a great matcha latte. A wide and delicious range of gluten free bakery. I was blown way. You can even see a peak of the mountains from the outdoor seating area. A great place to sit, read a book and watch the world go by. Highly recommend :)
