Powerhouse Hotel Tamworth by Rydges

Our first time in Tamworth, initially made a booking for one night for two rooms and the guest receptionist Casey was very accommodative to our requests, especially since we were travelling with our elderly mother. We were very impressed with the rooms and decided to extend for another night. The staff helped with the extension and it was such a seamless process. We really enjoyed our stay there, and had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant.

Had a lovely Stay. Rooms were nice. Service was excellent. Location is perfect. One thing I do reckon they should have each room to their own car space

Excellent service from all staff. Great breakfast & well priced for members staying there. Parking at door and verandah right along front to give dry access to restaurant, bar and admin, in the rain, and making it easier to pack in the rain. Pool and spa very scenic. Spa lovely and warm but very low seat to step in or out. Pool had a beach area for small children or less able adults. Love to stay again.

I travel for work regularly. I have stayed here a few times now, absolutely perfect. Never have any issues. I’ve stayed here 3-4 times now. Rooms are always clean, plenty of parking, clean gym, Recently stayed in room 304, fantastic customer service from Austin.

Worth the 5 start rating. Rooms very quiet clean modern and comfortable. Staff friendly and attentive and a great breakfast menu with the traditional favourites as well as some unusual but lovely dishes.

Lovely rooms, stayed in the king room. Only a few problems, the towel for the floor outside the shower moves when you open the shower door, after showering, I lost my balance on the wet floor and had a nasty fall. The toilet paper holder was in a difficult position, ended up on the floor. Needed a railing to help stand up from the ultra low toilet. A lift would really help to get from the top floor to the ground floor. A big thankyou goes to one of them men who assisted me getting down the stairs.

Travelled for work. Midweek on my own. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are stylish and wonderfully comfortable after a long day working in the region. Location is only a short walk to the main street and is on the main road towards Armidale. A great stay and top of the list of preferred hotels in Tamworth.

Great hotel, on site restaurant is a bit pricey but the delicious food and impeccable service made it worth while.
