Definitely worth visiting, especially on a weekday morning when a morning mass is said in a side chapel. A very serene and prayerful place, of very high historical significance, being the burial place of the first few Polish kings.

The cathedral in Poznań, together with a visit to Cathedral Island and the museum, is an absolute must-see in Poland. It holds the utmost importance for anyone interested in Polish history, reaching back to the year 966 – the time of the first ruler and the beginning of Polish Christianity. For me, it also explains why Polish society remains so deeply connected with the Christian tradition.

A very peaceful place. Great architecture. You can come in and just sit down and see everything there is to see give yourself a self-guided tour. On the outside you can walk around as well and read the different signs it's very interesting.

Beautiful architecture and interior. Definitely recommend going into the crypts in the basement (7zł per person) to see the oldest parts and the buried archbishops. Definitely recommend

The church is beautiful and truly impressive, absolutely worth visiting and admiring inside and outside. However, I do NOT recommend paying the 7 zloty to see the crypt: there is hardly anything to look at, you walk through it in a minute, and it doesn’t really add much value.

Oldest church in city, and one of the oldest in Poland. Must see cript down stairs- ask about tickets there!!!!

he Sint-Petrus-en-Paulusbasiliek in Poznań is one of the most interesting churches I've ever seen. The contrast between the deep, dark tones and the lavish gold detailing creates an atmosphere that feels almost otherworldly. It has a dramatic, almost mystical presence that sets it apart from many other churches. Walking inside, you’re immediately struck by the richness of the interior. The golden accents shine beautifully against the darker surroundings, giving the whole place a sense of grandeur and mystery. It’s definitely a must-visit for anyone who appreciates unique and atmospheric church architecture. Also the red bridge outside combines well with it I think.
