Excellent traditional Hungarian food with large portions. Here you can also try some of the Hungarian exotic dishes. The restaurant is very clean and pet friendly.

Love the atmosphere here! The food is delicious and has a good portion. I especially love the soup (I don't remember what exactly it was sadly). The waitress was helpful and nice too. The price is reasonable. Overall, this is a good place to have a hearty meal!

Wonderful authentic food, the goulash is amazing. Kids where not that adventurous however, so it was the chicken schnitzel for them. I had the cherry steak, but maybe a little sickening after a while as its very sweet!

A quality and local place where you can eat traditional Hungarian food. There is a very local vibe in the environment. Service was fast. The portions of the food are big and delicious. The wines are also of high quality. Prices are reasonable compared to other places. We loved this restaurant!

The portions were large, but the dishes were poorly seasoned, so we only ate half. My Hungarian beef goulash was the third one I've had this week in Budapest, and it was the worst I've ever eaten. There was no paprika in it, although that might be the recipe. Earlier, I had another beef goulash that was served with a pepper sauce on the side and included cumin. I believe I make much better goulash at home. Here, there was only salt and black pepper for seasoning. The servers looked unhappy and tired. I do not recommend this place and will not be returning. I am giving extra star for traditional decor and location but the rest is big "meh".

I recently ate at this well-known restaurant celebrated for its traditional goulash, but my experience fell short of expectations. I ordered the goulash meat dish with boiled potatoes, and while the food was delicious, the overall experience was hindered by communication difficulties. The waiters didn't speak English, making it quite challenging to convey my requests and understand their responses. Overall, the food was great, but the language barrier made the dining experience less enjoyable.

On April 21, 2024, I went with my family to dinner and it was disastrous. Although they had a lot of people in the place, it took them 30 minutes to come and ask us for drinks and food. After more than 1 hour waiting, they had brought us absolutely nothing. We saw how the place began to empty and new people came in and were served food. When we told them, they quickly brought us the first thing they could find: a HOT Caesar salad with a lot of cheese on top, a grill of raw and hard vegetables and a cordon blue that was nothing more than a turkey breast breaded with a lot of cheese and York ham cooked quickly and on the run. You can see how the crust of the batter comes off. Disgusting. While we were claiming our food, the waitresses were drinking beer. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO THERE
