Pozsonyi restaurant

Looked online for a good goulash in Budapest. It was good, tasty. The bread seemed like a little old, and no hot fresh peppers, but some hot pepper pasta to put in. So... It was not made with paprika so the taste was not the one used to, I had to put from that pasta some in the soup. Still, soup very tasty, I have licked the pot :)). Good prices, good local wine. At the beginning they told us we have to wait up to 50 minutes because of too many orders, but it was much faster. Even for starters we should of waited if ordered. After receiving soup, everything was forgotten, tasty. I do recommend, I have eaten I think better in Szeged somewhere, but in Budapest I have tried a few, and this one was I think the tastiest. Service was nice, polite. I do recommend, if in Budapest, give it a try. Let me know :)). And the desert.. mmm, the desert , some pancakes with sweet cheese and sour cream.. mm very very tasty. We took some takeaway. Not fancy, the way I like it, but polite and clean. I shall return. Thank you.

Beautiful authentic hungarian vibe and extremely friendly staff. Menu was far too large and some of the meals tasted 'fresh from frozen'. Sides are also an extra price so not the cheapest of restaurants either. I wasn't very well after eating so potential food poisoning. Be wary with what you order.

Came here based on a recommendation of someone else and wasnt disappointed. The service was good and the food was delicious with large portions. This is off the beaten path of the tourist area and exactly what I was looking for. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone coming to Budapest.

This was a recommendation from locals and the locals know best ! We had the beans with smoked ribs soup, fried mushrooms with lamb cheese, beef goulash and cabbage leaves and all of them tasted amazing and felt like homemade. If you told us that a mom is cooking in the kitchen, we would have believed you ! The only problem was that we didnt know that the portions were that large ! We had to take nore than half the mains home with us ! The atmosphere was really nice and chill and the staff were friendly and polite !

We went here based on a local YouTuber's recommendation. It did not disappoint. We were looking for authentic Hungarian food and this hit the spot. I had the goulash, my wife had the stuffed cabbage, and my kids also enjoyed their choices. The stuffed mushrooms were also amazing.

Absolutely amazing Hungarian dishes. Well worth your time to find and enjoy. Friendly atmosphere and super friendly staff‼️🌟💯 We came at 3pm on a Tuesday in October and didn’t wait at all gorgeous a table. Oh, and the toilets are super clean, modern and cozy at the same time. Quite important in some cases. ☀️🫶🏼💴

This was an amazing experience and we loved it so much we came the next day again for another dinner. Our server Niki was a true professional, friendly and helpful. On our first night we ordered 1 portion of goulash and 1 portion of potatoes for two and it was totally enough! The next day we were more hungry and got our own mains but still shared 1 plate of potatoes. It was so much food! We then ate the crepes with sweet cheese and raisins, it was DEVINE. I sincerely recommend this restaurant for the authentic affordable meal and I hope this establishment prospers :)

Well… the place to be when visiting Budapest! Just a little bit out of the touristic centre and you can taste, in my opinion, the real Hungarian cuisine! The food was amazing, the taste was perfect, portions are huge and the style is very familiar! Service is kind and talking in English were not a problem! Highly recommended!
