Pr' Matjon - Pension

Brigita has an amazing place! Clean comfy rooms, plenty of space to spread out, quiet location with lovely walking spots all around. An easy one km walk to the lake. Breakfast is quite good, fruits cereals eggs meats cheeses pastries, all fresh and wonderful. A charming experience and highly recommended!

The pension is quite spacious and located in Selo, just 1km walking distance from Bled lake. On the one hand, it is convenient to be away from the hustle and bustle of Bled lake, but on the other hand, it is a little bit far away. The apartment was quite large and simply furnished, but it was clean and sufficient for our needs. The beds were comfortable. Additionally, you can enjoy breakfast at the property for 10 euros per person.

If you want to be away from the touristy Bled area, this is a great pick. The owners are wonderful and accommodating. The breakfasts are fabulous and filling. It is a 5 min drive or 25 min beautiful hike to the lake. Our room had a double bed, 2 bunks, a separate kitchen/dinette and a bath.

Located a short walk from the beautiful Lake Bled. The rooms are exceptionally furnished and perfectly clean. This property was a delight to stay in. The management are very friendly and accommodating. You will not be disappointed with this very intimate yet modern hotel.

The Pr Matjon B&B seems as if it is a little out of the way, but once you get oriented, you find that it is set in a little village outside of Bled, but still only about 1 km from the lake. The surrounding area is a mix of quant village homes and farmland. The owner, Brigita, is very pleasant and friendly and also very well organized. Everything is very well maintained and clean. The bedrooms facing the mountain range are the preferred rooms, even though they are up 3 flights of stairs. Breakfast is not a huge layout, but good enough once you consider that she will cook your desired egg dishes any way that you like. All in all, this is a very good value for the quality received.

Excellent location & easy to find in the village of Selo about 1km off the main lakeside road.||Beautiful building; friendly and helpful owner with advice, maps and info on the local area.||Very comfortable apartment style room with balcony. ||Excellent breakfast for Euro 6pp with great omelette and buffet. ||Laundry done for 5 Euro. ||Nice walks and scenery around the pension. About 15 minutes easy enough walk down to the lake front. And only 5 minutes or so drive into the centre of Bled to get to restaurants etc.||A really enjoyable stay.

The place is super clean, at the great location - a short walk to the lake of Bled and in beautiful nature. WiFi at amazing speed, cheap bike rental (5 EUR per day compared to those next to the lake, which go to 12 EUR). The hosts were helpful and undemanding - you don't hear nor see them unless you want to! ;) The breakfast was fresh and nice.

I waited until the last possible minute to book accomodation in Bled only to realise that unexpectedly last week of September is quite popular and that average prices are slightly higher than what I had imagined. ||||Browsing most rooms/accomodation in Bled appeared too kitch or narrow. I finally settled for Pansion Matjon. The pansion is located in Cella, more or less 1 km from the lake but 3-4 km from the centrum of Bled. We had some trouble locating the place which seemed unexisting for the GPS. Happily direction from the lake is shown and the staff was very helpfull on the phone. When we arrived, a celebration was ongoing and we were welcomed warmly.||||The room was very comfortable, spacious (I booked a twin but had a triple) and had a nice balcony (with some chairs and flowers). Decoration is simple chalet style. It was very quiet and we slept well.  The room was well equiped with everything we needed (including a wine/beer opener). Only missing thing was a water cooker for tea (but this seems to be missing in all places we stayed in the area).||||In the morning, the smell of fresh bread reached our room. The breakfast buffet was simple but with enough choice and is to be enjoyed easily : yogourt, fruit yogourt  milk, cereals, muesli, granola, bread, jam, cheese, meat, apples/bananas and a sweet treat and eggs.||||Everybody was super friendly and helpfull.Very nice, not pretentious but comfortable and cosy. I would stay here again any time.
