Prachuap Beach Hotel

Overall, a good stay at the Prachuap Beach Hotel. It was my first time staying here. The location was convenient for local shops, coffee, and restaurants to explore. However, not quite the beach-side hotel I expected. In order to enjoy the beach, it's a bike or scooter ride away. The rooms and bathrooms could use some updating, but overall a comfortable stay.

Not a luxury hotel but specious enough clean rooms with comfortable beds located in the city center and near the beach. One big plus - strong hot shower. Very reasonably priced. I stayed in building 2 which is a new one. Previously I stayed in the original building and I think I would opt next time for the older room for the better view.

Overall, a good stay. Rooms are comfortable, and the common areas of the hotel are attractive and kept clean. I prefer the location of this property to that of other properties I've chosen in the past: on the waterfront promenade; close to a good range of eating venues; close to the entrance to Ao Manao, and an enjoyable, comfortable walk down to the night markets. At the time of my stay, the prices quoted on this site gave an accurate representation of actual rates. On my first night, I allowed myself to be talked into paying 25% more ... The breakfast area is pleasant, but the actual breakfasts somewhat disappointing. The charge is more than the impressive buffets I've had at similar hotels in similar places this trip to Thailand. I had the Thai breakfast (khao tom - rice soup) one morning, and the 'Western' the next - both quite ordinary. Friends on the second morning ordered a Thai standard from the general menu - it looked worse than the equivalent meal I'd had the day before from a restaurant in town, and they both volunteered that it was pretty ordinary.

Great location at quieter end of the beach road. Room large and clean. Everything worked well. Staff extremely friendly. Had food in the restaurant very tasty and good value. Scooters are for hire 250baht per day.

Front desk check-in lady in building 1 was rude and wouldn't give our phone back without insisting 3 times. However the lady in building 2 (where we were staying was very nice) - clean room, nice view, strong AC. Overall good experience minus check in.

4* to the staff here - the front desk, room attendants, and ladies in the kitchen during breakfast are all really nice and helpful. They also make you feel appreciated and welcomed. 5* location - both buildings are basically 2 minutes' walk to the beach/waterfront! Moreover, there are so many cafes and restaurants all within 10 minutes' walk from the hotel - we would definitely stay here again the next time we come to Prachuap! The Prachuap Beach Hotel is a solid 3* hotel (not sure why Google Map rates it as a 2* hotel - a 2* stars hotel is not this nice/clean). We've stayed here twice in the past 18 months or so, both times for about 2-3 nights - once in the main/original building and once across the street at their newer building. Both times, our rooms were clean and comfortable, with fast WIFI. My only wish is that the hotel provides a small hand/face towel besides the large bath towel for guests to use. The videos included in the review is of the lobby area of the main building, and breakfast area looking out to the waterfront.

Stayed at the new building for 1 night, the location of the hotel is good but the lights in the room were too dim and funny location of the plug points

We got the superior room with seaview. Very clean, great view, comfortable and quiet stay. We would come back. Wifi was unstable the first evening (router might have needed a reboot), next evening it was stable and fast.
