Wrapped up my last night in Paris with a quick stop at Prada—because what’s a trip to this city without a little shopping? From the moment I stepped through the doors, I felt completely welcomed. A big thank you to Thav, who made my experience even more special with his warmth and kindness!

Wonderful experience. General friendliness and ease to approach and be approached with no pressure. We loved Thav, our shopping associate, and he was a big part of why we made the purchase $4,200 cashmere blazer). This was something I had not entered the store intending to buy but he just made it fun! And I’m quite happy with my new treasure. Thanks thav! I wasn’t sure I was a Prada girl, but I think I’m a convert now. ❤️

I was in Paris a month ago and had the most wonderful experience with Margaux. She was so lovely and friendly and extremely helpful, by far the best customer service that I have experienced in Paris. She found me exactly what I wanted and took the time to really listen and help me. I ended buying Prada loafers! Highly recommend if you visit this location to ask for Margaux, you will receive the best service!

We went into Prada during our visit to Paris, and from entering the store we received a beautifully personal and helpful experience from Constance and Ryad. Their knowledge, passion and love for their jobs and the brand truly shone through, and meant we were lucky enough to have the best store experience we have ever had. We look forward to returning again in the future.

Prada Paris Avenue Montaigne: I had a terrible experience at this Prada location. I came into the store on a weekday afternoon to purchase a waist bag and heels. They associate informed me that they did not have the bag (even though the website said they did), and refer me to another location. Because I was already there, I decided to browse the accessories before heading to the shoes in the back of the store. I saw some clips I wanted to purchase and asked for the price, the associate left me with the clips and sunglasses as she went to checked on the price. Not even a minute after she left, another associate - taller white male - approached the counter took the clips from me and placed them underneath the glass. I told him that I’m purchasing these and the associate is checking on the price. He just smiled and said she will take them back out once I purchase them. I was so confused. Firstly, there were other customers in the store who were left alone with merchandise worth thousands of euros, but the only black woman in the entire store was being discriminated against over what turned out to be €500 hair clips. When my associate came back she began looking around for them, and I told her that her colleague placed them under the glass. She looked shocked and took them back out and said not to worry about him. I told her that he made me feel very uncomfortable, and made it seem like I was going to steal them. She just smiled and said she had no idea what the word “steal”meant, and said she would go to find a new pair and wrap them up for me. After she abruptly left, I also decided to leave. On my way out I told another female associate that I was leaving because I felt like I was being treated poorly, and she said ok bye. I feel completely indifferent about Prada after this experience. I felt rushed, no beverage was offered, and I felt extremely disrespected because of the color of my skin. After doing more research into racial situations involving Prada, I can see now that things still have not changed in 2024 with how they treat minority customers.

Having never bought anything designer, I felt really nervous that I was going to be ignored/disregarded by staff. This experience was the total opposite. The sales associate assisting me was amazing, so lovely and super helpful. I love my Prada sunglasses, which feel extra special knowing they were purchased in Paris!

We stayed a week in the Champs Elysées district. Visited this Prada store and bought a bag mainly for traveling that is big enough for my macbook computer, and a small size handbag. However, there are many sales associates working in this store. The service was fine, neither bad, nor great. I took one star away because the checkout process was really long. I don't get why there is only one person who does the checkout.

We are certainly not the typical customers and are not hung with brands like a decorated Christmas tree. But my friend wanted to buy a jacket. Addressed whether we need what we were only when my friend, the 5 jacket had on, where most were visibly too small. When he then found a suitable model, we found that a button was torn off, the seller noted the cell phone number and assured us that the next day will be in touch. No one did get back to us. Too bad for Prada to have such employees.

Yelp
I entered this particular Prada last week excited and ready to purchase the exact loafers I had in mind. Unfortunately, I was stuck with the rudest sales person I ever encountered. When asking for what I wanted she refused to get them as she said "I wouldn't like them the leather was too hard " she insisted I tried a different pair which I pleased her and did and they hurt so I went back to the original style that I came in for and she once again refused. Another customer was trying them on so I approached her and asked her if they were comfortable and she said yes, but she said your sales person is awful and she refused to purchase from her 5 months prior for her rudeness. Frustrated as I was on vacation and had my heart set I left the store. Another sales person overheard the conversation and offered to have me back in to help but I was just uncomfortable facing the other sales person so I left. The next day I went to Prada in Galeries Lafayette and purchased the shoes with a pleasant sales representative. It's a shame this woman is still working there making high commissions and Prada is charging a high price for a high quality product with horrendous customer service.

Yelp
I had a fabulous experience here. I bought a pair of nude pumps from a wonderful associate named Flora. She was so patient and kind while I debated my purchase (she even put them on hold for me for a day so I could sleep on it - when I returned the next day, she remembered me immediately and grabbed the shoes for me.) If you're a tourist, remember your passport for 12% back on tax!

Yelp
Don't forget your passport or at least a drivers license if you expect a foreigner Tax exemption I didn't buy anything, but my sister liked their wallets so she spoiled herself. I like the store layout and there is a guy in a small cube in the middle who does his work quite efficiently for VAT All staff, all dressed in black? Kinda scary and kinda sexy

Yelp
I realize that in France a certain amount of attitude is expected -and accepted- in the service industry. However, this is Prada, home to gorgeous things, the items that dreams are made of, a happy place, and no mater how expensive I have never encountered a unprofessional member of staff. Until today, at the Prada shop on Paris's most expensive and stylish street of Avenue Montaigne. We walked in, credit cards in hand ready to shop and do serious damage. We had saved the best for last on our shopping jaunt, and knew new season's items had just arrived. We were ready to blow the bank and max out the credit cads. Except... we waited and waited and WAITED for someone to help us so that we could start spending money. We stood there, 2 of us, with our designer bags and looking stylish, and we were ignored. After close to 15 minutes, we politely, and in French, asked for assistance from one of the boutique staff. Not only were we rudely blown off, but we got severe attitude and a scowl from the shop girl. We were nearly out the door when another assistant finally asked us if he could help, but after our initial inquiry about a purse he didn't seem to know anything about his own product and proved to be useless. We left having wasted 25 minutes and buying absolutely nothing. I love the Prada brand, that is not the problem, But buy it in any other European city but Paris. London and Milan being your best bet.
