Praia da Comporta

Great beautiful beach. Clear waters, gets deep very quickly. Has a mixture of paid and free parking spots. Fresh water showers. People selling sweet treats and also concession sun loungers. Cocktails are some of the most expensive I've encountered in Portugal so didn't try any (€15!!)

A good combination of water temperature, waves, and beach cleanliness. Free parking. There is a fresh water shower at the exit from the beach. We had a great time with the children until sunset.

Nice beach. Initiatives to create awareness for marine plastic pollution - very pleasent. But then this red carpet, emitting plastic stripes to the beach. How I wish they could remove it!

Amazingly beautiful beach, with restaurants, umbrellas and sun beds beds services. I would recommend to come before the noon to make sure there’s enough parking and beach is not overcrowded yet

Beautiful peaceful beach even around high tide. The sunset is gorgeous! Easy parking and food is available at the canteen or restaurant.

One of the best beaches I have been to in a while. The clear water, the soft sand, the parking, the resturants near by, so much space on this beach, etc. It's one of those beaches I would put on my top 10 list.

Stunning views and beautiful panorama towards the hills in the distance. Both restaurants expensive but serving quality food. A useful Shack for snacks and drinks in between. If you have family or need be careful with money please consider a picnic cool box. Maybe 7 or 8 dolphins swam by very close to the shore! Guess we were lucky that day. One of the best beaches in Portugal. Limited parking in shade. At height of tourist season go early. Little decent parking on road.

Comporta beach, Portugal. One of the most beautiful, peaceful places to visit. Great food, wine & weather. Thoroughly recommend a visit. We will be going back.
