Great beach with smooth sand, and two cosy beach bars (more terrace/bar then beach club. There is an active atmosphere because of the wind-, wave- and kitesurfing here. Swimming and just chilling is amazing here. Especially at sunset.

Wonderful place to kite surf. Very windy beach so not ideal to stay long if you are not doing water activity.

A clean and calm place good for sports like surf, but also fantastic for any nature enthusiast as not only you have the beach but just steps away natural coastal pine forests .

Really good beach, expansive sands that are very clean with sandunes. Very windy which is why it is perfect for kite/wind surfing 🏄‍♂️. If you don't do this, just watch - truly fascinating.

A bit out of the way if you’re staying in Viana Do Castelo but there is a ferry that crosses the river for €1.50 each way. It was wonderful little trip, the beach is beautiful and a lot of wind surfers around which is quite nice to see.
