Praktik Garden

Our stay in Barcelona was truly memorable, thanks in large part to this wonderful hotel. As first-time visitors to the city, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The hotel’s central location made it easy to explore nearby restaurants, shops, and attractions. The interiors are beautifully decorated, and the terrace area is a lovely spot to relax after a day of sightseeing. The staff were not only professional but also exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. Room service was excellent; our room was always clean, tidy, and well maintained throughout our stay. We also appreciated the convenient post check-out service, which allowed us to store our luggage and enjoy our final hours in the city without worry. Overall, the service was impeccable, and we felt both safe and comfortable throughout our stay. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona!

Great small hotel. Stayed three nights with three people in room 106. Has elevator. Room was perfect size with places to bit things. Shelf in bathroom for toiletries. Clean, quiet. Has a lovely garden area for relaxing (smoking area). Cold water available all day, coffee and mini muffins in the morning. I heard that beach towels are available as weel, but did not request any. Staff were helpful. 10 - 15 min walk from Las Ramblas. Overall good location if you are ok walking. We took a lot of taxis because of the heat. Taxis are easy to get out front of hotel, or they can arrange for you. Would stay again.

What a spectacular location. This hotel has such an amazing location that the metro is 3 mins walk, all brunch places are 3 mins walk. It is in a very posh and upscale part of town. Amazing amazing and thank you for all your hospitality. Highly recommend this to someome visiting Barcelona for the first time.

We went for a short couples break. Hotel was in excellent location for bars, restaurants and sightseeing. So much so that we only got the metro to La Rambla and walked everywhere else. |Beautiful interiors filled with plants and garden imagery. |Yes rooms are small but perfectly equipped. Excellent shower. Lovely bathroom products. Large comfy bed. Cleaned daily. Great air con. |Opting for a balcony is a must. Great atmosphere from the overlooking gardens and apartments and a comfy space to sit after a long day. |Staff were welcoming and friendly and made our stay very comfortable.

We have stayed 6 nights in this wonderful hotel. The staff is very friendly. You get a very good free coffee in the morning which you can take on the nice terrace. Our superior room had a private terrace and was very quiet. The beds could have been larger (80x100 cm), but were comfortable. The hotel is close to the most interesting places. Bus and metro connections are easy. The environment of the hotel is quiet and safe. There are many shops and restaurants around. It is not so crowded as The Rambla.

The rooms were decent and clean. Provided the hygiene stuff such as hand soap, shampoo, and body wash. I’m writing this because Italy doesn’t. My favorite part about this was the garden terrace. It was always nice to come outside and sit for a little bit. The location is great and walking distance to most of the tourist attractions. Victor the receptionist was very helpful in helping with recommendations and helping me check in early.The other staff was all nice as well including the housekeepers. Overall good stay for the price.

Enjoyed our stay. Cute hotel that has all the necessities. The positives: nice lounge area with water and coffee and bottles provided. Comfortable beds and safe in room. Location is excellent with plenty of things to do within walking distance. The negatives: We were walked in on TWICE by attendants without knocking. This was very concerning. The front desk didn’t acknowledge it unfortunately. Our water bottles we were given had been used and dirty, which they replaced. The “pastries” is only mini muffins but that is okay. Would consider Praktik again mainly for the price, just maybe not at this property.

Wonderful, authentically cool hotel with hospitable and friendly staff. I moved to the Praktik hotel after a horrendous stay at one of the Spanish chains (Barcelò Sants). The Praktik has a really wonderful feel to it: amazing garden and terrace for such a central location, the rooms also have balconies overlooking the garden too. Has an elevator for those not keen to get steps in. And unlike big-brand hotels, they don't want to make a profit off of bottled water: they give you a glass bottle to refill from their purified tap in their cozy library. Will definitely come again.
