Prashad Café Gardens

We popped in from our cafe Seven Circles around the corner to sample the food for an Indian feast we’re catering for on the weekend. It was absolutely delicious! The potato corner samosas were a hit & we loved the aubergine and spinach paneer dishes. They’re on the menu for our event 🌟so excited to have you in the neighbourhood

Really great Indian food with a hint of South African spices. Loved their take on the South African Better Bean Bunny Chow. Super flavorful! Also the mango and tumeric lassie is so good!

We had a fantastic vegan dinner here. The service was exceptional from Vimbai (V) from the moment we walked in there until the moment we left, we were attended to with such professionalism and care. Vimbai is such an asset to this restaurant, I can't remember having a more gentle, attentive, on the ball waitress in a long time. She really made such an impression all round. The food was also absolutely devine and the presentation was superb. We were also helped by Charmaine who was so lovely. The decor was beautiful too . Will definitely be back.

Wow - what a gem we have discovered! Our waitress, Vimbai, and Charmaine, were so welcoming. Vimbai knew her way around the very extensive menu and the food was heavenly! We will have to visit again to try all the other treats - (our eyes were way bigger than our tummies!) The venue is beautiful! Service was exemplary! Food was out of this world! What else other than to say - visit Prashad if you enjoy Indian cuisine on another level!!!

I will die for the Durban Chicken Curry (coming from a Durbanite). All their food is delicious, wholesome, freshly made and perfectly spiced. A medium is a real medium, and a mild is suitable for anyone that can't handle spicy food. I've been eating here for years and I love that the food tastes exactly like it does from the OG Rondebosch branch. The service is always friendly, and the cafes are welcoming and beautiful.

The new Place invites you better than the last one on Kloof. Don't know why food tastes better here. Quick, and easy, Prashad experience!!

The food is amazing. This coming from a Durbanite. I wish there was a branch in Johannesburg as well. Prices are reasonable and the staff are so friendly.

I Love the food , but the problem is the service I’ve been supporting them for years the service never improves . The last time was the worst ever . I arrived at 20:15 and the Lady said we close at 9pm if you promise to eat fast u can sit or else take it home and eat it . This is not how you treat customers . I decided to sit and order . They took 30min to bring the food , it’s now 20:45 . They brought starters mains and desert all together and warned me yet again that I have 25 minutes to eat and leave . At 20:55?the waiter comes over and says please pay now we wanna cash up . I said I’m in the middle of my meal give me a minute . She went to the till brought the card machine and said pay now . I hope the owner will read this because he needs to teach his staff about customer service. FYI this is not the first incident , They always rushing customers .
