Unfortunately, our experience at the Seehof Davos Hotel raised serious concerns regarding the validity of its claimed five-star status. First and foremost, there is a complete lack of service, which is a cornerstone of any high-end hotel. The restaurant staff, particularly the waiters, demonstrated a very low level of training: they are unfamiliar with basic service standards, not customer-oriented, and show no initiative. For example, during dinner, guests are offered only a single dish — chicken with rice — which is entirely inappropriate for a five-star hotel in terms of both variety and culinary standards. What is even more surprising is that even basic beverages such as water and juice are not included in the dinner price and must be paid for separately. This not only contradicts guest expectations but also goes against internationally accepted hospitality standards. Another issue concerns the spa and sauna area. Guests have to return to the reception desk to request access, as there is no staff present in the wellness area. This is highly inconvenient and undermines the very concept of comfort and premium service. Housekeeping is a separate issue. Bottled water is provided only once, upon check-in. After that, guests are expected to use the paid minibar — something that can hardly be considered guest-friendly. Moreover, daily cleaning is essentially limited to making the bed: the bed linen is not changed, and the overall cleanliness of the bathroom and other areas raises questions. It is difficult to understand what criteria still allow Seehof Davos to present itself as a five-star hotel. Based on the shortcomings described above, the actual service level corresponds more closely to a three-star property — at best. This discrepancy between advertised and actual quality leaves guests not only disappointed but also questioning the credibility of the hotel star rating system. We strongly recommend that the hotel management urgently revise their service standards, provide retraining for staff, and reconsider their approach to service delivery if they genuinely aim to meet international five-star standards.

Really liked this hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. There was an electrical problem with my room after the first night and I was moved to an equivalent room without any argument or hassle. These things happen sometimes. It wasn’t the hotel’s fault and they dealt with it elegantly. Always a good test of a well managed hotel. ||The other great thing about this hotel is that it is right next to the Parsenn ski lift which is the major lift of the resort. ||Will definitely use it again.

After a mix up with the twin rooms at check in the stay was excellent. Nice rooms, decent breakfast, superb location re train, ski hire and ski lift. Great spa. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful - especially Visar Seqiri who was super helpful getting our car restarted after a flat battery. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Visar!

Seehof Hotel Residence Apartment #331 – what a solid five figures ( the cost of a new compact car) per week gets you during WEF Week:||I will start off by saying that none of the issues with this apartment are the fault of the hotel. The hotel staff, especially Tony and Visar went above and beyond to help throughout the trip.||What’s to like: the Seehof Hotel is well located and walkable to many things. Shops and grocery stores are close by. The Buffet breakfast in the morning was plentiful, lots of choices and open until 11am daily. Great coffee machine too! ||The apartment unit has a pretty modern bathroom, a partly functional kitchen and ample closet space to hang up clothes. It was quiet – no noise in the hallways or adjacent units. The view out the windows is nice -the outdoor ice rink and a ski hill in the distance.||Now the not so good, with the unit owner being responsible for (not the hotel): ||-No TV – it was ripped off the wall, leaving an ugly vacant space. The hotel staff tried valiantly to get us connected, so they finally routed our DirecTV through our laptop via cables under the rug into a loaner TV placed on a shelf. The owners didn’t pay the cable/internet bill so there wasn’t any. We had to use the hotel internet signal which was 3 bars at best. ||The coffee machine in the apartment was in pieces on the counter when we arrived, and because we don’t know this model we chose to put it on a closet shelf and ask for a loaner machine from the hotel. One unit leaked water all over the counter, so out it went into the hallway for pickup.||The kitchen has a near-full size refrigerator/freezer that worked well, but no microwave oven. The only saute pan/skillet with non-stick coating was badly scratched up so after one use and food stuck to the bottom of the pan we decided to use the oven to heat food instead. The dish soap and hand soap containers were full – of mostly water, diluted down to the point you need to use 4x more to get the job done.||The thermostat is the radiator knobs – nothing on the wall. It was plenty hot so we propped the windows and balcony door open instead to keep from roasting. The balcony door handle was held on by plastic packing tape-just about to fall off in my hand if it weren’t for the tape.||Daily housekeeping was promised, but we had to ask multiple times to get someone to come 3 times during our stay. Flower arrangements, fresh fruit and a bottle of wine came with the unit as a welcome gift.||The bedroom is small and the bed is crammed in so tightly that there are two doors – one to get to the right side, and another door to get to the left side of the bed. There is a 15-centimeter clearance between the bed and the wall. The bed is not high enough to store large suitcases underneath. Power outlets are only on one side of the bed, and there is a lamp only on one side. Bring your own converter plugs.||The bathroom is more modern, including a large shower and fancy toilet that has a lid and seat that raise and lower automatically. It includes a disco light feature of flashing red and blue when not in use so we had to keep the bathroom door closed to avoid the annoyance.||In short, it was a rip off, we were fleeced by a rental agent who convinced the owner to rent their unit during WEF week. She hadn’t personally inspected it. We won’t be using her services again either.||A word to the wise - avoid apartment 331 until it is gutted and completely renovated.

Possibly the worst service I have ever received - anywhere in the world! Went to the outside bar around 3pm for a drink and a snack. Both staff were phenomenally rude. Not a single smile or welcome and, when I asked for the bill (in German) the waiter waved his finger at me, said ‘nein’ several times and continued to stack cushions. I had to go into the bar to try and pay but the waitresss scowled at me saying that she was busy serving drinks. An awful experience

Let's start with the hotel's advantages: the hotel is located in a perfect location, right next to the cable car and near the train station, breakfasts and dinners are of decent quality. The a'la carte breakfast dishes are tasty and of very good quality. Let's move on to the hotel's disadvantages: 1. The biggest disadvantage is the service, which is simply too few and does not keep up with serving guests. You never know whether you will spend half or two hours in the restaurant. It is completely unpredictable. What's more - at most breakfasts, I had to clear the table myself, bring cutlery, etc. This has not happened to me for years. I have no complaints about the service - I think that despite their willingness, they do not have the physical ability to handle so much. 2. The location of our room - de luxe room no. 114 (photos attached) - I did not expect such a view from the window, the hotel should inform about it. I asked the reception to change it, because it was important to me (I was grounded in my room for health reasons), but no one was interested in helping. 3. Cleaning service - due to the location of the room, we were served at the very end, around 4/5 pm, when we were already in the room and wanted to rest. The cleanliness of the rooms also leaves much to be desired. The hotel should not have 5*, it is not adapted for this at all. It is a pity, because Davos has a lot to offer in the winter season, but unfortunately the hotel did not meet our expectations.

I want to start by saying that this hotel has the best staff—everyone was incredibly friendly and eager to help. Specially, Herr Zeqir. The front desk service was outstanding. My husband and I stayed here for two nights to celebrate my birthday, and I was completely surprised by their thoughtful gestures. After we went for lunch and a hike, we returned to find a beautiful flower arrangement, a plant gift, champagne, and even an entire cake waiting for us! It was such a wonderful surprise.
