⭐️ 5/5 Great local spot! Prefab on Jessie Street is easily one of my favourite cafés in Te Aro. The staff are always super friendly and welcoming, and the service is consistently quick even when they’re busy. Their food quality is top-notch fresh ingredients, great flavours, and a menu that works well for both a quick bite and a proper sit-down meal. They have plenty of dine-in space with a nice, open vibe, and the prices are surprisingly affordable for the quality you get. Their bakery items are a must-try too fresh pastries and bread that taste amazing. Overall, a solid spot for breakfast, lunch, or just a coffee break. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re around Te Aro!

Absolutely loved this place and the atmosphere. Such nice decoration with fresh flowers everywhere. The breakfast croissant was spicy and original. The coffee was very good. Just for the atmosphere, I would go back again without any doubt.

Excellent experience - stopped in for breakfast on my first day in Wellington and very impressed. Ordered scrambled eggs on toast with chives and a coffee, was just hauling things out of my bag, and was served my food and coffee in less than 4 minutes! Been to cafes in 7 countries and that is a very new experience. Food quality excellent, balanced just right and very good value for money as well. Staff efficient and friendly, atmosphere lively and welcoming. Don't wait, go today ⭐

We had breakfast here twice during our latest Wellington visit and loved it. By day 2 we were greeted like old friends and given our "usual" table. The staff are very proactive greeting and seating everyone promptly, the food comes quickly and is excellent. It's a big place, modern and airy catering to mainly locals. The coffee is, of course, excellent!

Sandwiches are good amd delicious! Always crowded, sometimes can't hear what my friends says, but it was okay because food and coffee here are the BEST. Come in the morning or late afternoon on spring or autumn. Magical.

I attended a conference in this venue. Having found out about it, after it was fully booked out I was allowed to come, but had to bring my own food. Their perked coffee was delicious & the server was very personable as well as good looking! The acoustics of the hall were pretty good even though my hearing aids are fairly basic.

nice place, but I didn’t appreciate the lack of salt at the tables and somewhat hard to use utensils (specifically the knives). The lack of chai was rather silly in my opinion but I’ll overlook it because the orange juice and service was amazing. I had the granola which was decent I’m just not a fan of nuts but the options for it were great, I was easily able to add soy milk and coconut yogurt instead because I like healthier alternatives if possible. My mum had scrambled eggs and bacon with toast, which was good but the lack of salt hurt the meal. Luckily the nice waiter gave us some on request. I tried some bacon and it was actually really nice, not to crispy not to soggy. Overall nice place with nice staff but more of a trendy spot rather than having the practical stuff sorted and ready to go.

The food, atmosphere and coffee here are just the best. Seafood chowder is my fav. Only complaint is they don’t open on weekends!!
